Would something like this work?

The busy marble sink and the gray striped tile are both competing for attention. I'd keep the sink as the star and make the tile quieter: a plain light tile in the same size would still match the walls. Then a simple round mirror in brass over the sink, with the new smaller window, would tie it to the faucet.
