“I came home raving about my treatment at this Spa. So much so that I made everyone touch my skin to feel how amazingly soft it was. Possibly inappropriate? Yes. True? Also yes. I am always labeled a workaholic and I have a hard time relaxing my body, not to mention my brain enough to enjoy treatments like this; but by the end of it I said, "Work? What work?! I'm staying here forever!" I received the body wrap, massage, and facial 3-hour package, and it was well worth it. These people have some of the cheapest spa rates in town, but manage to keep it all homey, comfortable, and clean. It's your basic 1-2 punch of relaxing. If you don't need trendy decor and just want to get down to the nitty-gritty, this place is for you. Don't worry, it is well-appointed, clean and decorated well...it's just not your trendy crowd you'd get elsewhere. It almost feels as comfortable as visiting your mom's place (only without the soul-crushing nagging). I should mention - these people are MASTERS of the hot towel. Every single treatment, hot towel on the hands/feet, hot towel on the face. Hot towels all over the place! It's a good thing. The wrap went well; it was something I had never received before. It was altogether uncomfortable and relaxing. It may not be my thing because of the constrictive nature of the wrap, but BOY did it work. My attendant was sweet, and told me what to expect every step of the way though, and it was much appreciated. My favourite part was the massage. I've had a LOT of massages, and I also have a lot of stress. My masseuse was perfectly in tune with my body and adjusted her pressure to where I was tender and worked out probably a year's worth of knots. I say bravo to her because I KNOW it was not easy. My facial was fun, I liked learning about my face and got a good peel and exfoliation. This was the only time the hot towels didn't quite work out, as I left with quite a few peely places on my face. I had to run to the store after my appointment and the cashier looked at me like I was some sort of peely-faced monster. “They completely gutted the master bathroom area due to termites. Installed walls, ceiling, cabinets, sinks, tile, shower and a new walk-in closet area as well as repaired a crack in my bedroom wall and repainted the bedroom. Also removed a pocket door and replaced bathroom and bedroom doors. They also handled some minor repairs to the roof and storage shed. Their estimator came out within several days of my first telephone call, was polite and very pleasant. Within a week I had the estimate in hand and they started the work about 10 days after that. They covered my hardwood flooring and moved the furniture. They were very considerate that I have an indoor cat and accommodated him by being careful with opening doors. They put up dust barriers and cleaned up their mess frequently and especially when they were finished. I really can't say enough good times about Pascual, Richard and Eugene. Their subcontractors were also very pleasant and professional.”
