“I hired Laura to help us design the interior of our new home. We went from a 2100sq ft house to a 4400 sq ft house and had a limited budget to fill all the new space. Laura got right to work and did a full inventory of everything we owned to see how she could maximize what we already had before adding to it. She mapped out a plan for our movers so they knew where to put all of our furniture in the new house. She hired a whole team to do all the work we needed done from painting to hanging TVs. We didn’t have to think about any of it. Best part is she supervised all the work as well. We would go to work and come home and it was just done. She hung gallery walls for us. Placed our family pictures around the house. She maximized our budget to ensure we got all the big pieces we needed and then got thrifty to fill in the extras. Her attention to detail is amazing. She was able to incorporate both my style and my husbands into one cohesive feel around the home. She really understands how a family uses a space and added elements we didn’t even know we needed. For instance there’s toy storage in almost every room of our house but you wouldn’t know it. Instead of looking at toys everywhere we have a designed space that’s beautiful but also functional for every member of our household. Lastly once our project was completed she gave us a phased plan on other projects we wanted to do but didn’t have the budget for at the time. So even though her work was done she left us with a plan on how to continue building our dream home. I found so much value in her work and her ability to get us the most for our money that I hired her for other projects I needed at work.”

“Redecorating of my Family Room: Initially, Sandra did an assessment of my room and provided me with a variety of suggestions; some of which, I was not in favor of at first. She did not pressure me into "doing it her way" but was very respectful of my wishes. However, as I thought about her suggestions and her vision of the entire room, i liked her ideas and we went with the majority of her suggestions. The initial phase included painting of the room and re-staining a few items.The next phase Included the shopping for and purchase of new furniture. This took several shopping trips to complete. During this process, Sandra provided suggestions and feedback, along with her reasoning for choosing certain items and not others. Additionally, she shopped the internet for accessories items and sent me these suggestions for approval. She put together a beautiful picture wall featuring my family. I chose the pictures, we discussed appropriate frames and she reprinted and framed all of the pictures, and on "moving day", hung all of the pictures. Sandra also shopped for and purchased accent accessories. I liked everything she bought. Once the furniture was delivered and we had all of the accessories, she 'put the room together." It is beautiful!!! I love being in this room and can't wait to fix up the rest of my house! Everyone who has seen the room is in awe of how great it looks, and comment on how much it looks like 'it is right out of a decorating magazine."”

“We recently purchased a 3-level 5,000 square foot penthouse in Las Vegas. This space started out with plain white walls and no details of note throughout. Selecting the right interior designer was crucial. Fortunately, we met and hired Jill Abelman of Inside Style. It was a complete project from top to bottom. We raised the floor level in the main living space to better enjoy the views of the strip, a 25’ long custom built-in bar area was designed and many unexpected touches gave it the luxurious “nightclub” feel we desired. The interiors are quite dramatic yet still warm and conducive to our large family gatherings. This project was done entirely long distance. Shortly after Jill’s design presentation, we left the country for an extended trip. All of the selections and decisions were handled quite efficiently thru email, UPS and a few phone calls. Jill was always very prompt in returning our correspondence and kept us in the loop on all progress. Our project was completed on budget and within our quick timeline (We began in September – completion due before Christmas.) She didn’t leave out one detail – down to the fully decorated Christmas tree in the living room and the mistletoe! “I hired Desired Space to update my living room. The idea was to give it a more modern feel without loosing the inviting environment I enjoy having in my home. I feel with the incorporation of new pieces with some of the pieces that I wanted to keep, we were able to create a sophisticated room. We were able to avoid "mistakes" by making several decisions with the design boards that were created by Daniel. These boards also helped my husband to see the vision of the space before execution. Daniel's ability to derive a plan based on our vision was a refreshing departure from the traditional overbearing designer.”
