Spin Design is Auckland's specialists in space planning and interior design. We strongly believe that design can make a difference in people's lives, by enhancing quality of life. Space Planning defines the relationship between rooms, spaces and physical features. It also defines how people will move through the spaces and the activities that will take place in them. The arrangement within rooms and the flow from one space to another make a difference in the feel and functionality of the environment. Interior Design on the other hand is all about how spaces are experienced. In essence, interior design is crafting comfortable, functional and beautiful spaces that anticipate the needs of their occupants and appeal to their emotions.

I have over 20 years’ experience in the interior design industry, both in NZ and the UK. I have been involved in a huge variety of projects, large and small, so contact me now to discuss all your design needs. From a new build home or an extensive renovation, to simply accessorising and “pulling together” your existing schemes, your job – no matter what size – will receive my full attention. I began my interior design career in London in the 90’s, studying at the Inchbald School of Design and then going on to set up the interior design service for the English fashion house, Mulberry. When I returned to NZ in 2000, I set up Jackie Jones Interior Design. Even on a small scale, your renovation will require you to make a huge array of decisions, often with the pressure of time constraints. With my knowledge, experience and contacts, I can work directly with your builder and tradespeople, simplifying the decision making process and eliminating stress. Putting design ideas into practice often means co-ordinating a team of professionals – I work with experienced tradespeople who I trust and have long-standing relationships with. This means you get quality service and an excellent finished product. What I'm doing right now: I'm currently working on several projects in the St Heliers area as well a large project in St Johns. I'm also about to start a new project in Mt Eden in a couple of weeks.
We believe a well designed home that meets your needs and reflects who you are is absolutely central to your happiness. Specialising in residential design, my mission at SOUL Interior Design is to work with you to create a space you love to come home to, love to share with your friends and family, where you can relax and recharge. I'll start by establishing how you and your household live and what the space will be used for. Then I'll learn about you and what you love, helping you define your goals and dreams for your home and identify your style. You may be starting from scratch or maybe your space needs a makeover, a change of layout and some finishing touches. I will provide you with inspiration, ideas and knowledge to make informed decisions, eliminate the guesswork and inject your personality and style into your space.
