“This is the 3rd Project that I have had the Pleasure of Dealing with Cashmere Construction. Owner Derek Dunmyer is simply 'Top Notch'! We don't have a 2 Million Dollar Home, but when Derek Performs work or conducts business with us, he makes us feel like we have a Multi-Million Dollar Home. What has made me Hire Derek, All Three Times, is his Commitment to Excellence. He doesn't accept or Allow Sub Par Work & Performance on the projects that he conducts/completes for you. His Crew is on time, Professional, Courteous, and Clean Up is Excellent. The Quality of Work is Superb. I have had other Contractor Professionals ( Allegedly ) that took Short Cuts, were not person's of their word, and very honestly their idea of repairing something was a situation that will fail ultimately very quickly, because of the shoddy craftsmanship, NON Attention to Detail... in essence putting a 'Bandaid' on an Arterial Wound. Super glue, Duct Tape, Baling Wire....etc. But NOT Derek. He is of the Philosophy of 'Do the Job Correctly, Don't take Shortcuts, Use the Appropriate Supplies, Materials, Skill , Pride of Craftsmanship/Skills that are going to rectify discrepancies effectively for the long run. We plan on other Projects that will be happening soon, and Cashmere Will be who we will call/ contact. Recommended fully without hesitation.”

“I was very pleased with the work on my house in this second remodel, especially given the unexpected death of my husband, multiple changes his death precipitated, and my emotionally and physically exhausted state. I did want to commend multiple Christiansen personnel who were particularly helpful, creative at problem solving, expert craftsmen, and patient with an often not entirely "together" client. Jon (yourself): Top of the list. You were exactly the responsible, creative, and "responsive" manager I expected, especially given the challenging supply issues, sub availability issues, change orders, and my Gavin issues. Patient and kind to a troubled "little old lady"--much appreciated. Jerry: extremely responsive, expert craftsman, concerned about finding everything that needed fixing and seeing that it did get fixed. In addition to his expert carpentry, demolition, and construction on the big items (deck, gazebo, siding, bath carpentry), he did lots of fix up and clean up which was greatly appreciated by me who couldn't manage either mentally or physically , e.g. filling in water-filled pathway and foundation holes, getting every rodent-chewed wire fixed, patching holes in house and shop. Patient and kind--helped a lot. Dennis: responsive, creative and expert craftsman dealing with "pigs ears" existing cabinetry. He was also extra helpful with getting audio/video equipment re-installed and working. Also very patient and kind--helped a lot. Thanks again for your help over both projects. Have a good fall and winter season and holidays.”

“We recently had Henderer Design + Build remodel/enlarge a bathroom for us in our historic 1936 home. Johnelle Metz was the designer and we were very impressed with her work. The design incorporated "aging in place" aspects, including a wider door, a curbless shower, and easy to maintain surfaces. Johnelle found fixtures and materials which suited those criteria and were suitable to the style of the house. She was a delight to work with, and communicated regularly about ideas and schedules.”
