“Julie Graf was the designer for a full remodel of the kitchen in an older home we purchased. We are serious about food and cooking, so the kitchen had to be highly functional; in addition, we are serious about preserving the "feel" of our Victorian-era house, so the design had to take that into consideration. Julie understood those needs and created a design that perfectly blended functionality and beauty while remaining true to the overall feel of the house. She spent a good deal of time talking to us to get a deep understanding of what we wanted, consulted with us frequently to make sure we were all on the same page, and oversaw the work to make sure it was done right. Her sense of color and form helped make our kitchen virtually a showplace. People walking into the room for the first time often say things like "I want this kitchen!" The room is oddly shaped, but she created ample storage space, ample counter space, and extensive pantry-space, while maintaining a sense of spaciousness and allowing easy traffic flow. She combines brilliant technical knowledge, the ability to talk to and understand her clients, and a great aesthetic sense--exactly what you would want in a designer.”

“Stone Kitchens did our kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room. We also had them put granite on our half wall between our kitchen and family room, and in the bay window of our kitchen. All I can say is “Wow -- They did an awesome job!” People who come to our home have told us they love it. We love it. It is a beautiful transformation. The granite is a showpiece that makes our home look absolutely beautiful. I especially love their quality and their workmanship. They really paid attention to the details. They put the seams far away from the sink and the way they cut the seams makes them blend right in. The backsplash pattern matches the granite countertop so that the pattern flows seamlessly. They selected the most beautiful part of the granite to be the showpiece on the peninsula so you see it when you first walk in the kitchen. I love the ogee edge and they even rounded the corners so there are no sharp corners. And they paid attention to the foundational issues to make sure it was supported, level, and installed properly. All of our under-mount sinks are centered and beautifully installed with no seams nearby. The finish they put on the granite feels so smooth and nice to the touch. All 3 rooms turned out to be more beautiful than I ever imaged. I couldn’t be more pleased with every aspect of the job. Thank you Stone Kitchens!”

“Last year, after living with a 1950's style kitchen for over 20 years, my husband and I decided to take the big step to TOTAL kitchen remodel. This also included removal of a wall for a more open space. We chose Buchannan Kitchen and Bath, in particular, Megan Keating, after hearing positive reviews from several of their previous customers. Meg guided us through every step and was only a phone call away for any questions or concerns that we had. From the kitchen cupboards to appliances, from countertop to flooring, Meg and Topper Buchannan guided us step by step. We never felt rushed or pushed into making decisions.
I am a very indecisive person and often second guess myself. I am also a visual person and need to see what I am getting before making decisions. Meg was able to give us answers to all questions and alleviate any anxieties that we may have had. She always went out of her way to meet us at our home or at Buchannan Kitchen and Bath's showroom and even made arrangements for us to visit several of her previous customer's homes so that we could see firsthand other kitchen designs and other's kitchens that had the same designs that we were thinking of choosing.

They had good ideas and insight, and helped us choose complimentary colors for our kitchen update, including the installation of Quartz countertops, subway tile backsplash, sink, and faucet. The ceiling was also repaired/painted and our hallway, woodwork, and numerous doors were painted. Our project was finished in a short amount of time, and I would recommend them based on our positive experience!”
