“The Best Company!!! I've done many different projects with Alex within last 15 years.
He painted my house inside and outside, refinished the hardwood floors of the entire house, finished many plumbing, electrical and carpentry projects, remodeled my bathroom, installed Jacuzzi tub, installed de-icing cables on my roof, made vents from the kitchen and bathroom through the roof, moved ducts to another location, installed motion sensors in our bathroom, replaced garage door opener, etc. You name it - he did it.
My Bathroom is the work of art! You can see the dolphin he designed for me and curved from black granite and white marble on his web site. He even made dolphin eye winking when I enter the bathroom by putting a little light in the dolphin eye.
Within all those 15 years I never even tried to call anybody else. If I need to clean gutters, or to replace faucet or dishwasher; or to install micro-hood - Alex is there for me.
He is a wonderful person and easy to talk to about anything. He knows a lot about construction and does all his work according to national specifications which are always in his truck and ready to be shown to customers at their request.
He never does any shortcuts in his work and whatever he does it lasts forever. His business card is always on my fridge and if I have emergency I can call his number at any time. He is reliable contractor and the only contractor for me.”

They had good ideas and insight, and helped us choose complimentary colors for our kitchen update, including the installation of Quartz countertops, subway tile backsplash, sink, and faucet. The ceiling was also repaired/painted and our hallway, woodwork, and numerous doors were painted. Our project was finished in a short amount of time, and I would recommend them based on our positive experience!”

“Let me begin by stating that you will look long and hard to find a craftsman like Rick Childs of RC Carpentry. His work is absolutely impeccable. If you want the job done on time, in the most professional manner you've ever experienced, and with no hassles ..... RC Carpentry is your best bet.
My wife and I had Rick redo a portion of our master bathroom and a complete basement job. Rick helped us with our design layout (two tiered bar, theater room, billiards area, workout room, storage space, custom bath), many upgrades, and the project turned out flawlessly. He has a great eye for layout and he and his team pay the greatest attention to detail. They also clean up their workspace every night and went as far as vacuuming our floors, the entire basement, and wiping down the entire space before leaving every evening. Their attention to detail is absolutely amazing and I fealt as though they treated my home as they would their own.
During our project, there were no surprises and the communication was terrific the entire time. We did make some alterations during the process, but Rick and his team were flexible and helped us keep track of these with mutually agreed-upon change orders. The final bill was a non-event as we were both on the same page. Finally - the enitire project was completed on time !!! (A virtual rarity for contracted projects).
In closing - all of the skilled trades that came to our home during Rick's management of our project were amazing. You could count on Rick being there day in and day out (yes, Rick and his team never missed a day of production at our home during the project - no delays, no rescheduling .... nothing like this at all) to manage the flow of work, but EVERYONE we came in contact with during the job were high quality craftsman and highly skilled in their respective trades (drywall, plumbing, tile work, painting, granite work, cabinetry). They were all friendly, cordial, on-time, and their work was all rock solid.
If you want the job done right, in a manner you'd be proud of in the end, on time, with zero hassles; don't give it one more thought. Pick up the phone and call Rick at RC Carpentry (Mentor, OH) and you'll thank me in the end.

“From the first meeting to review my ideas for my kitchen "update", to the final inspection upon completion of the project, Lonny displayed his knowledge of product and procedure, punctuality, honesty and respect for my vision. His craftsmen showed up when he said they would, completed their part of the project, and cleaned up after themselves each day. I was able to use my kitchen throughout the entire project except for two days with no cooktop. They were friendly, and very skilled at their jobs. Hats off to Joe, Chris, Rob, Mike, Ed and Jason. When I look at my "new " kitchen , I see a source of pride, and a" thing of beauty". I absolutely love it!
My next project, the master bath, will come next year, and I have already told Lonny that K&B will get the job. Thanks to all who made me love my kitchen again.”
