“I hired BKDP back in October 2011 to redesign the ground level and 2 second level bathrooms of my home. After interviewing different design companies, both my wife and I felt most comfortable with Fardid and Ken as they were very clear and detailed in explaining the whole design process and how they charge for design and renovation to us. The design process took about 6 weeks and the design was revised a couple of times as we added more items to our wish list. They presented different design and material options to us and guided us to select the design that we like. The renovation took about 3 months to complete and we were very pleased with the end result. During the renovation, their coordinator kept us updated with their progress and schedule without the need of me calling them. And whenever I call or e-mail them with questions concerning the project, they would respond to me right away. We are considering to renovate our basement later on and we would definitely rehire BKDP for their service without hesitation.”

“We worked with Parkyn Design on our new home build. Soon after our architectural plans were done, we got Tania Parkyn and her team involved in the process. This timing was paramount to them understanding our big vision. Three things stand out from our work with Parkyn Design. First, one of the biggest strengths Tania demonstrated was her ability to really listen and understand what we wanted. She really did hear everything we said: our ideas, our dreams, our likes, our dislikes. We saw proof of this in the end results when our home seemed to fit us like a glove. Second, Tania’s experience ensured that our home would be timeless, yet incredibly unique and personal to us. Because Parkyn Design is current with trends and ahead of the curve on what’s coming, we were introduced to new products and materials which made the choices for everything both practical and leading edge. “We planned a major renovation of our house, requiring removal of many of the main floor structural walls. I met with multiple contractors but ultimately chose Matt and his team, due to their extensive experience and competitive quote. Boy am I glad I did! Matt and his team were professional, on time, and worked within our budget. We changed our minds on a few things as the project went along and Matt quickly adapted to make things work for us. Matt went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the final product. Ie There was a post too close to my open-concept kitchen and I asked Matt to move it. Moving it was very difficult as it required creating a new footing in a very tight basement but Matt and his team delivered. I'm very happy with our experience and highly recommend Matt and his team!”

“We hired M@W to help us design and build our studio space in Toronto. The site was an ancient double bay garage that had formerly been stables. We ran services and natural gas to the studio, tore down a section of the central dividing wall, dug and poured a new floor and drain, replaced the roof, installed HVAC, new windows and doors. In just under 5 months our studio was up and running. These are some of the nicest people you'd ever have the joy of working with. Paul the owner is as interesting to deal with as he is interested in the projects he undertakes. We're now in the process of looking for a new property to combine live and work and we will be working with Men at Work bar none!”

“Hi. I am a realestate agent & love selling beautiful homes. Andrea - the owner of ADM just re-modeled a listing of mine - I am telling you it went from dated to fabulous in a couple of weeks! She & her team did a wonderful job & are so easy to deal with. I have had the house on the market 1 day & already have a very interested buyer & several showings booked. The house was on the market for 6 months with another realestate company & they got no offers. Andrea also re-did the kitchen & living room of a friend of mine & it too went from 1950's drab to fab - my friend is now contracting to do the rest of the house. Another friend of mine has had her redo the whole upstairs and loves it. I also recently visited a home Andrea did for the annual Pickering College Xmas tour - I was really impressed - she did a make-over of the whole house & it showed marvelously! And she also recently showed me a huge house she has been doing over the years as the owners change with the times & this house was unbelievable - the crown mouldings, the kitchen, the hand-painted murals - all very impressive. I also sold Andrea a beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright style home that was a bank repo & in agonizing condition - you should see what she's done for this home.
