“In February 2023 I took 3 bids to tear down an old redwood deck and replace it with a Trex deck. I chose Rob Kurk Construction. His bid was very competitive. He had excellent references, great communication skills, he is professional and easy to talk with. He has good listening skills and responsive to my requests or changes. Rob and his crew built a beautiful 12'x80' Trex deck with iron railings and three flights of steps in the amount of time and price Rob had originally stated. “We hired Leslie Onsager to take care of designing the interior, exterior, and even landscape of our remodeled home. Words cannot describe the outcome of this craftsman-style home we ended up with! Leslie walked us through every step with professionalism and creativity. She made suggestions when we asked and paid attention to what we liked. When we changed our minds last minute, she gladly worked out the change to our liking! People come into our home weekly and comment on how beautiful and how inviting and comfortable it feels...that's exactly what we were going for! Leslie's tireless efforts to finish the project well and in a timely matter are to commended. I can't recommend this company enough.”

“We hired Sam and his team to completely replace one deck, and repair another, per pest report issues. Not only was Sam prepared to work with a real estate deal, his bid was competitive, and was chosen for his overall professionalism, word of mouth recommendation, and visual inspection of other projects, including new home construction. Everything was beautifully done- his crew arrived daily, even shoveling snow off dirt in order to pour footings in very cold temperatures. Progress was very timely with no delays at all. His choice of woods for the deck reflected hand-selected care. His suggestions for improving the design of the original deck to be replaced were spot on. We would hire him again if needed, and highly recommend him.”

“I have used Adam for three jobs now. Once, as President of an HOA, where an exterior wall needed replacement. One of the unit owners was a highly respected and demanding architect; Adam was the first contractor who satisfied him. We then used him for a bathroom remodel, which was an infinitely better experience in terms of budget overruns, fit and finish, service and timelines to our previous bathroom remodels. Having watched too many episodes of HGTV, we bought a fixer. Adam looked it over with us, and then proceeded to over deliver on expectations every step of the way. Adam is sort of like a combination of Nordstroms and Holmes of Holmes on Homes. Any problems that you, the customer, has, he will fix. And there will be no bogus shortcut code violation techniques, not ever. His subcontractors are premium, and he knows when and how to keep in touch both personally and online. His budgets are realistic, and change orders are transparent and timely. He provides design guidance, but listens carefully to owner design choices. Things always hit glitches, but I did not worry about them. They always got resolved. If you want a cheap contractor to do things without permits, look elsewhere. If you are looking for availability in a top of the line contractor, I would check Throne Builders out.”

“Our experience with Allstar Construction and Pest Management has been great over the years. We own a small cabin in Twain Harte, Ca. that was constructed over 60 years ago - and Charley and his crew brought it back to life when we purchased it 4 years ago as a weekend and vacation get-away. With our DIY projects each weekend keeping us busy, Charley takes care of the bigger picture items for us - and manages the work locally while we are at our primary residence 120 miles away..... We trust him and his crew to "do the right thing" for our cabin, and come and go on their timetable - so we are able to use and enjoy our cabin on the weekends. He has our keys - and I can't think of a better testimonial as to how much we trust Charley and his guys to work on our cabin in our absence.”

“Randy was very professional to work with. All work was completed within budget and on time. All work was done to code regulations. Randy walked us through the entire project showing where we could obtain necessary product at the best price. The work Randy did for us included remodel of two bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, and living room. He completely gutted bathrooms and kitchen, installing knotty pine ceilings, kitchen cabinets and flooring. Randy has completed other upgrades to our home as well. He will always be our “go to” contractor.”

“Tony Westlake (Anthony's Building Co) completed a major remodel of our home and added a 950 square foot two story addition. The quality of ABC's work is without peer. Tony managed the entire project, including the work of several sub-contractors, to complete the job on time and on budget. No small feat given the complexity of the project. Finding a contractor that you can trust is an all too rare experience. I would hire ABC again without reservation.”
