“Taylec has done two large remodeling projects on our house. The first project was a large 2 car garage with family room above it and a small entryway in the front of the house. The second project was a full remodel of our kitchen that also involved moving the location of our stairs down to the basement. Doing large remodeling projects can be very stressful. Luckily, Roman was a great communicator throughout the projects and always willing to answer our call whenever we had questions. He also provided guidance throughout the construction to make sure we got the best quality within our budget. I could not be happier with Taylec and would recommend them for any project you have in mind.”

“Kitchen remodel and 2 Bathroom remodels I had the pleasure of working with Matriarch Construction to remodel my kitchen and 2 bathrooms and they exceeded our expectations. "Received daily emails regarding progress and/or upcoming information/meetings. Quick response/resolution to any concerns/changes requested. Clear breakdown of allowances/estimates, including any change orders. Friendly, and reliable from start to finish. Which is a huge comfort for a family having work done in their home - especially with young kids. Great follow through with open items at the end of the job. Did not have any issues getting them to come back to finish even the smallest items. Outstanding service. Thank you Matriarch!”

“After interviewing several contractors, we are so glad we hired Steve and his crew to completely rebuild and expand our 1950s kitchen in our 1920s fixer-upper. Steve was incredibly detail oriented, yet flexible and patient in working with and advising us as we designed most of the kitchen and small addition project ourselves. He did everything possible to be respectful of our budget, even as we ran into a few (to be expected in an older home) small surprises. His advice was invaluable, and responsiveness immediate. Moreover, he agreed to work with our plumber with whom we are friends and already felt very comfortable with working on our home. His other subcontractors, including work on tile, plastering, and electrical, were all as pleasant and reliable as Steve himself. Steve was omnipresent; always making sure the job got done right no matter what stage it was in. Steve always made sure to make any touch ups needed after the subcontractors finished their work. Steve and his crew were not only nice to have around, but created a safe and even fun atmosphere while we lived through this major renovation and necessary disruption in our home. With their diligent work, we went from a cramped, awkward, and outdated kitchen, to one we love and doubles as both functional and sorely needed social space that our modest home previously lacked. Steveworks turned our ideas into such a great kitchen that we promptly hired them to completely renovate our dated bathroom. Steve worked with us, our sometimes quirky house, and a very tight budget to give us a dramatically improved space. We highly recommend Steveworks to anyone who is considering hiring a contractor. They are very hard working, care about the craftsmanship and were very good to work with personally. I couldn't be happier with how the project came out. Tiago is very thorough and was very fair with the many add-ons to the project. The team pushed really hard to get us in the house on time, which was huge and we are truly grateful.
