“I have had Mac Renovations do several major projects on my house over the past four years, all of which have been of exceptional quality. The first big one was turning my unfinished basement into a two bedroom unit for my father, including kitchen and bathroom. They got it done on time and on budget. Mac has also overseen the painting of the exterior of my house, including managing several repairs needed during the painting process. Mac oversaw the new roof placed on my house as well, including undertaking repairs needed during the roofing process. In addition to these bigger projects, they've also handled some smaller jobs, such as my house's skylights, which started to show small signs of leaks after 20 years. They had someone here to measure and order the new skylights within hours, and they were installed within a week. They've also built exterior sheds on my property that are safe, secure and solid. I generally have left town during my renovation projects, and I have complete confidence that Mac will get my job done while I'm away. I trust them 100% with what is by far my greatest asset, my house.”

“I have a very unique review of Twin Lions Contracting Ltd as I have witnessed Kevin's growth in the industry since 2007. I hired Kevin when he was an apprentice to re-do my kitchen and build two closets. Needless to say, the work was top notch! I was impressed with Kevin's professionalism and the timeliness of the project's completion. Over the past 5+ years I have been fortunate enough to view a few of Kevin's projects and I have been amazed at the quality and craftsmanship. It is clear to me that Kevin has evolved into a first rate contractor. Kevin will give you an honesty and accuracy (which came in handy when my apartment needed to sell and the project was completed ahead of schedule) as well as team of carpenters/tradesmen that will give nothing but high quality results. “Steve and his crew at Made to Last Building Renovations did the installation of our commercial millwork in the Shaw Retail store in Victoria. The project was very complex containing wood columns, hanging wood bulkheads, oversize wood panels that needed to be scribed to drywall. Steve and his team had no difficulty with this install and executed it to a high level of quality. Communication was really good, they answer their phones when I need to get a hold of them and they are proactive on updating us on the status of the job. We are based out of Calgary AB, so it can be difficult to manage a job from out of town, Made to Last pretty well managed the entire install of the project. Billing and was fair and professionally done and there were no change order surprises. We would most certainly use Made to Last Building Renovations again in the future and are happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a solid, honest, quality oriented contractor.”

“I contracted Deckpro to level & resurface a vinyl deck as part of a repair renovation I was conducting. The work was weather dependent and Dale did is best to get the job done as soon as the week long rain cleared up. I went on my honeymoon mid-way through this project, and Dale did a great job liaising with the homeowners and my lead carpenter. His estimate and invoice were both detailed and prompt. “Having watched and heard about many renovation disasters we understood very well how important it is to have a good contractor. We chose Best Builders on a recommendation from family who had their renovation done by them. We were, like many considering renovations, looking forward to the end result of our renovation but not going through the process. We had some challenges along the way, as most renovations do, but Best Builders was there to support us through them. For example, we had chosen a countertop for our kitchen and, before it was ordered, we were contacted by Jennifer Best and advised that it was not a recommended product and did not have a warranty. We didn’t know this and thus chose another product that did have a warranty. This is just one way that Best Builders proved that they were looking out for our best interests. All the staff from the sales people, to the office workers through the site supervisor, were informative and personable. The tradespeople both in-house and subcontracted provided a high level of quality and professionalism. The communication during the project was excellent. No matter what the question or problem we had, we were confident that it would be answered or addressed. We are very happy with our renovation and we have no reservations in recommending Best Builders to others. They are a trustworthy and honest company. We will definitely be calling them for our next renovation.”
