“From our first meeting with ‘the Nicks’ we were immediately struck with their enthusiasm and insight into our project. We were impressed with the time and dedication they showed in producing a very well laid out and costed specification based on our initial plan. They are very particular paying careful attention to detail and have built up an excellent team of skilled contractors who all worked to an extremely high standard. They managed to work around us, whilst we continued living in the property, ensuring that we had basic services available at all times - much appreciated in the winter months.
During the build Nick Turner was onsite to supervise, and otherwise, was quick to respond to email and texts and kept us informed of any delay or snags. Nick Crick (Customisation King) proposed practical solutions to any problems that arose and they were both particular in leaving the site immaculate at the end of the project. “I've used J White Developments for a number of years. The projects have been varied in size and type but have always been done well and at a reasonable cost. The owner, Josh, has an extensive understanding of the building trade and has been able to advise and recommend solutions for every problem I have given him. He has always kept me informed on costs and timings and comes in on budget unless we agree changes. When he has used sub-contractors he has always overseen their work to make sure it is up to standard.

“We were delighted with every aspect of Nixor's work. The project involved re-roofing and doing a loft conversion to a Victorian property that needed careful consideration by the builder on many aspects:
Maintaining and restoring the character of the property.
Adhering to a strict budget.
Working withing permitted development.
Adding Intricate structural steelwork with minimal interior damage [it looked like building equivalent of keyhole surgery].
Working within confined spaces between neighbouring properties and limited parking.
Taking into consideration that young children were living at the property, and in neighbouring properties during the build.
Nixor managed the job excellently and always left the site in a clean, safe and tidy condition at the end of the day. They put up protection to stop debris from falling onto neighbouring property and checked daily that nothing had fallen. It made working in close confines with neighbours possible, helped by their general consideration of the needs of those around them, not just those of the build. ALL members of the team were polite and courteous with neighbours etc at all times.
Nixor were reliable in that they always did what they said they would do and turned up when agreed.
I could not recommend them highly enough and are planning on using them again in future. We had friends doing building work at the same time who did nothing but complain about their builders, but we missed ours after they had gone!
