“The team turned up right on time every day the work was being carried out, got on with the work required and cleaned up each night before leaving. They kept me informed along the way with changes that was required and ensured I was happy with the progress, all in all I am very happy with the end result it was just what we were after, I would recommend anyone to consider David Nicholas Construction for building work, in my opinion they are flexible and reliable.”

“From start to finish, I was very impressed with James' professionalism. When giving the quote, he listened carefully to what I wanted and, when asked, offered some very good suggestions! James was very upfront with the cost of the job; the price I was quoted was the price that I paid. Furthermore, he was clear about when the job would start and how long it would take. He and his workforce were very friendly and professional throughout. I would certainly recommend James' services. I felt that what I was quoted for the work he completed was fair, the work was done to a very high standard and was completed on time. A very happy customer!”

“I just had to share my amazing experience with Scott Bricklaying, who just finished building our 2nd home. These guys are amazing! They did some incredible stonework on our property that just blew us away. We've had so many compliments on it already, and love the blend of reclaimed stone and brick. The team is super capable and really cares about their work. They were always up for making tweaks to the design to make it even better and they really paid attention to all the little details. I loved that they were able to offer suggestions and ideas to enhance the property, and they made everything look absolutely amazing. Honestly, we just loved working with the whole team. They're so easy-going and friendly, but they're also incredibly skilled at what they do. We always felt like we were part of the team and we knew that they had our backs throughout the whole process. All in all, if you're thinking about building your dream home, you absolutely need to go with Scott Bricklaying. They're just amazing and we couldn't be happier with how our house turned out. Huge thanks to the team for everything they did for us! I've included some pictures of the build.”

Having spoken to other local clients we were confident that he would do a good job. This was entirely borne out by experience over the whole length of the contract. All his employees and sub-contractors were a delight to work with. Steve's skill as a manager reduced our stress levels to virtually zero. We did not need to employ our own project manager. There were no unexplained delays. We were impressed by the way he could move staff between different jobs in the locality to maximise their activity. “Ian and his team at IMS building have created us the most amazing family home, and transformed it from the 1970s into a stunning modern day home. Ian helped us from start to finish with ideas and suggestions, and had a full team of trades available that he trusts to do the job. Ian built the extension during Covid and although there were delays due to areas outside of his control, he was honest to the price he quoted and always kept us updated, which we were most grateful for. Ian listened to ideas we had and was happy to take on extra work as the project progressed. Ian was true to the work he quoted for, ensured the project passed building control and was flexible to make changes as the build and internal work progressed. We can't thank Ian and all at IMS enough for the fantastic family space they have created for us.”
