“We bought a new house and wanted a 2 storey extension on the side of the house and extending out the kitchen and lounge at the back of the house. A friend recommended Julian and in turn Julian recommended pretty much every type of contractor and professional we would need to complete our project. This was really helpful as sourcing a reputable architect, structural engineer, quantity surveyor and a team of specialists was a daunting task and not something we expected of Julian. One of the most reassuring parts of the planning phase is how Julian set our budget expectations. This became very apparent very quickly because the other people we initially approached at the same time as Julian pretty much told us what we wanted to hear, whereas Julian took a much more realistic approach. It was an easy choice to go ahead with Julian and we did not regret that decision. He managed all aspects of the project, start to finish and the results are exceptional. We have no hesitation in recommending Julian and JNR Construction.”

“The moment we met Daniel, we had confidence in his skills; which were also endorsed by our architect. The team of builders employed by Daniel were polite, hard-working, tidy, respectful and highly skilled. My wife and I have high standards on finish, and the plastering particularly was excellent. The whole extension and garage utility work was well project managed and when challenges arose (mainly around our kitchen from Wren), Daniel was calm and helpful to help resolve any issues and did a lot more to help than any other tradesman I've come across (parts did not come as planned, not DK's fault). This is my fourth house refurb and by far the best. We are so happy, and really proud of our extension. The comments by friends and family have been outstanding.”

“Elliott Construction were 5 stars from start to finish with our kitchen / living area extension. They were the only ones that quoted for the work that really seemed to take a genuine interest in the project we were trying to create and the only ones that got back to us when they said they would. Just on their initial service alone I could tell they were going to be the best. They managed our project through from start to finish, were honest and upfront about everything so there were no surprises, and actually finished ahead of when they estimated they would. I have no hesitation in recommending Elliotts to anyone - 5 stars.”

“I would wholeheartedly recommend Matt and his team for any prospective project. Having had several renovations in the past that did not go well, my husband and I were incredibly nervous about selecting a building team for our garage conversion. We met with Matt who went through everything with us in great detail, providing us with accurate quotes, start dates and lead times. After the first couple of days of working with Matt we realised we had made the right decision. Aside from doing a great job his team were respectful, polite and always happy to answer any questions. Matt kept us informed daily as to who would be coming in, what time and what they would be doing each day. We could see the workmanship and quality from day one (which after our previous experiences was a complete). Initially Matt and the team were taken on to convert our garage to a studio and office for myself but afterward we continued to work with him to put right the things that previous builders had messed up (leaking extension, side wall that hadn’t been tied in, rafters in the extension roof that were completely rotten and concrete flooring which was breaking up). Matt managed to get everything done for us and our house is now in great shape. I can quite honestly say if another project ever comes up Matt Tromans would be the only person we would consider.”

“I was recommended Pavilion Property Holdings by my QS (Gary Boyle) when the initial contractor on my first new build - The Coach House / Sale was suddenly too busy to commit at the last minute. As the property had already been sold off plan, both cost and time were critical plus being a design-led developer, an attention to detail was also important to me. Despite some bad weather, and a few problems sourcing specific products and material price increase (both due to Brexit & Covid), Pavilion PH brought the build in to the agreed budget and also on schedule. On site I found all the trades I encountered knowledgeable, and helpful, none more so than the excellent site manager, Nigel. I also very much enjoyed working with Pavilion's Project Manager (and MD) Masoud who really understood what I was trying to achieve and very much saw the project as a collaboration rather than just another job. While some (very minor) mistake were made along the way - mainly due to the incredible speed the team seem to work - these were immediately rectified without complaint. In all, Pavillion balanced professionalism with friendliness and directly contributed to the huge success of the project - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them - in fact I am hoping to work with them again once planning is granted on my current scheme in Stockport, and we are also looking at a potential JV project back in Sale.”

“I had Dan and his team come to give me a quote, following a recommendation from a friend. They were friendly, gave advice and were not pushy in the slightest (which is good, as any pushiness gets an immediate no from me!) The original quote was above my budget (which was more a reflection of my low budget than the quote being high), but Dan took the time to come out again, and work with me to find sensible ways to change the design to reduce the cost whilst maintaining quality and usability. On site, they were very professional, friendly and efficient. One unforeseeable issue was found under the old surface, which was rectified at minimal cost. Once half a drive is dug up, a company could theoretically use such an issue to make a few quid, but instead Dan kept the cost increase down. As for the finished product, it is excellent. I need both hands to count the neighbours and passers by who have commented on what a great job it is. Thank you Dan and the team!”
