“We spoke with numerous builders and started our building project with one other builder before finally finding Freese Custom Homes, and are so glad that we found them and decided to have them build our home. Todd was amazing to work with from the very beginning planning process all the way through to following up after we moved into our home. Instead of working with an architect, we had Freese Custom Homes design our house based on some ideas we had and are incredibly happy with the floorplan and design we ended up with, not to mention the cost savings over using an architect. Todd was able to design a house that was laid out just like we wanted, and also made sense from a builder's perspective so there were no architectural surprises during the building process. Communication throughout the build was great, which was very important as hiccups related to covid supply issues arose. Todd was able to work around all of the issues that came up and found reasonable alternatives when the selections we chose were no longer available. The end product is above our expectations and we couldn't be happier about how it turned out. If I had another building project in the future, Todd would be my first choice without hesitation.”

“We hired this company in 1991 to custom build our 3200 square foot home. This is a family owned business and at that time was owned and operated by Mike Ritzman's mom and dad. They were terrific. They were on time, they were pleasant and they even returned some of our money. In the ensuing years I have had them remodel a rental property I have, plus a $30,000 repair when a large tree fell onto the roof. A couple of years ago I had them build a custom garage of about 1550 feet. This is the $50,000 - $100,000 listed in this review. Once again they did it on time and on budget. I wouldn't go anywhere else for work, whether new construction or a remodel.”

“We used Scott Homes to design and build a 5 bedroom house on the Washington Coast. The house is used both as a vacation rental and as a family vacation spot. There were several requirements that needed to be met, and Scott Homes met all of them with ease. One of those was it needed to be a green building and they are experts in using SIPS panels which give the house a great feel. They are also really good people, honest and helpful. I loved how they allowed us complete say where we wanted it in coming up with design & hammering out details, but offered ideas/experience where we needed it, also offering wonderful subcontractors and suppliers. They stayed exactly on target from a time and budget standpoint. I would recommend them highly.”

“We decided to use this builder because we were able to build a bigger house for the same amount of money spent to buy a smaller house. The whole staff was very friendly and knowledgable. They walked us through every step and were always available if and when we had questions. There were a lot of options available for us to choose from. It was so fun to be a part of building our home! While our home was being constructed, I was able to get to know the inspector. He would comment about how this builder, Lexar, was building ABOVE the minimum code requirements. As the homeowner, knowing that, made me confident we chose the right builder!! It has been almost 5 years now, and we would DEFINITLY choose this builder again!!”

“We hired Jeff to be our contractor on a house and landscape remodel project. The work we had done required extensive planning from needing a new hydrant put in to an outdoor seating area in a completely rejuvenated backyard. The people who worked directly with him and the subcontractors he recommended were all polite and pretty timely; except for some delay from the city/county. The bulk of the project was to reduce yard maintenance (lawn cutting) while providing an extensive outdoor seating and entertainment area that could be utilized year-round. Inclusive to that was over a 1000sq feet of flagstone pavers, outdoor glass roofed deck now accessible from 3 large French doors. I'd recommend, and already have recommended, Jeff and many of his subcontractors to friends and neighbors to help improve their homes and personal projects.”
