His crew was very meticulous, respectful of our time and home, and very accommodating when I decided to add something in mid-remodel(extra painting). “Chris completely remodeled our master bathroom; It involved removing the vanity tops and sinks, modifying the counters to increase storage, removing the old small stand - alone shower and turning it into a closet, tearing out the whirlpool tub and replacing it with an extraordinary large walk-in shower with frameless glass door and wall. He also removed an octagonal shaped window and replaced that with a 4" x 4" glass block window that brings daylight into the shower. The floor was replaced with ceramic tile that matches the shower, a new vanity top was installed with new sinks and hardware and the whole place re painted. It's been over 2 years now and it still looks like new and we enjoy it every day. It was well worth the time it took to get the job done. It is clear there is a level of personal pride that goes into each client project. They back that pride with a solid warranty program and in our case, we’re pleased that our project came in within budget. When your friends and family tell you your home should be in Architectural Digest---that’s just a bonus. It’s a big responsibility to build someone’s home. A home is the core of a family, it’s your sanctuary and it’s a serious financial investment, one that can cannot be entrusted to just any builder. “John Newton of Cornerstone Builders recently built us a home in Weatherford, TX. We could not be more pleased!! John is a man of high integrity. He is a family man, trustworthy, and very intent on making everything right! John is extremely reliable, which is important in the building process. He answers emails, texts and is regularly on site. Having a talented builder is a real plus. He leveled dirt on a tractor, dabbled in a couple plumbing projects, installed appliances and much more. He even cut a metal hanging candle holder that I wanted to hang in a niche; it was just a tad bit too large. He has been in the profession long enough to have selected some outstanding contractors. We feel that we had the "best of the best" plumbers, electricians, tile layers, carpenters, etc. I don't think we will be moving from this gorgeous home, but If we did need to downsize or move for any reason, John would be building us another home!
