“Being new to the area, I found Lovett Building by pure chance. I assumed I'd have to meet several contractors before finding a match. Not so! Ben Lovett can handle everything from design to digging, foundations to fancy, paint to plumbing. But beyond being a capable creative contractor, Mr. Lovett has ideas and vision. I was embarking on a total remodel of a shabby 1940's miners cabin, and I had absolutely no idea what I was doing! And yet, I knew a lot about how I wanted it to feel in the end. So I needed a very patient builder who was also an astute listener. And naturally, I also needed someone honest, hard working and communicative. Lovett Building met all these needs, in addition to all the basics: accountable, thorough, and stayed within budget and timeline. The process (1 year) was fun and interesting, and I am now living in my dream home. Could not be happier!”

“We hired Robert Wise in April 2013 as a general contractor, to build a vacation house in the Tahoe Donner community in Truckee, cA. Given that this is the first house we've built, and since we live 200 miles from Truckee, we didn't know what to expect and were worried that the project will go sideways without constant supervision and experience managing such projects. However, Robert gained our utmost trust from the very beginning. Every conversation we've had with Robert, whether in person, on the phone, or over email, was pleasant and professional. Robert was always completely transparent in his decision making, shared best-practices from his many years of experience, and helped us avoid costly mistakes. He was hands-on during the drafting phase, and gave us good advice when designing the internal layout and materials of the house. Robert displayed exemplary work ethics, working through weekends and bad weather in a race against time to get the house sealed in time for winter. Unlike other contractors we've interviewed, Robert enjoys and takes pride in actually working on the house, rather than managing the project from the trailer. In summary, we were extremely lucky to have found and hired Robert to build our house. The house is beautiful, the construction was completed on time and in budget.”

“I am on the second phase of a whole house remodel with Trilogy and I have nothing but praise for them. They have shown great flexibility when working with me and their subcontractors have been both pleasant and professional. If there is a problem, which occurs when one is living in the house during the project, Trilogy gets it fixed right away. Beth and Shawn have been a lot of fun to work with and always try to accommodate my sometimes quirky demands. I would work with them again any time.”

“Mark Neave and his office made building our dream vacation home in Lake Tahoe a painless and wonderful experience. They were honest and trustworthy. Willing to work with our architect and designer. Offered savings options on the building process. Kept us uptodate and most importantly on budget. Given that we lived 300 miles away, we always felt that our home was in good hands. Most importantly, after our home was completed, Mark and his staff have been wonderful at making sure that our home stays in perfect condition. I would absolutely recommend Mark and NSM construction. Wish they could build our home in Santa Cruz.”

“I have worked with a number of builders and contractors throughout my career and I have recommended very few but I whole-heartedly recommend Daniel Fraiman Construction. Dan and his firm are the consummate professionals. Among the many virtues of Fraiman Construction, I was most impressed by their: willingness to listen to what I wanted to accomplish, providing a number of options including the cost and timeframe (and meeting both), executing in an efficient and craftsmanlike manner - excellent work/excellent subs, and returning to the home years after completion to help make modifications and maintain the home (e.g., staining, adding outdoor lighting, etc...). In short, Dan Fraiman Construction receives my unqualified recommendation and endorsement. Truly, they are just that good and to be clear, I have no relationship with the firm other than being a very happy customer. Bravo Dan!”

“Brian is a very honest and respectful contractor. He always followed up on questions that we had about the project. To add to this he was very creative and found things on line that saved us money. The people that worked for him always cleaned up after they worked and were friendly and kept on task. For example we used reclaimed wood from back East on flooring in our new addition to our home. In the new bathrooms we used different granite and tile which was very eye appealing when everything was finished. He found excellent doors for the inside and the outside of our home that were very different. He would send us pictures weekly as to how things were progressing and asked me to look on line for lighting, sinks, granite, etc. and asked me about colors. He met with me at different places to show me things to look at (cabinets, tile, etc.) Also he took me to different homes he had done and I was able to look at his work before I hired him. This is what influenced me to hire his company. In our walk in closet in the new master suite he suggested track lighting and it looks incredible. Our new addition was 1500 sqaure feet to our home and then we remodelled the bathrooms, bedrooms, and took out walls to add a large great room to the existing home. I will add photos if you provide me the information as to how you would like me to send them. As with any building of a new home or remodel you tend to go over your budget. Brian was able to keep our budget within our means and found lots of ways to say us money. I would hire Structerra Inc. again if I was to do any more work on our Tahoe home.”
