SOUND PROOF ATLANTA is based in Atlanta, GA and a provider, manufacturer, installer, designer and consultant to any and all owners of facilities requiring the aspect of sound proof control. Our specialities are windows (which have a STC rating to block noise); studios (build-out for vocal and music and any studio requiring the need for sound transmission control); and sound blocking/absorbing wall material both for us to install or for direct purchase. We provide windows that can be installed both on the interior or exterior of your existing windows or as replacement windows. As for studios, we handle the design and or install of how much noise absorbency and or blockage you require for the walls, window, ceiling. With the growth of artists in Atlanta, we have done studios from the size of a closet to an entire level. The owners are Steve Forrester and Kathryn Sener- Forrester. Steve handles the sales, engineering and design of the art of soundproofing. Kathy does the promoting, marketing, project management and look of the business. Steve has been in the sound proof business for 9 years and prior to that has been a contractor in the residential space, as well as, buying and selling homes while doing the renovation. All this after retirement. In the corporate world he was VP and President over a biotechnology company and water, hygiene and energy technology company. He has a degree in agriculture and masters in business. He grew up on a farm and knows the whole aspect of cattle, crops and the labor of farming. Kathy is also an Entrepreneur. She has started and sold her own business which was creating a product to service the diabetic pet community; a consultant on the art of increasing sales and author in storytelling. In the corporate world a Sales Director in telecommunications managing sales teams working in the space of media, entertainment, transportation. She is a new member to the world of sound proofing, but not the world of business. Today their vision is to elevate their presence in the marketplace so that people are aware that there are solutions for reducing the obstacle of noise that surrounds you.
