LL Flooring

The flooring is definitely fraudulent advertising and is so cheaply made it can not be used by a household of one senior citizen and one dog. The warranty is a joke because it immediately puts the blame on the customer if they do anything other than look at the flooring while it is still in the box. I give it a zero because the company made me go through all kinds of steps, just to say ultimately that I "hit' the flooring too hard while installing, my house must be excessively humid, which it can't be, the house must have experienced too extreme of temperatures, again can't happen, etc. Do not buy from them because you will have to replace the floor within two years and it is not recyclable.

Do NOT use them. Their quality is terrible and their customer service is beyond horrible. Took 6 months and three contractors to install our floors. They caused over $1,400 in damages to our home and attempted to trick us into signing away our right to a warranty. Steer clear of ever using them!!

08/2023: I am updating this review from 1 star to 3 stars. I eventually was able to make some headway. My local store continues to be helpful and pleasant to deal with, but unfortunately they are impotent when it comes to correcting a poorly installed floor. That falls on LL corporate, and they were terrible to deal with. Very slow responses, next to impossible to speak with the case rep, anyone in a leadership role, or anyone at all save for the receptionist. After an $11k job suffered a bad install, they offered me $500 because my biggest problems became obvious after the termination of the 1 year install warranty. About 4 months after. (BTW- the Lifetime Warranty on the product is a trap that I fell into, they can wriggle out of that one pretty easily). The reason they get 3 stars instead of 1 is again, the local store was great to deal with, but God help you if the install goes South and you're beyond a year. Fortunately the original installer they used has an incredible reputation, and after I lost all hope that LL cared about doing the right thing, I contacted the original installer and they were disappointed in how things had been handled. They were adamant about making things right. And they totally came through, and fixed the original mistakes free of charge. I wish I had just reached out to them in the first place instead of trying to deal with LL Corporate.

What was advertised and what was installed (See pics). I didn't know until it was too late that the hardwoods looked like stripes and looked nothing like what was advertised. Don't plan on using the warranty, you will need to sue if you have any issues. Check out the $30M Class action lawsuit that was required on their bamboo flooring. Try a company that doesn't have ongoing class action lawsuits that are being filed against them. A company that clearly can own up and say, "Yes, it's not a slight difference in the stain, it's a different product you received all together. Do not buy, and if you do hope everything is perfect.

I was recommended by another flooring company to stop by to see if they had what I was looking for. As soon as I walked in this young lady named Meghan Sims approached me with a smile. I showed her my sample and right away she assisted me on finding what would look right in my house Meghan took down my information and informed me that she will contact me if I don't call her. Walk in a few days later, purchased my wood floors. If you're ever in the store ask for her. Just a down to earth, show patience and have alot of knowledge about their product.

Wow!!! Just had our entire first floor install with the Chevron pattern. We love love love it!!! We were fortunate with it being in stock. From the store to the install everyone was fabulous.

The people are not honest. I went to their showroom and choose a good quality vinyl and paid for it but they installed the cheap one instead. They changed the invoice without telling me made me feel that is a scheme.

If you need to order make sure to do so from a local store. I found a number on the website that ended up being the NC Corporate office. I was assured they could take my order and have it shipped to arrive in 3-5 days. It has now been 14 days. In the interim I realized I was still one piece short which I ordered from the local office. It was delivered 4 business days later. I still do not have the original order. When I called (after being on hold 32 minutes) I was told it it the fault of the third party provider and LL Flooring can do nothing.

The crew we had today was awesome. They did the job in 1 day and started before 9 am and worked in almost 5:30 . The guys I had yesterday was good but didn’t complete the job. But the 5 guys we had made up for it today. They even sweep my floor in all the entry ways. My floor looks great. I am super happy with the job they did. My floor looks amazing.

I ordered three samples of LVP. I received the first one, but the order status on the other two never updated. I called to ask if they had any more information, and the representative curtly gave me a date they were showing for the order to be fulfilled. That date has passed, and one of the two remaining samples has been picked but not shipped, while the other remains open still. I understand delays, but set expectations and be polite when you miss them.

We've bought vinyl planks from the Morrisville Store, NC and got the wrong product delivered. My contractor has installed it in the laundry room and when we went to check it we realized these vinyl planks were much lower quality and not what we bought- being JUST a few days away from moving into the new house. LL Flooring manager was able to replace the product on the next day and refunded the delivery fee and the labor. Thanks Lumber Liquidators!

I purchased with you already. We had a rude salesman who told us there was no discounts, but our product was in stock. So, we ordered at full price. Then we got a call from him 10 minutes later saying our product was not in stock and he would have to order it online. He still would not extend us a 5% discount which is offered online and if we had ordered it we would have gotten the discount. Product came in, my husband picked it up and had to load it himself, no help. WOW now it’s starting to get really bad. Then our transition strips never came in pushing our contractor out even further but offered us to come in and pick something close to it, this is after a month. Then once home, the product (flooring) was damaged. Called Nicole, no return for open boxes due to COVID – policy is on the door – rude and never explained anything like that to us at purchase time. No transparency only “you should have read it on the door.” So, we had to purchase more, no discount – so burned us good all the way around, also pushed our contractor out again! She, Nicole, also got smart with my husband and said at least we didn't charge you for the transition strips you picked out - WOW their error and with an attitude. NEVER ORDERING/RECOMMENDING THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE EVER.
