This barn door handle was incredibly solid and well built. Great product. The stainless steel is just lovely!! The bar handle is a large gauge that feels great in your hand. A lifetime product.

I normally do not take the time to write reviews but my experience with Real Carriage Door and Sliding Hardware was so outstanding that I feel compelled to share my experience. The company's representatives were very professional and knowledgeable about the entire product line when I placed my initial order. The material and parts arrived promptly, and my contractor was able to easily assemble and install the sliding barn door. I then decided I wanted an additional door handle and inadvertently ordered the wrong product; totally my fault. When I contacted the company, they graciously corrected my error and shipped out the door handle I needed that day. I wish I knew more people who might want sliding barn doors in their homes because I would wholeheartedly recommend Real Carriage Door and Sliding Hardware to them.

The barn door kit was perfect. It arrived promptly and exactly as described. The mechanism works beautifully and was worth every penny. There are many cheaper versions available out there, but for me it was important to get it right the first time. This hardware is sturdy, well done, and aesthetically pleasing as well.

Love the quality. I checked many sites and this one had the best quality in the finish I needed (brass). The only negative is that the site didn't tell me that the color was considered special order so after 3 weeks, I called and I was told special order takes about 4 weeks. Would have been nice to set my expectation prior to purchasing.

We recently ordered custom doors for our 87 year old house from Real Carriage Door. From the very first email Carrie made the process so easy and stress free! Our doors are absolutely beautiful. My original e-mail I sent to Carrie and Meghan....... Ladies: Thank you, but it’s really I that should be thanking you and everyone at Real Carriage Door….. I had to really think about buying these doors. It was an “over the top” additional investment when I realized I just couldn’t rebuild the old doors that were literally falling apart. My home is a 1885 “Queen Anne” Victorian house, here in Alameda, CA. I was neck deep in rebuilding the entire front porch, stairway, and all the rails and balusters. Did I mention my home is on the California Historical List, SO everything needed to be EXACTLY the same in physical dimensions as the original. It’s money, only money…….! And the entire house needed to be painted as well once the carpentry was finished – OF COURSE, RIGHT?!!! Well my neighbors and neighborhood DON’T like my carriage doors, THEY LOVE THEM!!! We get compliments from total strangers just walking by. Yes… it was a lot more than I could have spent to just install some standard 1.75” DF doors, BUT just look at them…. I do…. And I’ve never regretted spending the extra money to make the statement that they make as a new component of my Victorian. Or as my neighbors refer to me, “ You know him he’s the guy in the house with gorgeous garage doors!!!!” NOTHING more to say…. Except one thing.
