The project has been repaired and finished. It was the hardest project I worked on with my place so far, but it came out beautifully-finally when it was done. But it was months of basically everything going wrong. I don't really want to talk about this project anymore because it kinda made me not want to keep working on my house again with the amount of stress it gave me with literally everything going wrong with it so I'm going to stop my review here.

Arian Harwell is a real pro. My fence project was more complicated than expected. He was very responsive and provided excellent service. I am very happy with my fence.

We had a very good experience with Harwell Designs and Fencing. When I called to get an estimate, Arian and his assistant were on top of it with a site visit and estimate in less than 24 hours. He was always polite and always took my call/e-mail/text. We wanted a particular design and he made it work. We have the most beautiful fence in the neighborhood!

I originally discovered Harwell Design while attending a backyard barbecue at a neighbor's house. The moment I saw the plexiglass wall extension, I placed an online estimate and they got back to me the same day! Over the course of the building process, the whole crew was very kind and showed true craftsmanship, which shows in their work. I believe, without a doubt, that they are the best fencing company Southern California, in terms of prices, quality, and efficiency. I will not hesitate to call them in the future if I ever need anymore work done.

I had a dismal view from my kitchen. Past a dead and twisted tree I could see everything that took place in my alley. People taking out trash, skateboarders, construction workers. It wasn't very peaceful. Your team was great. You showed up when you said you would. You gave me options I didn't know about. I think you saved me a few thousand dollars. And now, when I look at my yard, I'm happy again. It's peaceful. I've had three people ask me who did my fence and gate. I tell them proudly. Thanks again for all your hard work.

Five points I would like to make: 1. DO NOT HIRE THIS VENDOR 2. Not only will his work be sub par, he will continue to upcharge you everyday he is on your project. he charged us thousands of dollars over our estimate because he "miss-measured. He did not do an ONSITE visit before he started ordering material 3. He didn't show up on several days and when he did it was for a couple hours at a time. I was sold on his pictures and the 'quick 5 star' reviews people give. waited weeks...then one cancelled appnt after another. 4. Now, our fence that we paid a fortune for is bubbling, peeling. The wood started peeling after one month. He blamed it on the sun. The stain was applied unevenly. Could see where touch-ups were made. HE DID SEND SOMEONE SEVERAL TIMES to try and fix it, but still the same. 5. He complained about 'the headache of our project' and that he needs to be compensated and does not guarantee his work! When called to come fix the problems, including a broken 17 foot long plank, he complained that I lived too far for them to be coming down to fix it. when he did, he offered to put wood filler. We spent over $10,000 on the two gates and we did not want wood filler to fix the problem

I found Arian through a review site and decide to give him a call due to Harwell fencing and gates great reviews. First impression was super professional. After a phone conversation and a few emails he gave me a quote for my gate just to give me an idea about his prices. Next day they came to measure and within 24hrs they had a quote for us. Arian has an amazing design sense and his craftsmanship is beyond. We actually have found notes from neighbors asking for details of who did our fence and gate. We have been so happy with the work that we book Harwell fencing and gates to come do our deck and as expected it looks flawless.

We found Harwell Fencing to be professional, easy to deal with and solution oriented. We have a large yard on a corner lot needing a complete new fence design along the entire property. Arian and his team offered us options in multiple price ranges, came up with a solution for the rounded front corner of the property and solved every issue that came up along the way, like the sloped front yard we hadn't noticed. His team worked diligently, were very respectful of our time and property and very detailed oriented. We will have them back for future backyard design help in the future.

When we interviewed vendors to build our side fences and driveway gate we were looking for someone that had to be: •Professional e.g explain scope of work needed in detail, punctual and can reliably be reached •Produced high quality work that would look good and last •Charged a reasonable price for work done We selected Arian from Harwell Fencing & Gates based on these criteria and we were very happy with the outcome. To be clear, they’ll probably not be the cheapest vendor, but you absolutely get what you pay for. They added side fences to our house, built a motorized driveway gate with a pedestrian gate, plus stained our existing deck. In the process, they used clear redwood, fill in nail holes, pre-stained wood before installing, and added 2 coats of Cabot stain (this is an expensive brand but it’s the only brand he uses because it should last about 5+ years, way more than other brands). Arian takes pride in the quality of work he does and it shows in his attention to detail and also his enthusiasm when describing his work. We highly recommend him.

I just had a fence extension built and installed by Arian. The fence is top notch, very stable, and very attractive. I couldn't be more pleased with the job. He delivered as expected, no hassles, quality work. I highly recommend him!

Arian was a pleasure to work with, stood by his estimate and produced an impeccable finished product. I would most definitely recommend Harwell Fencing and Gates - they're local, they're honest and their work speaks for itself.

Arian and his team did a great job executing our vision for a modern horizontal fence, despite some challenges with our site. They were hard workers and effective communicators. We would hire them again.
