Working With Carolyn Roberts was a dream. I let her know before going to the show room the direction I was going and when I walked in she nailed everything. Backsplash for my kitchen for my wet bar and my fireplace surround are stunning. She made this daunting task seem easy.

Yvonne Macris: a designer beyond measure. Last year, when I started on an extensive whole-house renovation/remodeling/redecorating project, I asked Rudy Brown, my builder, if he worked with a designer, as I had a decades-long accumulation of furniture, etc., and I wanted the decor of my “new” home to reflect a cohesive, beautiful, and practical style more in keeping with my lifestyle. Rudy Brown’s reputation is stellar, and when he said he worked with Yvonne Macris, I looked no further. I found Yvonne at Stinson’s Home Design Center, a virtual candy store offering an unparalleled selection of materials for flooring, counters, cabinets, windows, etc. From the outset, Yvonne listened and understood exactly what I hoped to accomplish. She clearly presented her overall strategic approach and organization to the project. Yvonne continually impresses me with her vast experience, expertise, talent, and willingness to go above and beyond my expectations. As we explored ideas, Yvonne suggested solutions, always keeping the budget in mind. She arranged for renderings of the furnished rooms to clearly show how they would look prior to making decisions on furnishings. Yvonne’s goal is to represent MY vision, and to that end she has a harmonious working relationship with my builder, ensuring that every detail coordinates with the overall design plan. Yvonne is always professional, calm and collected, and has superb communication skills. She is readily accessible for questions, discussions, meetings, follow-up and execution. Yvonne Macris is a great pleasure to know and to work with, and she has made my year-long project distinctly enjoyable.

Carolyn provided expert design combinations for our home. I brought my initial ideas to her, and she then completed a number of combinations using quartz, tile flooring, tile deco pieces, wood flooring, and paints that would coordinate well for our whole hone. Further, she offered creative ideas to add pop to certain areas, and set up a presentation that was very professional and visually pleasing for my husband. Carolyn worked in conjunction with our builders designer and sent detailed plans to keep everything organized. Her friendly personality and great integrity is priceless! Thank you Carolyn helping make our dream home so beautiful!!

Carolyn and Stinson’s was fantastic on a recent area rug installation. We had just updated our family room furniture and needed an area rug to pull it all together. The team did a great job helping us select carpet to replace what was on our stairs. The installers were very professional and tackled a hard job. Installing a carpet runner on terrazzo stairs that curve. Highly recommend!

We were working on a DIY tile table project and stopped by Stinson's Home Design Center by accident. We were actually looking for the tile manufacturer's showroom that is located in the same complex a few doors down from Stinson's. Carolyn Roberts greeted us and even though we didn't have an appointment, she made time to help us select tile for our project. She listened as we described our project and even after we told her we only needed about 50 square feet of tile, she treated us as if we were selecting tile for an entire house. She asked the right questions and was able to provided us with samples to take home so we could see how the tile would look in our home. Thanks to Carolyn's expertise and patience we were able to make a selection for our tables.
