Oriental Design Rugs was recommended to me by a design consultant at a prestigious furniture store. The large selection of high quality rugs at reasonable prices met my expectations. Truly an enjoyable experience.

My wife and I had a very good experience buying a rug from Oriental Designer Rugs. They were friendly, very helpful and gave what I think was very good design advice. What really blew us away is that they let us take several rugs home, prior to purchase, to make sure that our final selection would work with our overall decor. We recommend them highly!

This is the best place to go with a huge selection! I bought two large area rugs. Vineet and staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and provided personal attention. You just tell them the size and they can put something together for you that works in the right style/pattern and price range. They also took my old rugs no problem!

We had several of our Oriental rugs cleaned along with our large family room rug cleaned and one corner repaired. We've had these rugs about 25 years now. The rugs came back looking great and the repair was excellent. We are very happy and will use them again.

Three weeks ago I brought into Oriental Designer Rugs (ODR) my 8 by 5 oriental rug for cleaning and to repair the ends of the rug, which had become frayed. They deeply cleaned the rug and did an amazing job to repair the two ends of the rug. When I picked up the rug I was so impressed with the work Oriental Designers did. I have received numerous compliments on my rug and how it looks in my home. I would recommend ODR without reservation for your oriental rug cleaning and repairs.

The service was excellent. I had an idea of what I wanted, and Shahn was very patient in showing me all my choices. He offered to take down the rugs and let me see them on the floor. Once I made my selection, he was able to deliver it on the same day. We used Oriental Designer Rugs to deep clean a hand-knotted wool rug that we purchased second hand. They also repaired one of the sides that was ripped and fraying. The rug looks amazing now and you can't even tell where it was repaired. We will definitely use them again! They also have a large selection of beautiful rugs, both hand-knotted and machine made. My oriental rug was in awful condition due to my nephew's cat. The cat dug a hole and peed on it. I was hoping that the rug was salvageable. I drove from Colorado, where we now live, to my hometown of Atlanta to visit family. Having unsuccessfully (and frustratingly) shopped around the Denver area for rugs, one of my goals while in ATL was to find several rugs for our Colorado home that we had completely remodeled / refurbished. My experience at ODR was DELIGHTFUL. Shahn greeting me upon entering their clean and well stocked showroom. I explained what I was looking for. Shahn listened to me, asked a few questions and then, along with the very helpful and friendly staff, preceded to show me options. Shahn is extremely knowledgeable about rugs of all makes, styles, and types…and (thank heavens!) very familiar with their inventory. I left with two beautiful rugs with which I am over the moon. After having looked at HUNDREDS of rugs both in Denver and several other places in Atlanta — I can honestly say ODR has the BEST inventory for both handmade and machine made rugs. But what made ODR stand out was the helpfulness and service of their knowledgeable and friendly staff. If I’d had the room in my car, I likely would have purchased a few more pieces and FOUND a place to put them in our home. Make ODR your first stop if you are looking for an area rug for your home. The moment I entered the Oriental Designer Rugs store, I was immediately greeted by Vineet. We had exchanged several emails prior to my visit, and Vineet was quick to respond each time with helpful information. On this day, I was impressed with his knowledge regarding the variety of carpets and their origins, his professionalism, and thoughtful suggestions. This is a family run business going back 3 generations. It was obvious that Vineet takes pride in his store. He definitely represents his family business well. He provided me with honest advice regarding my worn Turkish rug. I decided to only have the Persian rug restored, While browsing throughout their collection, I spotted a small area rug "which called my name", so gorgeous. It was a real find for me. This store offers many rug choices along with cleaning and restoration services. My Persian rug arrived yesterday, and I was amazed at its transformation. It looked brand new! So glad I stumbled into this gem of a store. The services, rug selections, and sales folks are among the best I have encountered. I plan to shop here again whenever I need a restoration or another rug.

EXCELLENT WORK! Our heavy large heirloom Oriental rug hadn’t been cleaned since being passed down to us 25 years ago. It ended up rolled in the garage due to it’s look but Oriental Designer Rugs brought it back to life! In a fairly quick turn around time (2-3 wks) the cleaned rug’s colors looks vibrant, the tassels are gleaming, it looks like a brand new rug. The living room now has had a facelift. Only criticism would be we had to call and ask if it was ready. Would absolutely recommend to others.

Purchased two rugs in March 2022 from Oriental Designer Rugs, ("ODR") located in Atlanta, Georgia. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. ODR allowed me to take both rugs home on a trial basis to see how the rugs looked with my existing décor. I also purchased a rug pad through ODR and they cut the rug pad sized to fit my new rug. I am very pleased with the quality, service and selection offered by Oriental Designer Rugs and would highly recommend them.

I had five rugs cleaned by Oriental Designer Rugs. Several rugs needed the fringes to be repaired and one rug had many dog pee stains and needed the backing replaced. The repairs and the cleaning were wonderful. The staff is professional and extremely efficient . The prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this company.

I had a terrific experience with Shahn and Oriental Designer Rugs! The very first thing I did was go online several times to familiarize myself with the inventory. After checking out the inventory numerous times I visited the store and was able to visually and physically see and touch the rugs. Shahn and the employees at ODR were terrific and very helpful. Furthermore, Shahn made terrific suggestions about purchasing a rug and shipping it to my home since I wasn't able to take it with me. I had been searching for a foyer rug for over two months until I found Oriental Designer Rugs. I reviewed their website which was very helpful. Following the website review I visited their warehouse on Collier. I was very pleased with the vast selection and the great service provided by all the staff. Oriental Designer Rugs did an excellent job in cleaning, repairing and restoring our Persian rugs. Our rugs are over 60 years old and Oriental Designer Rugs brought them back to life. They responded promptly to our email inquiry as to what services they would offer and the cost. We had seven rugs all requiring some level of repair. They all got new haircuts (fringe trimmed and bound) and their colors livened. We highly recommend Oriental Designer Rugs if you have any antique valuable Persian rugs to be restored.

We live in Orlando and had an excellent experience buying our oriental wool stair runner rug from OrientalDesignerrug in Atlanta. I dropped in their store while visiting my daughter and never shopped any other stores for comparison etc. Veneet took the time to walked me thru the various style, quality and price points, to help me decide what was best for my need. Everything was delivered on time as promised. We hired a local installer that took his time to ensure all the cuts was in the right places to keep a nice matching design flow.

Oriental Designer Rugs did a wonderful job of repairing and restoring our Serapi rug. It is 45 years old and was well worn. They cleaned it, repaired the fringe, and bound the edges. They also touched-up the color in several areas. It looks amazing - almost like new! We also purchased a rug pad, which gives it a bit of a cushion. It was well worth the 60 mile trip to bring it to Atlanta! We will be back with another rug soon. They were very nice people to deal with - and have a beautiful show room. Thank you!

Had so many holes from pet damage in my rug they called it “The Golf Course”! Could not be happier with the repairs! Would recommend to everybody!

Oriental Designer Rugs should teach other businesses how to do excellent customer service! I wanted to install carpet runners on 2 sets of straight stairs with 16 steps each. I wanted matching rugs for the base of each staircase. I was thrilled to find Oriental Designer Rugs here in Atlanta could do this type of work. I found the pattern I wanted on their site and called them. I was pleased and surprised a person answered, and I didn't need to leave voice mail. Within 2 hours, we had a few calls back and forth as I took measurements and sent pictures, and Vineet confirmed availability of the carpet and sent me the paperwork. He gave me an estimated installation date for 2 weeks later. ODR called me ahead of the installer so I would expect his call. ODR's installer Max called to confirm the date and showed up on that day to do the work. Max only needed about 3 hours to perfectly install both sets of my gorgeous runners! The runners came with pads, and this carpet has added so much beauty, comfort, and functionality to our stairs. Our little dog had been slipping on the wood stairs and didn't want to use them. Due to the new runners, he now traverses the stairs with ease. I also appreciate that the runners have made the stairs more quiet. Vineet is professional and I have the highest confidence in his work. I brought in a carpet which belonged to my great grandparents, and he gave me what I think is a fair appraisal - $6,000. Because of the appraisal I was able to sell the rug to another family member who wanted it, and I'm happy with how things went. It's satisfying for me to know all the information about the carpet - I found out it's a Persian Sarouk made in the 1930's which I suspected but now it's confirmed. I was able to arrange having the carpet repaired, cleaned and shipped in a very convenient fashion. Also, Shahn was very helpful and showed us some beautiful machine made rugs we can use to occupy the space where the original Persian Sarouk carpet was. ODR has a great selection of all kinds of rugs and carpets, and we're happy with the whole experience.

It's been several years since the cleaning and we noticed that there was an increasing amount of little threads coming up all over the rug. I called Sean and talked to him about it. He came to our house quickly and looked at it and agreed to take it back to their workroom and work on it for free. They had it for 2 weeks and recently brought it back looking beautiful. I’ve purchased six (6) of their rugs in various sizes and will purchase more because this store is the only one that had what I was looking for. I bought two absolutely beautiful rugs from this place. One was for my bedroom and the other for my kitchen table. I am so very happy with the rugs; they are stunning. Customer service was very friendly and they listened to what I was looking for and showed me several options. I have shared my photo of the rug in my bedroom. Hmmm, I found Oriental designer rugs on line I saw from the website they had a healthy selection of rugs to choose from. Once I got there I was greeted by Vineet, the owners son. What a genuinely nice guy. After reviewing pics of the room and the furniture that was going in that room. Vineet said follow me I think I may have the perfect rug for you. After Watching him tear throught mountains of rugs he said what do you think about this one. OMG we are still getting compliments on the rug in that room. We had two very expensive carpets from a previous home and it was a hard decision to cut them to fit our new home. Vineet was very informative, helpful, and patient as we worked through the decision process, explaining options and costs. The hand binding on the newly cut rugs turned out great and we're very pleased. I'm torn about the new fringe - I wish the new fringe more closely resembled the old fringe (not so much "thickness of the threads, because that will work itself out, but more the finishing of each "tassle"). Overall, though, very pleased and would not hesitate to contact Vineet again for a rug!

The entire process was simple and the quality of their work and service lived up to other reviews we saw when trying to find a reputable company to clean our 8' x 10', custom-made, wool rug. We needed a company that could thoroughly clean a rug that had pet urine (cat specifically) that had been embedded into the rug and pad. We were very, very pleased with both the quality of the work done for us by Oriental Designer Rugs and the price they charged. We sent them 5 rugs, including our old Serapi rug, almost in rags, and after it was cleaned and repaired we've decided to display it in our living room instead of having to hide it halfway under a bed. They were conservative in their recommendations, with no pressure to do more was warranted, and they were mindful of preserving the design and integrity of the rugs even though several had to be re-fringed. We will certainly use them again and can highly recommend them to you.

You want to buy rugs without paying authentic prices for rugs that look the same. My rug expense buying the beautiful machine made rugs from Oriental Designer Rugs, even the cost of the machine made rugs was discounted, was 15 percent of other shops but the visual quality is equal. The two rugs I bought have made a loud beautiful substantive statement about who I am just with the look of my office. Everybody from management to the delivery people were trying to discern and meet your needs at prices where you feel like you’re stealing the rugs. I had a large rug from a bigger home. They cut it to size remade the boarder and created an entry rug from some of the extra. It all turned out better than I expected. They were priced fair and did all the work in the time promised!!

It was a pleasure doing business with Oriental Designer. They had the equivalent of a Rya rug that I have been searching for more than a year. Their price was fair and delivery was on time. Because I was on a mission, I did not look at their substantial inventory of rugs in the store. What you'll see on web page understates the beauty of their offerings. Warning-the number system on their street is crazy, they are located at the end of the street.

I used ODR to clean two rugs of mine recently and what a fantastic job they did. the two gentlemen who came to my home were exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. They removed the rugs with care and returned them in the same way. They look like new -- beautiful. We finally decided to have our 20 year old oriental rugs cleaned since our efforts with rental methods did not suffice. We contacted Shahn who arranged for the rugs to be taken to their facility. They were cleaned and returned as scheduled. The amazing thing is that we thought the rugs were just moderately dirty, YIKES were we wrong. The result is amazing and they seem better than new. We won't need new ones but after visiting the vast selection in their huge store we know where we would go.

We have several oriental rugs that needed cleaned, repaired, and appraised. I have enjoyed working with this family owned business from the very start. They came out and went over each rug in detail, rolled them all up and took them back to their warehouse to begin work. As scheduled, I went to their warehouse to look at each rug a couple weeks later. The warehouse is very nice and they have a great selection and display of other orientals for anyone looking for a special piece. All our rugs were laid out so we could see the repairs and look at each rug while going over the appraisal in detail. They all look amazing and I am extremely pleased with the results. The home is now under remodel so the rugs needed to be stored and I was able to work through the logistics and store the rugs until we are ready for delivery. The rugs we have collected over a lifetime mean a great deal to the family so I feel very fortunate to have found this company to trust and help us keep them looking great for many more years to come.

We had an oriental rug that had been torn on the side and the fringe was uneven. We have had the rug for many years and it had never been cleaned. They picked it up, repaired it perfectly, cleaned it, and then delivered it to our new home. Once here, they carefully placed it where we wanted it, pointing out the nap and helping us to decide which way it should be faced. Could not have been more pleased. Benny and Vinnet are wonderful. Both are so knowledgeable and customer focused. I first contacted Benny with a fringe stain problem on my 20 year old plus Persian rug. I had taken my rug to couple of other Oriental rug specialist to discuss the staining that had appeared on my fringe over the years and see if the area could be cleaned and/or made to look better. No one wanted to touch the fringe and had absolutely no suggestions for how to improve how the fringe looked. After purchasing a couple of rugs from Oriental Designer Rugs in the last five years and getting ready to reuse the stained rug in a new home we had just purchased, I decided to call ODRs and got Benny. We discussed the staining problem at length and he gave me the confidence that they would help me and for me to bring the rug in for them to look at. Vinnet was working the day we brought the rug in and he spent much time evaluating the rug and discussing with me in detail cleaning and repairing options noting areas of the fringe that were stained and that had some deteriorated. We agreed on how to move forward based on his recommendations while informing me that his cleaner and repair person would have to look at the rug to confirm that what we had agreed to do was possible. Vinnet also told me if anything changed based on the cleaner and repair person's assessment, he would contact me. Several days later that is exactly what he did. He discussed with me why and how we should adjust what we had previously discussed and proceed with a different cleaning and repair option to get the rug ready for its new home. (What he recommended based on the final rug assessment was actually less expensive than the original estimate he gave me when I brought the rug in - difference process, less work, less money!) I agreed and a week later I got a call from Vinnet that my rug was ready. I asked him if he was happy with how it looked and he said yes but that I would have to judge for myself. Well I picked it up and I was thrilled. Based on the original condition of the fringe when I left my rug, the fringe almost looked as if it was new! I would certainly recommend Oriental Designer Rug to anyone who wants to purchase or have an already purchased valuable rug cared for. This family ready understands customer service and goes way beyond what we see as good customer service and fair pricing anymore.

They requested pictures of the damage and thoroughly explained the repair process, risks, cost and so forth. I was extremely relieved to have contacted someone who was obviously as concerned as I was about my rug. They gave me an approximate completion time, (which they met), and asked me to let them know when my rug would be arriving to be sure it got to them safely. Upon completion of the repairs, they sent me pictures of the repairs. I was thrilled at the results! I received my rug today and couldn't be more pleased. Their craftsmanship is superb! I highly recommend Oriental Designer Rugs.

Vineet Golchha was very professional and super helpful. He and his staff brought 10 rugs to my house to test within hours of seeing them at the store. There is a great selection of rugs at the store and the prices are very reasonable for the high quality of the rugs. I will definitely be purchasing more rugs from this venue.
