*Authorized Dealer of Shaw Floors* It began with two friends who decided to venture out and start their own business doing what had brought them together as friends – working in the flooring industry. In March of 1964, Richard Fink and Calvin Ford started F&F Floor Covering & Carpet as a partnership, working out of Decatur installing carpet, vinyl and hardwood. After years of hard work, in 1987 they were able to purchase a store front in McDonough, Georgia, and a showroom was set up where customers could come and shop for their flooring. Calvin and Richard were now running their business from 45 Griffin Street just off the Square in Downtown McDonough. Shortly thereafter, 1991, they were incorporated and continued building their business with hard work, quality installations and fair pricing. From sells to the installation, family had always been an important factor in the business and still is today. There have been times of overflow and there have been times of struggle, but together they were determined to build a business that was centered on the customer, business integrity and respect for one another. A friendship that had grown into a business had grown into something much, much more.
