My name is Jan Szeneri, and I started Abed's Flooring in February of 1992. Most of my family is involved, or has been involved in the hardwood flooring industry since the mid 1970's. After working for my brother's company throughout my youth, and fulfilling a variety of positions, from apprentice to superintendant, I started my own company in 1992. It was my desire to leave large companies behind and do all my own work, where I could practice my craft in every aspect of the job. Owning my own company, and being the primary craftsman on each job has allowed me to keep a high standard, as well as a fair price. I Specialize in all aspects of hardwood flooring, including installation, custom mill work, sanding and refinishing, staircases, hand distressing, stain matching and natural stains, border work, trouble shooting or inspection as well as repair work for all types of wood flooring. I have done work for all the major wood floor manufacturers, including Kahrs, Tarkett, Mannington, Teragren Bamboo, Urban Floor and Anderson. While I specialize in custom hardwood floors, I work with every kind of wood flooring available, even some laminate.....(does your laminate installer use T-molds or does he make custom transition pieces?).
