We asked Vicky to upholster an old chair for us and we were really thrilled with the results. It looks great.

My mother gave me a Cintique chair that she bought when she married in 1958. It needed re-upholstering and I found Vicky on Facebook. It was a pleasure to work with Vicky. She enjoys the process of helping you choose your fabric. She listens and responds to your taste, and will also gently steer you away from potential mistakes! I took ages over the decision and she was very patient! Her work is lovely. As well as being a great craftswoman, she also has great respect for the original object. For example, she re-attached the original Cintique label under the seat and re-used the leather thingummys that the buttons were attached to through the seat-back. I am very pleased with the result.

We approached Vicky to seek advice on re-covering a casual chair. Vicky was terrific. She advised on materials, their comparative pro's and con's and helped us make our choice. Vicky then gave a clear cost quote and timeline. The re-covered chair was completed on time and on budget - and it looks great! Everything we could have asked ( and, sadly, rarely expect). Well done Vicky, and thank you. We'll be back!

It is so easy to have high expectations in this world, but sometimes you have to appreciate the level of detail, meticulous planning and patience that goes into creating sheer brilliance on a scale I’ve never seen before. Vicky is a joy to work with, providing effective product guidance, enthusiasm and having excellent communication skills. She goes that extra step that ensures client satisfaction. Considering the finish product that Vicky has created, I would have no hesitation in recommending her professional abilities to others. She’s not cheap, but creating a masterpiece never is!
