Klutter Free Me, Inc.

The Positives: -Christine is incredibly friendly and hard working. -She should probably be a body builder because although she is small, she hauls things that you wouldn't expect a grown man to lift and does so tirelessly. -She clearly cares about her costumers and wants to make people happy. -She does not seem money driving (in the con section I'll explain why I think her prices are bit off) but she doesn't seem motivated by making a whole bunch of money which is refreshing. -She was very sensitive when going through my mother's items (my mother died when I was little and we had a lot of her stuff that we hadn't touched). I really did appreciate her empathy. The Negatives: -The pricing does not make a whole lot of sense. I'm not saying that she overcharges per say, I'm saying that it just doesn't make sense, it took me a long time to pin down why she charged what she did, and that was only after the job was done and she got her office manager to break it down. -There was a lot of arguing between her and her team which was a bit jarring at times. -Her or someone on her crew either threw away/misplaced/took boxes of valuable items that were not meant to be moved (this was stressed numerous times). She came back to locate some of the times but the most pressing item (the box with my jewelry) has still not been located. The full story: I hired Christina and her team back in August to help prepare my house for a gut renovation. We have some space in the basement which isn't being renovated so we were using it as storage. Christina and her team were great with packing our items up and placing them carefully downstairs. The only issue off the bat is that the gentleman working with her didn't always follow directions. For example, Christina scolded one of her team mates for throwing an expensive air pump into the dumpster (and jumped in to get it out). So while Christine is very diligent, there were times when her team weren't. In fact, her and the older gentlemen on her team were constantly arguing about the way things were being done, which is fine but it does highlight that their is some disorganization among the team. The initial clean out was done very well. The last day of the package was to take place in September, when I would be away at school. Christine and her team were to come back and move a few pieces of furniture and finish clearing out the two guest rooms. I had made it super clear that my room was to be left alone as I would be coming back in October to get the rest of my stuff (I didn't want to put my valuables in storage because there would be so many people coming in and out of the house). I also needed to sleep in my room when I came back (before the renovation would start inside). When Christine came, she asked my father what in my room should be moved. My father instructed her that he didn't know and she should call me. I had previously told my father to remind Christine that my room was done, which he admits to forgetting to do, HOWEVER Christine claims that he instructed them to move my stuff to the basement which he firmly denies. When I realized my items had been moved I texted her and explained that if my father had told her to move my items he was mistaken. She offered to come back and replace my items, which she did do, however the boxes of valuables were still missing. When I came home and couldn't find them, I texted her again. Admittedly, I was probably more emotionally than need be, but a lot of the jewelry that was missing had belonged to my mother, so it was very sentimental. Christine had her office manager call me and once again claim that they were following my father's instructions. When I pushed back she continued to tell me that my items were in the basement. I told her that I would look but if I could not find them she either needed to find them herself, replace the value, or I'd fill a BBB report. After several days of searching I contacted her again and upon no response I filled a BBB claim, seeking "repair" not money. I simply wanted my items back. Her response was to once again accuse my father of giving instructions to move the items (my father does not even enter my room and he firmly denied giving her any instructions and was enraged at the accusations). Her response to the BBB started as followed "Christina Green and her father are very disorganized and live in complete chaos. I have pictures of how the home was cluttered, disorganized, and dirty." Not only was her response not relevant to the situation at hand (missing boxes CLEARY marked do not touch), but it is completely unprofessional as "chaotic" and disorganized when her very business is organization. Also, we were in the middle of a home renovation, emptying out twenty years of storage...of course things were going to be in disarray. I will end by saying I don't thinks Christine typically misplaces items, although there were several times her team almost threw away items right in front of me after me giving them instructions not to. Accidents happen, I understand that, but Christine not fixing her mistake is were my problem is. I have attached pictures of the "chaos" as you can see, things are in disarray but is very clear that someone is planning to MOVE. We were in the process of throwing things out and sorting through things and again, the state of my house has NOTHING to do with her moving boxes clearly marked "Don't move" and being told in front of several people not to move anything in the area she moved them from.
