I just wanted to let people know how much better things have been around here since I started de-cluttering with Helen The kit really helps and is easy to use. I also had one-to one help over a few months. Helen is the consumate professional, never judgemental but always supportive. This attitude helps you to find your way through the maze of reasons you have got to this, in my case, parlous state of affairs. Having help has made me tackle a task I never thought would be possible and I cannot sing the praises of this kit too highly. Everyone around me has been amazed at the results. I’m not done yet but I am on the home stretch of my initial de-clutter! 55 years of married life collects a lot of detritus!! Even though I have not finished, the way I feel so much more calm and sleep better every night is wonderful. I think I will always be de-cluttering as I now realise that it builds up everyday (and especially at Christmas!) I had recently moved and am a single mum of a 3 year old and 1 year old, I had got to a point where I just couldn’t reach my end goal. Helen came in and from the very beginning was extremely positive and confident that I was capable of getting to where I needed to be. Helen was such a support during this time and the time spent with her was extremely worth while. Helen also provided extensive introductions to help me and I can not recommend her highly enough.

I hate decluttering and have put it off for years and years. I’m a musician my studio is full of things “I might again need one day”. Not to mention other bits of stuff that shouldn’t have really found their way in here. I was initially reluctant to use the Home Declutter Kit it has to be said, however something had to be done, so I dived in. I liked the fact it was systematic and it really helped guide my thought processes. It took a whole weekend and my studio is transformed. I feel so much lighter and happier in there. I didn’t realise how much “my stuff” was weighing me down. Plus my wife is much happier with me!

Ministry of Calm is very well named! Helen has a presence and a system that took me from disorganised chaos to having an organised, calm space to live in. Helen does SO much more than decluttering. She lead me calmly and firmly through the process of letting go of things I don't need and then designed my space so that it is a pleasure to be in. The Home Declutter Kit is a powerful system that I am still using every time I accumulate more clutter. I go through the process and I can feel Helen's calming presence as I do it. I was referred to Helen by another declutterer. As soon as her webpage loaded, I knew I was on to a winner. The first consultation had me in tears as I was confronted by my lifelong aversion to dealing with homelife. The clothes, the dirt, the overgrown garden and worst of all, the inherited possessions and habits of my parents. Nothing was discarded without my consent and although those calculators from 1998 may still have, one day, served the neighbours' kids, the charity shop was happy to take them and have them serve people in need today. Hundreds of other items have followed suit. We've now cleared four rooms and a garden together and her influence has slowly seaped into the day to day management of my space. This work is not cheap, I could have bought a fleet of cheap mini-cabs for the price of this work; but if ever you left a great movie, a positive therapy session, or relaxing massage only to arrive home and feel the disappointment of your day to day reality, imagine what it would be like to spend a day or two integrating that feeling of satisfaction and peace into your homelife so that it didn't just drift away hour by hour. That is the work that Helen does daily with people like me. This is a chance to invest in yourself and subsequently in your family and social life. Despite my dissassociative tendencies, deep down I know my life is richer for the company of my loved ones, as awkward as this can be. The heart of this home is beating again and I have Helen to thank for reanimating it!!

Helen Sanderson of Calm from Clutter transformed three rooms in my house in East Finchley from mess to Yesss! I worked and dressed in one room, one was used as a spare room come dumping ground, and one was ostensibly a music room, but in reality contained flotsam and jetsam including suitcases, unused foam tiles and a ukelele. Helen's creative flair and calm manner has completely changed the spaces and uses of these rooms. Now where once was a mish mash of clothes, papers and files there is a boudoir, the spare room is now an elegant office and the music room is a visitor's room with a musician's corner. All the spaces work efficiently and beautifully, and nothing had to be spent on new furniture or furnishings. All that was needed was Helen's imaginative and watchful eye and a couple of burly blokes to move things around. There was the small matter of duplicate Agatha Christies and 1000 plectrums, but with her encouragement, I have now divested myself of these. I am now living in an beautiful, ordered space where I can work and dress in peace and harmony.

I want to record just how wonderful it is to work with Calm from Clutter! Helen Sanderson has a unique and awesome way of bringing a sense of calm and even fun to tasks that could be an absolute nightmare. She's helped me create a perfect space for my work essentials and has somehow made me feel enthusiastic about continuing with my de-cluttering program. Definitely a force to be reckoned with and a fabulous person to work with! Helen came to my home in Crouch End to help me with some corners that were a bit stuck. I am so thankful for the sessions, they really did start quite a significant transformation process for me at a deep level. Also on a daily basis life seems a lot more simple. It does not take me quite so long to tidy up after I created a bit of a mess of activity, and I can now easily find the paperwork that I require. The clutter/mess and lack of organisation I had previously was weighing really heavily on my shoulders, I now feel a lot lighter and have more clarity. I am also far more mindful of acquiring new things and not 'hoarding' what is no longer useful to me. I could not have achieved this without your gentle but firm coaxing and sensitivity to my process. I would highly recommend Helen.

I found my session with Helen really inspirational and helpful. Inspirational because it got both my hubbie and I doing other stuff around the house as a result of Helen's visit and helpful because I learnt things about touring stuff in a slightly different, more useful way. A really useful thing to do. Highly recommend.

Helen is wonderful, wise and caring. She helped me make some amazing changes to my home. My living room and office were quite cluttered with stuff, some of which I was really struggling to let go of. Both rooms felt very stale and stuck. Helen came in with great energy and organisation and we made really fast progress. After we'd finished our work the energy of the space was really lifted and I felt a surge of positivity. Would highly recommend her to anyone ready to make a positive change in their home and their life.
