To address your response, to ours listed below, we are only trying to give you the opportunity to see how we try our absolute best to be transparent to our clients and in no way is this meant to come off as blame.
Furthermore, the instructions you referenced were not for the columns ordered, what I had thought, and why I had sent them to you in the initial reply to your emailed concern received here on Houzz.
We will examine your product and pictures received via email back and respond accordingly.
Again, I am unsure why after you sent us the above via email and we responded you have chosen to review us here in this manner and on other social channels without giving us the opportunity to assist you in addressing your concerns and fixing your product and project? Nevertheless, as per our emailed response, copied below, we need the following to assist you further.
Thank you for your recent purchase and taking the time to email us here on Houzz. The columns are pre-packaged and are always supplied with instructions in the box so I am unsure what could have happened to both of yours. We would have been happy to mail or email these instructions to you but were not notified there was anything missing or wrong with the order.
As you discovered we do keep our instructions online with as many details and images to make it as easy as possible for our clients to assemble.
Product page: https://www.elitetrimworks.com/Traditional-Square-Column.
Main how to page:
Shaft assembly instructions: https://www.elitetrimworks.com/Shaft-Assembly-Instructions.html
As you can see we show the images of the column sides and shafts and describe this detail as well throughout:
"The shaft is made up of four panels; they each have a lock mitre joint on each end. The four panels to fit into place and allows more surface area
for the glue to hold. "
"The shaft is made up of four MDF un-primed sides that go together using lock mitre joints for easy assembly. They are unassembled so that they can be used to wrap a jack post, lolly post or an existing support. We provide all the trims shown (pre-cut)."
There is no reason however, your sides would not fit accordingly when instructions are properly followed. If you can please email your concerns and pictures showing the issue we are more than happy to see where we can help and what can be done to fix this.
Please email email@example.com with the above and we look forward to working with you to find the best resolution to your issue at hand.
Once again thank you and we look forward to working with you to finish your project!
Have a great day!
