Resthouse Sleep Solutions was founded by Chris Manley and Dawn Howlett at the end of 2013. We desired quality organic products for our home, but we found they weren’t that readily available. We offer quality organic rubber tree latex and wool sleep products, including mattresses, pillows, linens and duvets. We also carry support materials for those looking to understand how to improve their sleep issues, including books, guided sleep meditations and relaxation tools. Chris has over 20 years experience in the mattress industry, and Dawn worked behind the scenes at Banyen Books for 23 years. Our experience told us that people weren’t getting the help they needed to solve their sleep issues. We seek to provide information and quality products to address these issues, all under one roof. Our Purpose Our desire is to use our work experience and skills to help people. To incorporate our belief in respectful listening and transparent communication. To help folks find what they need in a relaxed and peaceful environment. To offer quality solutions that are also not harmful to the health of people or the environment. We want to take the guess work out of purchasing organic products by only pairing with properly certified companies that have parallel values and purpose. All of our products meet stringent guidelines of the top environmental agencies including GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), B Corporation, GreenGuard, Green America; to name a few. We’ve had countless people say to us that they just aren’t good sleepers, as though there is no solution. We want to make it easy for people to sleep. We ask a lot of questions and have a lot of options to share.
