Tom and his team were incredibly professional and helpful throughout our design and renovation project. We had a pretty big project and Tom and his team managed it well. We gutted and renovated 4 bathrooms, tore up all the floors and put new hardwoods in, replaced all window casings, crown mouldings and baseboards. Turned a bedroom into a laundry room and a walk in closet. We redesigned two fireplaces, repainted the entire house, gutted an office area and made it into a dry bar and walk in pantry. Tom and his team were very respectful and we are so happy and impressed with the quality of the work. Tom was very responsive and helpful whenever we needed him. The project took about 6 months and Tom and his team set proper expectations throughout the process. We have and will continue to refer Thomas J Remodeling!

We fired our original contractor and brought Tom in to complete a siding project. He literally saved the day, responsive and thorough. The work exceeded my expectations. Tom is really pleasant to work with. His subs are equally great, they showed and worked hard and fast without compromise.

He manages the project and his team well and in a timely fashion. Tom has a creative design eye that he applies to all of his work, down to the most minute detail. He gave me his honest opinion when I had design questions, and I soon learned that I could trust his taste and expertise indefinitely. It's true, you pay for this level of attention to detail and high quality craftsmanship. But it is worth it. It's so worth it. Do not waste your time and money on a cheaper outfit that will do the least for the least amount. If it's worth doing, it's worth doing well. And that is what I value so much about Thomas J. Well, it was a long road, but that wasn’t Tom’s fault. I live in a converted church with a fieldstone foundation, that is partially below grade. Soon after moving in I noticed mold, and then water damage followed. I called so many contractors, companies who specifically deal with water in basements, etc - if I could get a call back, that was a miracle. If I did get a call back, literally no one would even take the time to come take a look at my problem. My issue was clearly more than most people wanted to take on. I found Tom, and he obviously had great reviews. He called me back within 24 hours, and didn’t even flinch about coming to do a site visit. He showed up, developed a game plan, with the caveat that we wouldn’t 100% know what we were dealing with until the walls were opened. Totally understandable. I signed on the dotted line and the work began almost immediately. My walls came down, a bathroom was gutted, floors torn out - and what do you know. I had water absolutely pouring

We had the pleasure of working with Thomas J. Remodeling on the renovation of the first floor of our home which included structural work, a complete kitchen remodel, woodwork requiring fine carpentry, the design and creation of a custom floor-to-ceiling display cabinet, and additional handyman work including masonry and bathroom grouting. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results. From day one, Thomas J implemented a system of communication that ensured all were on the same page, decisions made in a timely manner and the project managed effectively. We also had frequent in-person meetings to touch base and discuss any issues that arose. The tradesmen (carpenters, plumber) were talented with a real eye for detail. Working with Tom, our project manager Joey, and the crew was a very different experience than we’ve had in the past with other contractors. Although all home renovations create challenges, we feel that we worked very effectively with them as a team. Simply the best!

Tom and his crew were great! We have a small ranch, and it had been probably 35 years since the kitchen was remodeled. We wanted to have a load-bearing wall removed between the living room and the kitchen, in order to open up the space. The kitchen was gutted to the studs and subfloor. We needed a beam installed to replace the wall. We had the old windows removed and new windows installed. We stayed in the house without a working kitchen or living room while the job was done. Tom and his crew made what could have been a very stressful situation pretty painless. All the people who worked in the house were professional, courteous, careful, and cleaned up after themselves. They took the time to make sure things were done right. Tom was great about keeping us informed about the process - who would be coming each day and what they would be doing.
