The job was was adequate. Seems like most of the work had to be done twice before they got it to work properly. The cabinet under my sink had three holes in it before they could get the pipes installed. To fix they put a piece of plywood on the back of cabinet, but I had to complain before that was done. My fireplace mantle, the first time installed was leaning toward the floor. It was redone and is now level, but really. I specifically requested they don't paint my door hinges, but they did. They fixed that problem too. The glass for the shower took three times before it is ok. The first time the glass didn't fit, it was too large. The second install the door ( The top door hinge was about 1/2 inch closer to the edge than the bottom door hinge ) This is only some of the problems we ran into. The Remodelista also told me when I chased her down after visiting the foreman, that the best way to contact her is text. If she is at my house why would she not check with me that all is ok or if I am having any problems. Would never use her again.

I used the Remodelista Teri Gilberg And her team last year in October/November 2020 to do a full remodel of my master bathroom and change countertop, floors and vanity in my half bathroom and they did an amazing job. After the Texas freeze now March 2021 I have hired her again due to my pipes bursting in my home. Her team once again did a beautiful job in my bathroom and redid the floors removing carpet and putting tile. Teri and her crew are very trustworthy, they clean up after themselves every day before they leave they are very safe around your belongings, they come in the morning and they work throughout the whole day to get your job done as quickly as possible. Teri is there for you to answer any of your questions and help you with design and color ideas. I once again would recommend The Remodelista for any of your home remodeling projects.

We would not recommend you hire The Remodelista to remodel your kitchen. They were vague on what was or was not included in the job. They did not follow instructions and appeared to build what they wanted to build and not what you wanted resulting in having to redo design and stain color. We feel that our kitchen sink was not properly installed per the manufacturer's recommendations. The granite countertops design is not uniform nor polished with cracks that are caulking. Ugly and unacceptable. They left behind damaged wallpaper, damaged wood floors, 2 holes in the ceiling, varnish and stain on the ceiling and a warped cabinet door. A poor but expensive job that will have to be redone.

I used The Remodelista Teri and her team to remodel both of my bathrooms. I am beyond pleased with everyone who worked on this project. Her team was always on time, very trustworthy and always cleaned up after themselves. Teri Was in constant contact with me on a daily basis and is very professional and caring. If my visions did not look good they helped me change things around to make my bathroom beautiful. I would recommend using Teri and her team for any remodeling projects you have in your home. After meeting with Teri, the (ReModelista), and sharing with her my dream master bathroom that had been in my mind for 10 years, we knew she was the one we wanted to work with. Teri listened and made notes, took some measurements, and said she would send me her bid for our project. As soon as we received it we were ready to go. We chose everything we wanted for our bathroom and the outcome was beautiful. The work was always ongoing, there was progress every day, Teri texted me daily with updates. The master bathroom was supposed to take three weeks, by the end of week two we were so happy with what we were seeing that we asked Teri to remodel our smaller bathroom also. The total job of both bathrooms was five weeks. The guys doing the work were very respectful of our house, and they kept a wide paper path to keep our floors from getting too dirty. They always cleaned up at the end of the day. When we are ready to remodel our kitchen Teri will definitely be our contractor.

Teri and her team did an outstanding job remodeling my kitchen. From the first consultation to the last piece of detail they took care of everything. They were all professional, courteous and very easy to work with. Teri understood exactly what I wanted and exceeded my expectations building out my vision.

I had a bad experience with Teri and do not recommend her to others. I hired her to do a job after she was recommended by my designer. She came to my house with another contractor and I noticed he seemed to be taking the lead. I soon found out after the job was started that she had sold the job to that other contractor and she was no longer involved with the project. What compounded the situation was that she tried to deceive the design firm by saying she worked with the other contractor and she was still in charge. This was false as I was paying and dealing with the other contractor directly after the initial meeting. The project ran behind and we had to keep a close eye on the project to correct the many mistakes along the way. In the end we were happy with the result of the other contractors work, but it was a long painful process that my designers were shocked happened.

Fabulous work! Turned our dreams on paper into reality. Her crew is top notch; she is there for you throughout the process, is patient and very professional. They get the job done on time and within the specified budget. If there is a problem, they come back and make it right. She renovated two of our bathrooms beautifully. They keep tarps down to from front door to reno, so carpet it kept clean (and they sweep up daily afterwards). We have referred several friends to her and they too were highly complimentary. When we redo the master bath and kitchen, she will be my go to pro!!! The bestest!

Teri recently remodeled my kitchen and I LOVE it!! There were some hiccups along the way that I will describe below, but, obviously, not enough for me to give anything less than a 5 star review. Not only is she great at what she does, I genuinely like Teri and her crew. I felt comfortable with them in my house, and even comfortable with them and my dog which says a lot! Pros: Teri and her guys are very nice and easy to talk to. Teri is great at communicating and responding to requests/questions/etc. She and the guys helped me make a lot of decisions (this was my first remodel) and I very much valued and appreciated their input. The results are really impressive. Everyone who came to work on my kitchen from the contractors to the granite guys to the electrician to the plumber was respectful, clean, and efficient. To know that you can trust the people coming into your home, and to actually like all of them, is rare and so nice. Cons: There were some mistakes that were made along the way. The cabinet company didn't send a pull out trash can but a standard cabinet instead. Teri said she'd get it taken care of right away, but I decided I actually preferred the standard cabinet, so it worked out in the end. I was out of town when the countertops were installed and, when I returned, I noticed that an 8" overhang we had agreed on wasn't there. Yikes! But, get this, Teri and her group immediately took responsibility and had a new slab of soapstone delivered and installed in less than a week, and it had a 10" overhang - even better! AND, they let me keep the original slab that I'll be using for an outdoor bar. So, even though a mistake was made that extended the project a bit, the way it was handled made up for everything. It was so great not having to argue about it even for one second. There were other little minor issues that popped up but that were immediately addressed as soon as I pointed them out to Teri or her team. Tips: I had assumed that Teri would be present a little more often than she was, but I appreciate that she has other projects and is running a business. I was perfectly happy with the contractors she had working with me, but that is something to be aware of when hiring her. I would recommend discussing upfront who will be doing what work and how often she'll be present if that is something important to you. Another tip - if you have any doubts or questions about a decision you are making, just ask her what she thinks. She has really good ideas and a great eye for what looks good. She's creative and obviously loves what she does. And, if you need time to think on something, just tell her. She doesn't want to rush you into a decision you will later regret. So, to wrap this up, I would definitely recommend Teri and will be using her again in the future for any of my remodels. She truly wants to make her clients happy, and she and her team are not happy until you are - they don't just say that, they live up to it.

Great company, everything was done on schedule. I was very happy with all the work. I had a total bathroom remodel and an update on my family room fireplace. The Remodelista aka.. Teri, was great to work with. Will definitely use this company in the future.
