This review is way overdue since I don't use this website (and I am pretty much copy/pasting what I already wrote on yelp). Tekhome did some small project we had at home, it was in August 2014, moving around the laundry room to make space for a bigger walk-in closet. George is very responsive (much better than other people I worked with in the past), and they did a good job and all, but I am not going to tell you about that, something else. This work involved removing some old unused security system (getting rid of lots of cables) and months later, when it got cold enough to notice it, I realized that heating doesn't work on upstairs. HAVOC technician looked at things for an hour and said he cannot find the connection from my upstairs thermostat to the heater. I emailed George, explaining this and said I think he probably cut one (or a few) cables more than they should have. The main controller of this unused security system (the messiest spot) was right underneath the upstairs thermostat anyway. At that point, months had been passed since Tekhome was fully paid, and George could simply ignore this email. He did the exact opposite. He responded immediately, like within 10 minutes. He came in to look at things the same afternoon. Next day he came back with one more friend and lots of tools and ran a new set of cables trough a finished downstairs through the wall (not a trivial job) to solve the problem. Long story short, small or big at the end of the day some problems are unavoidable. You want to work with people that care about you and about what they do. I recommend TekHome with absolutely no hesitation.

We had a difficult area. Bathroom, laundryroom in a small space. George was very responsive to all concerns, questions & requests. His people were pleasant and respectful and were very comfortable having them in our home. The project came out beautiful.

We had our house remodeled this year by TekHome. The TekHome crew did an amazing job. George worked with us every step of the way to ensure that we were happy with each detail of the remodel. He was professional, friendly and did everything he could to make our home beautiful. George and his crew are what every contractor should be. I wouldn't hesitate to call on TekHome again. I highly recommend them to anyone who is considering an addition or remodel on their house.

TekHome has completed a couple of renovation projects for me - Interior remodel in 2006 and front and backyard decks and landscaping in 2008. I found TekHome to be professional, efficient and clean. I continue receiving compliments on the work done. I have recommended TekHome to friends and continue working with them on small projects.

During the rebuilding of my home, I first felt scared to see the walls come down, but TekHome explained everything to me, every week, what was coming next, great communications. They even gave us options of the best energy efficient materials available today and sometimes came shopping with us. TekHome listened to what I wanted and produced it. Things went smoothly getting permits, working with our architect, helping us select a gas fireplace, they built a mantel for us just like a picture in a magazine I provided, beautiful lighting, electronics galore, and Brazilian cherry wood floor.
