Tangerine Designs Kitchens and Baths

I'm writing this review, because Tiffany Williams of Tangerine Design Kitchens and Baths deserves recognition. My husband and I wanted to remodel our late 50's ranch home 1980s kitchen since we bought our house. However, we wanted not just a kitchen. We wanted THE BEST kitchen/living space for the house we will live in for years to come and enjoy it. We met with Tiffany and she made the process of picking the right kitchen easy, by asking a few simple questions as to the type, color, finish, appliances and after reviewing "our style of living" narrowed it down to just a few ideas. Tiffany presented us shortly after with very professional 3D layouts, that we picked from with no hesitation. She arranged the best contractor for our project, Meadowlark Renovations with Abe Christensen and crew, who's knowledge and skill made the vision come to life. Tiffany's attention to detail and communication/organization/coordination with the contractor kept our project on time and on budget. Tangerine and Meadowlark are a great Team! Its checks and balances with this group and you can tell they enjoy working together. We couldn't be more pleased with the way our kitchen came out. Friends and family definitely have a step-back in delight response when they come in our home. We highly recommend Tiffany/Tangerine Designs for your project. She certainly delivered the WOW factor for our home.

We hired Tiffany Williams of Tangerine Designs to remodel the galley style kitchen of our mid century ranch. Our goals were to open the space, increase storage, and bring in natural light. Tiffany knocked all three out of the park! Tiffany worked up four design proposals. All of them were imaginative, and made it clear she had listened to our ideas and understood our needs. Tiffany skillfully guided us through the material and finish selections. She was attentive throughout the renovation and promptly addressed issues as they arose (there were so few, clearly not her first rodeo). The end result is the stunning transformation of our home! We enthusiastically recommend Tangerine Designs, working with Tiffany was amazing!

Tiffany designed the kitchen addition, as well as 4 bathrooms (one all new and three remodels), for our two-story late 1940’s home. She very quickly understood my tastes and I always felt we were in synch on the goals for each room. Her knowledge about construction techniques and the overall process was indispensable and she delivered on all of her undertakings. Our project was undertaken during the disruptions of the pandemic, plus it involved an old home—so there were hiccups and unanticipated issues all along the way. Tiffany helped us work through each issue, with patience and, always, a professional attitude. She handled all the interactions with the contractors, suppliers and subs and kept us in the loop with regular progress reports. We love the results and would happily work with her again.

We worked with Tiffany on what started as a kitchen remodel, that quickly turned into a much larger project. Tiffany is an excellent communicator, she kept us informed of all of our timeliness. She listens to what you and knows what you are wanting in a design, even if your not entirely sure. She nailed every detail. I would highly recommend Tiffany. I look forward to working with her on our bathroom remodels. I trust her advice and know she had my very best interests in mind. She thinks of the practicality of the design and understood that the space is very much lived in.

Tiffany helped us think through how to make the best use of our master bath and closet space. She listened to our ideas and nixed what wouldn’t work and encouraged us with what would. When something we picked wasn’t available when it was time to order, she found something similar and asked me about it before she ordered it. Thanks Tiffany!

Working with Tiffany was great! We did a complete remodel of a 1984 kitchen and she completely re-envisioned the space - not only do we have an absolutely gorgeous kitchen with an innovative design, but the space is so much more functional with much better flow and light. I love to cook, so for me functionality was just as important as design. For a large family we also wanted the kitchen to be the heart of our new home, and Tiffany made sure the design accommodated everyone but was also durable. Despite the large scope of our project, Tiffany and her contractor coordinated well so that everything was seamless and easy. Highly recommend!

We LOVE our new upstairs attic conversion into a master bed/bath, with two large walk-in closets and a small attached office. Tiffany imagined the space better than we could have even come close to designing ourselves and was fantastic at picking out design finishes that we loved. She was extremely hands-on with our contractors and overall project, so she helped tremendously when any obstacles with construction were encountered and made sure the job was flowing smoothly. We were so impressed with Tiffany’s design and loved working with her so much, we’ve already moved on to our next big project with her - basement remodel! 10/10 would recommend Tiffany and Tangerine Designs to anyone looking for a true professional to help them turn their home into one of their dreams!!

Tiffany was excellent to work with on my kitchen remodel. She had great, creative suggestions for the design and layout. Her experience was invaluable when it came to cabinet and design functionality. I appreciated the design aesthetic she brought to my project, which is why I gravitated working towards her. Her design sense is crisp and fresh and she was very open to my ideas as the client. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Tiffany again!!

We had an entire main floor remodel with main areas being all new kitchen and family room with complete fireplace makeover. Tiffany did an excellent job updating but worked to incorporate some existing oak into the new design. We love the new kitchen layout. The fireplace is the main focal point of the family room. Tiffany was great to work with. The entire project took longer than planned but all delays were due to Covid complications.

Tiffany designed remodels of our entryway, hearth, and a bathroom and new paint for the first floor. We love the tile and fixtures she helped us pick out. Our 1920's house feels more light and bright throughout and we really appreciate our "new" home.

We used Tangerine Designs to remodel our entire upstairs to create a master bedroom; master bathroom, large walk-in closet and a home office. Pricing was very reasonable. They designed the entire new floor configuration that utilizes the available space perfectly. Tiffany was great to work with. She gave us options in all the design aspects of the renovation and helped us choose to create a cohesive look to the upstairs. Tiffany worked with the contractors and kept up on the entire project to make sure things went smoothly. I highly recommend Tangerine designs.

Working with Tiffany was a GREAT experience! We did a main floor remodel and addition to the back of our home. She was so helpful for the whole process. Her advice and design choices were perfect! Tiffany is so talented! This was our first project since we bought our home. We had no idea what we wanted or what this process would look like. Tiffany took the time to answer all of our questions, and to cost compare on materials. I can’t imagine how stressful this project could have been if we didn’t have her to handle everything. We literally picked out Colors, flooring, appliances and she did the rest. She handled ordering, receiving materials, and the contractors. Her goal really is to help you create your perfect space with as little stress as possible!

Tiffany was fantastic. We didn't want to do an entire gut of our kitchen but wanted to make some significant changes to improve its function and resale value. She met with us numerous times to understand our needs and helped us make design decisions and we absolutely love how it turned out. We went from boring oak and outdated backsplash to modern kitchen. Tiffany was recommended due to her skill in complete renovations but she is really good at partial ones too. Would highly recommend!

Tiffany designed my kitchen renovation in a historic home. Her custom cabinets were a perfect fit - the simple shaker style matched the woodwork in the house and made great use of limited space. I recently sold the home and had three offers, at or above asking price, in the first 24 hours. Every single person who has seen the kitchen has absolutely loved it.

MAIN FLOOR REMODEL (Kitchen, Family Room, Dining Room, and Living Room): My decision to engage Tiffany at Tangerine Designs t advise on my main floor remodel was one of the best decisions I made. By sharing my Ideabooks on Houzz with Tangerine Designs I was able to “communicate” my style preferences for kitchen design, kitchen cabinets, countertops, hardwood flooring, windows, fireplace design, bathroom fixtures and doors. Tiffany accompanied me to vendor locations enabling me to make selections on countertops, cabinets, hardwood flooring, tile, sinks, fixtures and fireplace design, etc. These visits were handled in a very efficient manner as Tiffany had clear insight into my style preferences based on my Houzz Ideabooks. Tiffany's recommendations were also "on point" for my remodel budget. As the main floor remodel project progressed, Tiffany was available every step of the way and worked very well with the contractor – even keeping the contractor on schedule. Tangerine Designs was quite helpful in advising on options for storage of my furniture during the project as well as post-construction clean. The project was completed in a timely manner even with an increase in the project scope. I plan to update my upstairs bathrooms and look forward to working with Tangerine Designs on these updates as well.

We worked with Tiffany from Tangerine Designs on our bathroom remodel. Our house was built in 1926 and the bathroom was small and unique. I chose Tangerine Design because I knew that she had experience working with older homes. Tiffany was great at drawing up ideas to recreate and enlarge the space. My husband and I were very happy with the renovation, Tiffany really created a clean, sleek updated bathroom!

I hired Tiffany for a complete kitchen remodel. She did a fantastic job of listening to what I wanted and then putting it all together in a beautiful finished product. She was great at helping me to narrow down my choices making it easier for me to pick something I loved. I never felt like she was pushing me towards something I didn't want. Her construction team was excellent as well. Top-to-bottom, the process was very smooth, and considering the large scope of my project, that's saying something!

In early 2017 we decided it was time to remodel the main floor and bathrooms of our home. We were so lucky to have found Tiffany with Tangerine Designs. With a project that ended up spanning over 70% of the home, we were concerned with how we would bring everything together so the new design would flow seamlessly throughout the entire house. Tiffany was there for everything--from the initial concepts on design, style, colors, to picking out quality materials--all while keeping the entire project on track. Quite simply we would not have been able to tackle this project without a designer, and we would not have ended up with such outstanding results without the expertise and guidance of Tangerine Designs.

I couldn't be happier with all the results. Tangerine Designs, Tiffany, totally got what I wanted and made sure it happened. We completely gutted the kitchen, even removed a couple of walls and I now have a beautiful bright kitchen. We also did the same in the bathroom and it's amazing. Tiffany actually helped me with the whole main floor, including redoing the fireplace. She was fun to work with throughout the whole project.

We love our country kitchen and open living space! Tiffany suggested the Houzz app which allowed us to visualize the "look" we had in mind. Tangerine Designs accommodated our ideas for preserving some of the 1977 "old" and provided a unique, creative, functional "new." Tiffany made suggestions, designed, delivered perspectives, and graciously offered time and assistance with appliance, countertop, and lighting decisions. The 30" X 30" quartz insert in our 6' X 8' black walnut island is our favorite! We plan to contact Tangerine Designs when we tackle our bathroom projects.

Tiffany did an amazing job redesigning our Midcentury bathrooms! She created functional, beautiful new spaces despite the challenging nature of the project. Her creative solutions and ideas have helped us achieve more than we thought possible given the dimensions of the rooms. Tiffany's design instincts are spot-on, and she takes much of the stress out of making decisions. She handles everything calmly every step of the way. Tiffany was great throughout the entire process. Very organized and precise. Her ideas are very creative, especially when working with a very small space in a very old house. The craftsmen she used, especially for the tile and cabinet installation, were amazing! We had a lot of custom work and materials and she's very knowledgeable about where to find these materials. She's also very good at incorporating new and innovative ideas into the floor plan and design, while still maintaining the integrity of our "old" home!

I am getting ready to buy a new house and would like to get one that I can transform into my own. I found their store by chance and went in, not knowing what to expect. The ladies were friendly and helpful, explaining the benefits of granite vs quartz countertops and gave me lots of ideas for my next kitchen. Although I haven't purchased my next project yet, I look forward to working with them to design my perfect kitchen.

I would highly recommend Tangerine Designs to anyone looking to renovate or remodel. My kitchen is beautiful and it is exactly what I envisioned. Tiffany and Annie were great to work with. They were able to do the things I asked for when other companies told me it wouldn't be possible. They also were very knowledgable and pointed out things I had not thought of, not being in the design business myself. Bret did an amazing job with my backsplash!!! Very pleased with kitchen remodel that included paint and cabinet re-facing. The transformation brighten up and gave a completely different inviting vibe to the space. Tiffany and Annie at Tangerine Designs were wonderful!! The design plans they created for my new kitchen were amazing! Andy and Bret turned the plans into a reality. There are not enough words to express my gratitude to all of the talented people that made my dream kitchen come true!

We had Tangerine Designs to remodel two bathrooms for us and are glad we chose them. Tangerine is a design build service. They are interior designers, i.e. interior architecture, and a builder team. We have a 1960 house and it was time to replace complete bathrooms down to the studs. One was all yellow, tile walls, tub, yellow sinks with rust painted yellow and yellow floor tile with cracks everywhere. The other bath was smaller and same in that baby poo brown 60’s color with a very low ceiling in the shower. I had five contractors that were to come over to give us bids. Of that, one didn't show and we got two of four bids. When you look at your bids this is where you have to be careful! The price for contractor who we didn't hire was lower though in the end would have been higher. The other contractor’s allowance for tile, counter tops and cabinets were really low. Two dollars a square foot for floor tile! (You can’t buy tile for that). You have to add in everything need to buy, toilets, tub, faucets, lighting, fans, plumbing etc. Additionally the other contractor was just that, a contractor, (nice guys though). I still had to go out and find the products and it was suggested to find cabinets at a box store. I think I have good taste though I am not in the business and this is where a design build service excels over your basic contractor. My project with Tangerine was professionally drawn out so I could see it on paper. Additionally, Tangerine was organized and knew what products to get and where to get them. For example, there are great tile stores around other than box stores. They know where to find good looking inexpensive tile as well as good looking higher end. I wanted a certain look in our bathrooms and they helped us get that and at our price range. I wanted better cabinets than the box store. A good contractor should have a in or be a rep for at least one good cabinet company. Tangerine had the cabinets as well as great counter top and tile products to choose from at varying price points. We did our bathrooms at different times. You wouldn't want to do both at once. My advice is, whoever you choose to do the work, make sure you go over your contract of what is included. Also go over time frames for the work to be done. Good contractors have work lined up in advance. Tangerine crossed t’s and dotted i’s. The bathrooms were finished correctly. If you are going to remodel make sure it is worth it and you are going to love your end product! We love our new baths! Also I will try to upload my pictures.

We hired Tangerine Designs to transform an unused side porch into a fully-finished office space in our 1924 Dutch Colonial Revival home. Everything from the design phase through the final punch-list was handled professionally. The crew's excellent craftsmanship combined with high quality materials will assure a long life for this heavily used (new) space! With small children at home during the construction, we appreciate how the work crew was courteous and cleaned up at the end of each work day. The project commenced and finished on-time and on-budget. This is the second project Tangerine has completed at our home. Next up is the basement!

Tiffany and Andy were great to work with, Tiffany helped to design our bathroom beautifully while staying within our allotted budget, she worked to find alteratives to the high priced items that I have a pechant for picking out that worked with the decor and prices we wanted. Andy and his team showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves daily while completing excellent work, which is really a priority for us with a family. We look forward to our next project with Tangerine!
