We are Design / Build remodeling contractor that specializes in both Bathrooms and Kitchens. We combine Computer Design with over 30 years of experience in the industry. We sit down with each client and listen to what they would like to have done. We work hard to connect Function, Design and Budget. Our goal is to provide you with a renovation experience that will delight you. The Remodel Process : All remodels are focused on three points. Design (Does is look beautiful), Function (Does it work) and Budget (Can I afford it). I like to discuss these three points up front to make sure we are all on the same page. If so, we typically set up an appointment. There is no cost for appointments. At appointments I like to discuss ideas with the client all based on Design/Function/Budget. We have done thousands of jobs so we typically have a picture of different ideas that I show clients to confirm we are on the same page. Although appointments are free, we offer Computer CAD renderings and we charge for those. I usually recommend them if we are doing a new design on a Kitchen/Living Area. Most clients do not understand what the design is so I typically show them some other design so they can better understand them. With a CAD design, they can walk around the project (on the computer) and get a better feel for the space. I find the design helps clients better understand/visualize what they are doing. We give the design to the client when we present it. Also if a client uses us to do the job, we credit the design cost back to them. Appointment typically take 1.5 hours. How to select your contractor : Ask questions, as many as you have. A good contractor will answer questions you have not even thought of. We have a saying "there are no bad questions"! Make sure that the contractor understands what you want to achieve and that pricing is in line. Make sure you can communicate well with your contractor. How to prepare to meet with a Contractor : I like to give clients a "home work" assignment. I ask them to give me a bullet point list of what they would like in their new Kitchen/Bathroom. I ask for them to list the bullet points in priority of importance. I also ask them to show me a picture of either a Kitchen/Bathroom that they like.
