Paula and Sara helped to bring my vision to life! Their designs were perfect and detailed and they thought of everything. Their oversight kept everything on schedule and made the project less stressful. Paula offered design advice that pulled everything together throughout my entire house and went above and beyond to find unique pieces that fit my style and budget. I highly recommend!

We have a beautiful vintage cherry wood kitchen that has been updated twice, incorporating the new with the old. It was now time to update the wet bar area and prior to our hosting our Wine Club's tasting at our home. North Shore Kitchens had the only license in our area to provide the same cabinetry that our kitchen and wet bar had that was some 30 years old and other cabinetry we had incorporated 15 years ago - same cabinet maker. We were concerned about taking a chance with them, since had not ever worked with them before, but it was the best decision that we have made recently on our remodels. They were able to incorporate our vintage with current updated styles seamlessly with the high quality of materials and choosing quality craftsman that we have come to know. We believe in recycling not demo everything because of latest styles, when quality and craftsmanship still exists no mater its age. How did it go? We started working with Jim and Sara in November on planning a new kitchen for our home. They were a huge help in creating a design and picking out the perfect cabinets. We couldn't have taken on such a large project without them. My Kitchen project was recently completed on time and with great attention to detail. As is with any construction project there are hurdles along the way. We hit a few minor ones and they always worked hard to make sure that things were perfect. They have chosen great contractors to work for them as well, Elite Renovations produced their design perfectly. In a world where there are thousands of designers and contractors I have never been more happy to have walked into their store. We felt important to them and they were very easy to work with. It felt like family was working in our house. We waited for a lot of years for our dream kitchen and we finally have it thanks to North Shore Kitchens.

We used North Shore Kitchens to help us determine a redesign for a gut job on our 60 year old kitchen in our home (built 1952): Scope included the works – revised kitchen footprint, cabinets, countertops, appliances, lighting, tile backsplashes, flooring. The design work was completed over about a 3 month period in spring/early summer 2016. Much of that time was for us to think about what exactly we wanted in our kitchen- North Shore was always very prompt in providing us with updated specs/estimates etc throughtout this design process. We were nervous having never done any kitchen design, except for buying a few appliances. We went to a few design firms for similar requests – North Shore was the only group to provide us with a variety of potential designs, ranging from no change at all to completely changing the layout of all our main living areas of the house. They listened to our requirements but also stretched our imagination in showing us alternatives to consider. Jim spent over an hour with us during our initial visit to his showroom just educating us on all the choices available in kitchen-related materials. He and Sara were terrific in spending time with us – walking us through all aspects from defining an initial design to all the very specific choices along the way. They went out of their way to accommodate our schedules in setting up meeting times. They went to lengths to explain pros/cons of various design choices, materials etc. The final contract was detailed so that there was no question what was included (and not included) in the scope of the project. They provided detailed designs, including 3 d photographic type simulations of what the design would actually look like when completed in our space – down to colors/styles etc. And it was very accurate! As result, we knew what we were committing to and ultimately were extremely happy with the results of our wonderful new kitchen! We felt throughout the process that Jim and Sara were wonderful partners to us and had our best interests at heart. They had an excellent relationship with the contractor who implemented the design – it was a seamless transition in ensuring that the contractor knew down to each detail the design decisions that we had agreed upon. North Shore Kitchens provided the general oversight through end of project completion. The timetable for the installation turned out to be just what was estimated – approximately 8 weeks elapsed time (mid-September through mid-November, 2016). Jim and Sara were excellent at providing realistic expectations to us and accurately estimating the overall timeline and holding to that schedule(along with their implementation partner, Elite Renovations Corp). We would strongly recommend North Shore Kitchens as an excellent kitchen design firm.

North Shore Kitchen was hired to completely remodel a bathroom. After extensive research, we hired them and could not be more pleased. The design process was flawless. The communication amongst everyone was top notch. Ideas were floated and designs were discussed. Choosing everything in their showroom was easy and fun and they made the whole process pain-free. Their courteousness was second to none. They poured through every detail and made sure all of us were on the same page during every step of the project. The contractors were also top notch. At the end of every day, our house was as clean as clean could be. They were friendly, paid attention to detail and were very respectful of our property. We started working with North Shore in The fall of 2015. They were wonderful to work with especially while we were in the design process. It was a collaboration that was fun and not pressured. They wanted to get it perfect for us and they did. Once we started to pick the materials they were honest in explaining the pros and cons of each material type. We received an estimate and ideas for our kitchen remodel from Jim and Sara. We were very pleased with the designs they provided to us, as we were looking for a lot more storage and pantry space, and making our large kitchen more efficiently designed. We decided however that doing a new construction would be better suited to what we wanted to accomplish. We highly recommend them to anyone for kitchen design services.

Jim and Sara were impressive! Jim takes the time to teach you- no matter how much homework you do, the expert thinks of things you don't. Be willing to listen. We appreciate his year of experience and knowledge- and his patience. Sara is an excellent listener-she pays attention to the customer. She looked for products and accents that fit our style and our needs. We love our kitchen!

North Shore Kitchen Design completely remodeled my townhouse kitchen. They took my ideas and designed a space that works even better than I imagined. The contractor that they provided was professional and easy to work with. All of my questions and problems were quickly answered.

Years ago North Shore Kitchen Design Center (NSKDC) remodeled our kitchen and we were extremely pleased with the high level of service and the quality product we received. Years later, when it was time to remodel our bathroom, we returned to NSKDC and once again were extremely pleased with the work. This summer we decided to finish our basement and were confident NSKDC would help us design a gorgeous space once again - and they did! Jim and Sara did an outstanding job with the layout of our basement. They were able to look at the unfinished space and visualize a layout that would work perfectly for the needs of our family. With their expertise we now have a gorgeous finished basement with a wet bar, TV viewing area, pool table room, and a sound-deadening music room for our son's band practice. North Shore Kitchen Design Center has a gorgeous showroom. I stopped in to check it out while in town for a wedding. The staff is so knowledgeable and professional. If I lived in the area I would definitely hire them! I could tell by talking to two of the staff members for just a few minutes that they were so passionate about their work and their products.

I contacted several kitchen re-modelers to design a new kitchen for my old house. North Shore Kitchens was by far the most creative and most thorough in their design and proposal. Jim and Sara are extremely professional and detail-oriented. They worked very, very hard to make the entire renovation go smoothly, leaving "no stone unturned" when it came to the details. We were so happy with the project, that we had them remodel a powder room before the kitchen was completed. We have two bathrooms that need to be renovated next, and I will go directly to them!
