Several years ago my partner and I owned a franchise called N-Hance Wood Renewal and Ms. Glockner was a customer of that company. N-Hance is a refinishing service providing customers who are not in the market for a new kitchen, the ability to spruce up their existing cabinetry. We owned the franchise for a 5-year term before deciding not to renew our license at the end of 2014. Please feel free to google N-Hance Wood Renewal reviews and see how satisfied most customers are.
When refinishing cabinetry, bonding is critical and often, in high wear areas, the bond needs to be touched up after the first application. You cannot always tell when the finish is wet if there is an area of high wear that the bond needs fortification. In addition, with the change of seasons in CT, solid wood doors will expand and contract and will sometimes slip out of alignment. Both are issues that are simple and easy to fix. When we completed Ms. Glockner’s job in May of 2014, she contacted us about these issues. We tried on several occasions to set up an appointment with her to correct them unsuccessfully. She told us she was very busy and just did not have the time. We were successful in setting up one appointment, which she subsequently cancelled.
In December of 2014, we closed the business. In January of 2015, Ms. Glockner decided she now had the time to set up an appointment with us. Unfortunately, because N-Hance is a franchise, we had no ability to purchase the product necessary to fix her issue because we were no longer a franchisee. Our only alternative to this situation, was to contact the insurance company that handled that business.

We are very sorry about the unavoidable situation with Ms. Glockner however, she now has a brand-new kitchen courtesy of our insurance company. Hopefully she will find some solace in that.
