We recently had our kitchen remodeled by Leo Lantz and his team. It required a full demolition and a change in the floor layout. The 3-D drawings and the design discussions were very helpful in making sure we got exactly what we wanted. Leo and everyone he had working on our kitchen were professional, courteous, and skilled at their craft. They finished our kitchen within the time frame given and on budget. If you want the job done right the first time Leo Lantz is the person to call. They finished my kitchen in forty-five days and that included taking down a wall. His office manager Chontrelle was awesome she made me feel comfortable. Brad was great with his 3D design. Sherry always check to see if I needed anything and kept me up to date of what was going on. Leo is awesome too he had solutions to any problems. After he was done with my kitchen and I needed the threshold put down because the carpet people would not he came over and did it for me. Now that’s what I call out of this world customer service.

Leo Lantz took my call on Friday afternoon, December 29th 2017 right before New year weekend. I was quoting the installation of a large sink and had already called three companies with various pricing and availability. Leo offered to come by and take a look at our sink not only the same day, but right away because we live closed to his shop and he was heading to another job. He came by, was very professional, so friendly my parents who were visiting for the holidays offered him to stay for dinner. The next day Leo came by with his son and installed our sink. They had to perform more service then originally anticipated because our prior sink was not installed correctly, adding 1.5 hours to the job time. Leo only charged us a nominal fee for the setback in time, greatful for an opportunity to help earn his son some extra money and learn a days work. We were very lucky to have gotten in touch with Leo, I’m not sure anyone could have matched his customer service and job well done. We had Leo come out to do a Master Bath renovation on a 25 year old home. In 15 year of homeownership and working with many different types of contractors, I had the best experience working with a contractor ever. Leo Lantz Construction, Inc. recently completed a master bathroom remodel for us. After completely gutting the old bathroom, his team worked to create a beautiful bathroom for us - we are beyond pleased. From the very beginning, we knew we wanted to hire Leo Lantz Construction, not only because of their professionalism but because we knew they would deliver the product we wanted based on other projects they had completed. The owner was on site most days, and no detail was left untouched. We stayed within our budget, and the project was completed on time. There were a couple of things that popped up where the original home builder had not done something correctly, and this could have impacted the project, but Leo Lantz Construction was able to correct the issues and move forward with the completion. We consider ourselves very picky with details, and we have not been able to find anything that we would change. We would not hesitate to hire them again for another project!

I have been a fan of Leo Lantz's renovation work for years. When it became our turn for renovations after becoming empty nesters, there was no doubt that we wanted Leo to do the work. Our home was built in 1989, and after raising 3 kids, it looked very dated and worn. Leo transformed our kitchen and family room from the 1980's pine wood cabinet/lanoleum counter top days, into a modern/bright/fresh open living space with white/functional Wellborn cabinets with gorgeous quartz counter tops. He removed a half wall that divided the family room and kitchen. This opened up the living space. He also replaced our nasty carpet in the family room with beautiful hard wood to match the kitchen floors. The transformation has been incredible with all new appliances, elongated island with seating using blush maple cabinets as a statement piece, a bar in the family room, and blush maple cabinets with the quartz top as a serving area with extra storage in the dining room. Of course the half bath had to have a new face, too. He replaced the old worn out cabinet, toilet, sink and faucet, with a blush maple cabinet, quartz counter top/sink and taller Kohler quick flush toilet. To top off this project, Leo added cabinet lighting for the glass door cabinets, under cabinet lights, pancake lights with dimmers in both room, and beautiful pendulum lights with Edison bulbs over the island and sink. Sometimes I stand in the kitchen at night varying the lighting for effect. Leo added special attention to all the details. Why did I wait so long to do this? Frankly, the thought of all the deconstruction/construction and all the choices to be made, scared us. Leo assured us that he would stay on schedule, and he did. He gave us wonderful suggestions when we couldn't decide on something. His expertise has given us a paradise within our home. It was not our lowest bid, but we received the service and quality we paid for, and more. Leo is meticulous and ensures that all of the work is done properly. Leo and his staff and subcontractors are friendly, capable and efficient. Leo stops by often to check the work of his carpenter, plumber, electrician, painter, tile man and dry wall person. Leo Lantz Construction did a fabulous job bringing our circa 1960 basement bar/living area into the 21st century with a complete makeover. Our room is now a warm and inviting space where we enjoy entertaining and relaxing with friends. The project was completed on time and on budget. It took us well over a year to decide to go ahead with the bathroom remodel from the time we first met with John Norman. He worked with us on several re-workings of the plan and contract in a patient manner and walked us through each step including meeting and going over the plans. Moving to Richmond in retirement, my husband and I found our dream home in Ginter Park, Richmond, VA,. Our dream house minus the kitchen!! From estimation, to materials selection, to demo, to the finished product, Leo Lantz and his professional crew provided the highest standard of professionalism and skill for our master bathroom renovation. Our 1980s pre-fab shower and cultured marble tub and vanity were replaced with custom designed granite and tile. I've known Leo for several years now. We met at Panera's one morning while having coffee. Over time he shared with myself and and a couple friends about his work and even showed us pictures of some of his completed work. I'm retired on a limited income, I needed the windows replaced in my home. I asked Leo one day if he did window replacement. He came to my house, took all the measurements. Within 1 day I had an estimate. I was surprised at how reasonable his estimate was. He told me when he could start. When the windows came in, he called me and told me when he'd be there. He arrived promptly with his crew. Leo personally supervised and worked with his crew part of the time. Leo installed all new windows in my house, as well as replacing all the exterior doors, he remodeled a bathroom, installed sinks in two kitchens, fixed an interior door, and replaced a toilet and sink in another bathroom. I chose Leo because of the positive reviews he's received. I got estimates from three different people, but I was impressed by Leo when he came to the house, so I went with him. Leo was very professional and orderly, he gave me a clear timetable for the work, and he kept to it, showing up when he said he would, and completing work in a timely fashion, even when things didn't go well. It was very easy to communicate with Leo, and he was excellent at keeping me informed about how work was progressing. I was immediately impressed by the quality of Leo's work, and found myself asking him to do more than I had originally expected, in some cases repairing, or replacing work other contractors had done unsatisfactorily. We decided to remodel our master bathroom, kitchen and half bath and, after some research, were pleased to find Leo Lantz Construction. Leo listened to our thoughts on the project and demonstrated his comprehension of our desires in the proposal he presented. Leo and his staff made us aware of options that improved the appearance and functionality of all three rooms. For instance, we had wanted a bar in the kitchen to replace the table we ate at and had been told by other remodelers that there wasn't enough space for one. Leo designed, built and installed a peninsular bar that accommodates 4 stools with backs and 2 without backs and no one is cramped when seated there. Leo also proposed a chef's pantry to replace our original small traditional pantry. We gained useable space in roughly the same footprint. In the master bath we had the tub removed and that space converted to a shower. With suggestions from Leo and his team we installed the shower with a bench, multiple shower heads, lateral drain, which we find to be more efficient than traditional drains. Leo had all of this enclosed with frameless glass walls and door. Other features Leo suggested included a heated floor and conversion of the old shower space into a cosmetic area which has enabled us to better organize counter space. During this project we were impressed by the abilities and professionalism of all of the people we encountered. Leo and his team helped my wife and I bring our master bathroom renovation ideas to life. We met Leo several years ago when he coached my son's basketball team. He was friendly, organized, creative and enthusiastic... turns out he runs his business the same way. Our project involved a complete renovation of our master bathroom. Contacted Leo Lantz Construction based on a referral from a friend who he did work for. Leo responded right away to my call and scheduled a date/time to look at the work I wanted. He came in with a quote and we agreed on a price to renovate our 1970's bathroom. The work involved complete demolition down to the studs, install new fixtures to include vanity, sink, shower, jetted tub, toilet, and new drywall. We had a change of mind on the shower unit and opted for a larger unit and Leo accommodated us on what we wanted done, there was some more cost involved but we received a much larger shower unit. Leo's team cleaned up the work site at the end of each work day. Leo explained what work was done and what was next to be completed. He kept us informed of the progress of the job. 6 months later, the shower door broke. Leo came out and made the repairs under the warranty at no cost. Later on we hired Leo again to remodel our small master bedroom bathroom where he also did a great job. He replaced a rotten floor board at no cost. We are very satisfied with his work and would hire him again.

We found Leo Lantz on Angie's list and were very impressed by their flexibility and full range of services. Once we started the project which was some updates to our kitchen (backsplash tiling and beadboard installation) and a remodel of our bathroom, we were presented with a very organized timeline and schedule. Leo Lantz performed a complete gutting and remodel of our master bath. The entire project took about two months, and ran slightly more than I had initially expected, due to some changes in materials that I had requested after the original contract had been signed (I changed my mind about the original granite that I had chosen and switched to a more expensive granite). This was our first experience with remodeling and we were very, very pleased with Leo Lantz and all of his employees. I was especially pleased with the high level of customer service provided by Leo, John Norman and his staff. Any questions or concerns that I had were addressed promptly (if not immediately). One of the things that I appreciate the most about Leo Lantz, is that all of his workers showed up promptly. We could not be happier with the results and I would highly recommend this company.

Leo Lantz recently did upgrades and repairs to my kitchen and bathroom in my rental house. He also replaced walls due to water damage, refinished the hardwood floors and upgraded the electrical system. This house is 62 years old and the hardwood floors look like new. Leo and his team are experts. He values his customers and even though he is very busy, he finds time to work you into his schedule. One thing that sets him apart from other contractors is that he always returns calls, emails or text messages promptly and addressess any issues promptly. He is the only contractor I will ever hire for home improvements and I would give him a 10 star rating if it was available!

Leo Lantz Inc provided a total upgrade to our two upstair bathroom (Colonial house style). This included going from standard flooring to tile; new vanities, tub in one and shower in the other, toilets, and accessories. They were able to accommodate our schedule and completed the work in a timely manner. All of their subcontractors were very friendly, competent, and helpful. We are not very good in the remodeling arena, so their guidance was helpful as we decided upon the material, quality, and colors for our work. They were always responsive if we had a question or if we had a special situation come up. We highly recommend Leo and his crew.

Last year we had 3 bathrooms remodeled by Leo Lantz Construction. We live in an older home in the Fan area of Richmond VA which presented Leo and his team with many challenges. At some point we will be looking to redo our bathroom and Leo Lantz Construction will be the first and only call we make!

We hired Leo Lantz to update our master bath and could not be more pleased with the result. Through his professional management, he transformed our bleak '70's bath to the stunning, light filled river rock bath pictured on his site. The contract presented by him was fair, clear and reasonable. His workmanship, as well as his associates', was "top notch". The project was begun and completed in the time estimated by Leo.
