I first hired Roger when I wanted to redo my kitchen, summer of 2020. It was “VERY” dated, with pink counters, yellow tiles and laminate flooring. I knew nothing when it came to kitchen remodeling, thanks to his knowledge, creativity and design flair, Roger really understood what I was imagining and he made it come to reality. I again contacted Roger in May 2022 to do my master bathroom, again he has wowed me! My ideas and his knowledge and recommendations turned my master bathroom into my personal oasis. On a travaillé avec Roger depuis à peu près 6 ans. Notre première expérience, c’était une consultation simplement pour des idées de couleurs de peinture pour rafraichir un peu notre maison. On a rapidement découvert que Roger était très professionnel. On a apprécié ses suggestions et le fait qu’il prenait aussi nos préférences en considération. Notre deuxième projet était pas mal plus élaboré. Une rénovation complète de notre cuisine et notre salle de bain principale. Roger et JR ont passé plusieurs semaines avec nous pour cette rénovation. Ils étaient ponctuels, venaient tous les jours (nous étions leur seul client jusqu’à ce qu’ils complètent le travail) et ils nettoyaient avant de quitter tous les soirs. J’ai beaucoup apprécié que Roger m’a accompagné chez IKEA pour m’aider à choisir les matériaux et compléter le plan de la cuisine. Il m’a aussi rejoint au magasin de céramique pour offrir des suggestions. Sa relation professionnelle avec les commerçants a facilité les achats. Notre troisième projet était notre salle de bain au sous-sol, complètement refaite avec salle de lavage incorporée. Encore une fois, Roger s’est rendu aux magasins avec moi pour m’aider à faire des choix. Il a le don de trouver ce qui s’agence bien ensemble sans que ce soit acablant. Je recommenderais certainement Roger Dugas pour vos rénovations.

The first step in renovating is picking a great contractor. We found Roger Dugas fills that requirement in every way. Roger has outstanding skills in design, construction, and putting the finishing touches on renovation projects. He is easy to work with and talented in bringing together the required trades people. Our first project was the main bathroom, and we are thrilled with the finished product. That led to redoing the basement bathroom, and again, he made the process easy and fun, with another excellent outcome. As he finished that, we began talking about updating the kitchen. By this time, we had complete trust in Roger's judgement and skill set. We agreed that the lower-level recreation room also needed updating and would best be done concurrently for wiring and natural gas lines to be installed. The job was completed on time and on budget. We are very pleased with the result, as it adds high quality living space to our home. Roger is an exceptional facilitator, working with Laurysen Kitchens in optimizing the cabinetry and under counter lighting for our custom built kitchen, and working with the electrician to make great decisions on the electrical side. He also researched a new product for the basement ceiling which requires only 2" to install and reflects light well. Together we created a color palette that we enjoy every day! We recently had an appraisal done on the value of our home, and the realtor's reaction underlined the value added by our renovations. Roger has helped us design and decorate, refresh and renovate our home for over twenty years! We wouldn’t consider making any changes without him! He brings some critical skills to the job enabling him to help you design/plan the project and then he makes it all happen by doing the work himself! Then should an unforeseen problem arise, your designer is on site to help navigate through the dilemma. Always calm, always positive, he will steer through the project and it always comes out beautifully in the end! His workmanship is of the same quality as his skills are in the planning. One of the things we like best about Roger, is that he respects your individual taste and lifestyle and at the same time he encourages change and innovation within those limits. When the project is done you can feel as proud of it as if you had done it yourself! Our biggest and most impressive undertaking was a major renovation that brought our sunroom and kitchen together into a magnificent great room, an adjacent butlers’ pantry, a powder room, an upstairs laundry room/office and a bathroom!. It was a huge undertaking requiring many decisions and more than a few adaptations but the finished product is spectacular both in beauty and function! In fact, it is our pride and joy! I have happily recommended him to friends over the years who are now dedicated followers as well!

We have had several remodelling projects done by Imagine interior Decorating over the past five years, including living, dining, family, laundry, bathroom, and bedrooms. Each time we were impressed with the quality of the renovation and the courteous and helpful manner in which it was conducted. We did not know where to start for the work seemed to be overwhelming with several trades involved. However, Roger easily developed design solutions, advised on decor ideas and explained any pros and cons. Options were always presented with our preferences in mind. His strong sense of decor proved most helpful in taking us shopping for flooring tiles and hardwood, lighting, furniture and window treatments.
