We would not recommend Frey Building and Remodeling. Overall - unsatisfactory communication and scheduling, delays and unfinished work.

Freys Building and Remodeling did an outstanding job on the remodel of our 18 year old kitchen and dining room. All the subs were excellent. Thank you for the quality workmanship and attention to detail. The finished product is a beautiful, functional space that surpassed our expectations.

We used Freys for numerous projects over a nine month span on our 1930 Tudor Revival. They remodeled our kitchen, sun room, and bathroom. We liked their work so much, we also had them replace rotting trim on our exterior and repaint our house. Scott Frey maintains a very high standard of workmanship and personally inspects every project at completion. During our walk-throughs, he saw minor flaws that we did not and promptly corrected them. The quality of work surpassed my every expectation. They were also very creative in finding solutions to problems along the way. For example, they moved a chase that was protruding into our kitchen into an adjacent wall cavity so it was hidden. The end results was far better than the original design. They also took the time to do the project right. When dealing with an older house, you never know what you are going to find when you start demolition, but Scott and Dan (our project manager) always brought in an expert to make sure what they were planning to do was structurally sound. This is very important when you are disturbing the 80 year old foundation in our sun room or replacing original cast-iron pipes in our bathroom. I can't say enough good things about Freys and we will definitely use them on our next project.

Scott and his crew are fantastic. I have worked with him on an addition in our basement including full bath and additional room. In addition he has done work for many of my clients. They provide a schedule of subs coming each day and have complete job outlined upon starting the job. All the subs were excellent to work with and clean. In addition all his suppliers were so helpful--thanks a bunch to Scott, Brian and their crew. As a realtor, I will definitely continue to pass his name along and have already given him several referrals.
