We had a guest bathroom and a powder room gutted and remodeled on a short schedule to accommodate visiting relatives from abroad. With a same day in-home appointment and a long late afternoon by the designer, we had a plan for our remodel in one day. The entire project was completed to the last detail in one month. We spent 20% more than we had originally budgeted for our project but are extremely happy with the design, the quality of the materials installed, and the workmanship. Despite an aggressive schedule, the tile work was done slowly and carefully. No shortcuts were taken. All small special requests were met with a "no problem" response. I can’t express how much I was impressed when I went to their showroom for our material selection meeting. It was way bigger and full-filled compared to other 2 showrooms we went. They have one of the biggest kitchen remodeling showroom in Loudoun County. Due to poor communication and coordination. we ended up staying in a hotel for 18 nights! The various crews would come for a couple of hours or not show up at all. They missed a Friday and said they'd come Saturday instead- nope. The bathroom remodel and flooring install (whole condo) was delayed for several weeks with no reply to my inquiries as to start date. The flooring was installed in the wrong direction. (We left it) I asked at initial meeting that there be small grout space on floor and shower wall-caught that one in time for at least the floor and had to go buy spacers myself. Guy on the phone accused me of making a last minute change. They tried to install the tub over a crack in concrete floor and with no insulation between tub and outside wall. There was a mixup of who was to purchase it. There was a pipe leak behind the wall and they were going to install tub over sewage stain. The Condo Association had the cracked pipe repaired within 1day. I went to have a final meeting with Sam and Phil at the store and they were both no shows with no contact. (was told that delay in project start and missed meeting were due to illness) I rescheduled with Sam the following day and was told that they discovered another pipe leak behind sink area. Several times I have emailed, texted and left voicemails to get documentation for my insurance company with absolutely no response. Currently the tub doesn't hold water for baths and the shower switch between the shower head on hose and fixed shower head isn't working. Again no one has replied. No one seemed to be a point of contact that would coordinate and oversee the project. The work was good, but the communication and follow up not so much. still waiting to hear from them!!

We are very pleased with the work and the professionalism this company shows. From day one, Russ Troxel, designed our remodel - he has so much knowledge of companies and hands-on experience - he is like an encyclopedia for renovations. Chris Klene, the project manager, could not have been more courteous and kept tabs on the work being completed (correctly). Not to worry, though with the team of Alfredo Chicas and Francisco. Alfredo, another encyclopedia of knowledge and years of experience, he was so insistent on attention-to-detail and the final bathroom being one that you could not find fault with and with Francisco's work ethic - not a minute was wasted! We have two other bathrooms that need renovation and we will definitely stick with Fairfax Kitchen Bath. Their whole team is knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and take pride in delivering a superior outcome.

Both involved a complete redesign including taking down internal walls, repositioning bathroom fixtures, rerouting pipes and rewiring. I have my kitchen remodeled by Fairfax Kitchen and Bath. The project manager Chris is very customer-orientated and does all he can to meet the customers' needs. He is very responsive, responsible and helpful during the entire process. Here is one example. My old kitchen floor made some squeaky noises. unlike other people who tried to solve the problem by putting more nails into the floor, Chris cut off the floor board where the noises came from, fastened the beam underneath, and placed a new wood board before the hard wood floor was installed. For another example, the newly installed wood floor had a "bump" around the air ventilation outlet due to some uneven metal frame and nails beneath. Chris had the newly installed wood panels taken out, lowered the metal around the ventilation and took out the bumping nails before letting the workers to install the hard wood floor around that area. Chris always does his best to get everything done right. the painting of the pantry was not included in the written contact but only discussed orally before the project started. When I mentioned to him that the pantry should be painted, he immediately understood the situation and asked the workers to paint the pantry without any extra cost. Chris even goes the extra mile to satisfy the customer's special request that may not be in the contract. He promised, for instance, to install two metal sheets beside the range as requested to prevent the cooking oil from splashing to other areas. It is a pleasure to work with Chris. i feel the project is in good hands and whenever i have issues or requests, I feel very comfortable talking to him.

We hired Fairfax Kitchen and Bath to remodel our very, very dated bathrooms. One project, the master bathroom, was a complete re-design requiring moving of plumbing, moving of walls, and tile work. The team was patient and worked with us to choose the appropriate tile, lights and everything and it came out absolutely beautiful. The team was always prompt, very friendly, kept things neat and collaborated with us. The second bathroom was dated but was more of a pull and replace level of effort; replacing the shower door, bathtub, lighting, toilet and new vanity with dual sinks. There was one issue after they left that I made Dwain aware of and he had the same two guys back at our house within 24 hours of my communication to remedy the issue.
