Dan and his team recently completed a bathroom renovation for me. This was my first renovation project. I had heard so many horror stories about renos, so I was a bit nervous about the project. DV Custom Built had done several projects in my condo. EVERYONE had nothing but great things to say about him and his team. My designer had also worked with Dan, and she also recommended him. It seemed like a match then that was meant to be. When you meet Dan, you will quickly realize one of his greatest skills is his ability to work with people. He is incredibly friendly, and you can quickly tell how much he enjoys what he does. Dan is in his “happy place” when he is working on renovations. My renovations went like clockwork, and DV Custom Built finished two weeks ahead of schedule! When does that happen in this industry?!?

When I initially met Dan to go over what I was looking for in a total kitchen renovation, he immediately understood the concept I was going for. I initially had hoped to expand the footprint for the new kitchen. Dan brought in an engineer and it quickly became obvious that this would not only put the renovation way over budget, but would cause major upheaval and a poor design layout in our basement. Within the same footprint as the old kitchen, the results are impressive - so much more usable space and it is a beautiful kitchen! Each member of Dan's team is friendly, courteous, and professional. They kept me up to date with what they were doing and what would happen next. They answered any questions I had. They kept the disruption to a minimum and always tidied up at the end of the work day. The quality of work is exceptional. As part of the renovation, one wall was removed. There is absolutely no way you can tell that the wall was ever there - the ceiling is flawless. The craftmanship of the cabinetry is beautiful. I have been so impressed with the folk at DV Custom Built that I have hired them for two more projects!

Was extremely pleased with Dan. He walked us through every step of the renovation of our bathroom, offering helpful tips along the way. The staff was professional, competent and everything was done beautifully, on time and on budget. The wow bathroom we were hoping for has become a reality. I moved into a new apartment in September 2016, the apartment was great but I wanted to update the bathroom. I met with a few different contractors who keep giving me quotes that were way out of my price range. Then someone reccomended Dan from DV custom built. We sat down and went over what I wanted, including ways to keep the project within my budget. About a month after that they started demoing and then re-doing my apartment. It turned out exactly how I invisioned it. Dan was easy to reach the entire time and everyone that he was working with/were working for him were amazing. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out and I will definitely be using them for any future work I choose to do.

AmSteam completed our final beautiful upstairs renovation project on our sixty-one year old home. Over the last three years this amazing team has performed an incredible transformation. Dan's company is outstanding,"everyone" from the office staff to each and every tradesperson. All courteous, professional and knowledgeable with an exceptional eye for details. AmSteam was hired to paint our entire house, tile work in our kitchen and adjusting a counter height. They came multiple times to consult and confirm what we wanted done. The work was done very well and any time we had a question or follow up item it was quickly addressed. This team was a pleasure to work with. They were in our home for two months and were respectful, hard working and attentive. The house was cleaned up every day which we very much appreciated. Thank you - our house looks awesome. I would highly recommend this team!!

I have contracted with AmSteam on two occasions over the last 2 years as a result of major insurance claims. From the office staff, to the supervisors and to the variety of craftsmen (drywall, flooring, finishing carpenters, etc.), I have always had nothing but the most professional of interactions. The employees of this company care about the quality of their work, almost to the point of perfection. They want nothing more than to please the customer and they take great pride in their finished product. They went 'over and above' on numerous times to reduce my anxiety at a highly stressful time (kitchen demo and rebuild x 2). The craftsmen are extremely good at their trade and we are thrilled with the quality of their work. I would trust this company with any type of repair or rebuild, and would rate them a 10/10 for responsiveness, trustworthiness, professionalism, and quality. They have done an amazing job at recruiting the 'best of the best'. Highly recommend them to anyone, and would hire them again in a minute if needed.

This is the first time I renovated a kitchen and I was worried about working with a contractor. Amsteam Renovations was recommended to me and they provided a great service and were easy to work with. Dan was easily accessible from the preparation stage to completion through emails, texts, and phone calls. This included late night and weekend phone calls and texts. Dan managed the project well and notified us on progress as it went along. The subcontractors that Dan hired were all professional and very courteous when working in our home. We were notified whenever a subcontractor was going to be in our house. For our first time renovating, this put us at ease. The quality of workmanship was excellent. The majority of the work occurred during the day and they ensured everything was clean before leaving. When issues arose, they contacted us immediately to inform us and have a discussion about the next steps. Overall, our kitchen was completed on time and on budget. The kitchen works perfectly for us and looks amazing. Dan provided great insight into our kitchen design and his experience renovating kitchens made the whole process easy. Working with Dan definitely alleviated my worries about working with a contractor. I would recommend Amsteam Renovations for your project and I will definitely use them again on my next renovation.
