Our experience with Constructive Design Inc for renovating our bathroom and kitchen was exceptional. Dan and Constructive Design just completed our kitchen and we are thrilled with the results! What I appreciated most was that Dan was extremely detail-oriented and gave us a progress report nearly every day. Our project wasn't a small task - he needed to replace an original kitchen from the 1950s, bringing many aspects up to code. He took his time to make sure everything was perfect and at the end of the project even secured some new cabinet doors (no extra cost) to replace some small flaws that we never would have seen ourselves. He also flagged that we overpaid him slightly and immediately returned the overage. We will definitely be using him again and would recommend him to anyone in the area.

Constructive Design was outstanding & professional. They installed our household water filtration system with no problems. We are so happy.

We recently had our kitchen remodeled by Constructive Design. Danny’s team did a great job. He always came up with great ideas on improving the usefulness of our kitchen area and is a perfectionist in every way! We were extremely satisfied using vendors he suggested and every step was completed in a timely manner. We’ll definitely be using Constructive Design again in the near future!

Working with Dan is the best experience you can have with a contractor. He's communicative and you will know exactly where your project is every step of the way. We received pictures and daily updates and were consulted and advised on things as they came up during the project, which they did. Our project was a huge outbuilding repair. It would have been easier to knock it down and put up a new one but town codes prohibited that option. Enter Dan and his crew to make it work. We had the misfortune of lead paint, it was dealt with quickly and efficiently at a cost, but not a punitive one. Dan's pricing is fair and you can feel confident in the work that will be done. You will feel like this is a guy who has your back, which of course is a rare thing indeed in the world of contracting. Without hesitation I will be calling on Constructive Design for my future projects.

Constructive Design Inc did a fabulous job on our addition. We put an addition on our split level house. We added a master suite, but also put in a brand new kitchen, updated an older bathroom, and added a gas fireplace with brick surround. As part of that, we also added all new siding to the entire house. Dan (the owner) is a great guy, honest, and detail oriented. He keeps you up to date on all progress of the renovations. They stayed on schedule and his subs were very professional. We were very happy with the results of our addition!!

You can not go wrong with Dan and his crew. He completed our kitchen, dinette and living room renovation and could not be happier. Unlike most places, they always cleaned up after themselves and never let their mess lying around my house which is greatly appreciated. I would absolutely use him again for any future projects. My husband and I have used this company for a number of small projects inside our home. Each project fit our budget and came out just the way we wanted it. Dan and his guys were great every time. We hired Constructive Design to redo our upstairs bathroom in our home.Danny came over before and after demo to look at job.He sent over a excellent plumber who took care of all the plumbing work.Once the tile was ready to be installed Danny performed the work in an excellent and professional manner.For a good quality job give them a call.

Mr. Dan Rummo of Constructive Design is a consummate professional in his field. This is the second and third construction projects he has done for me. Why did I hire him to take on these two projects? Because I could see from the first one (he completely rebuilt my chimney some years ago) that this is a man who, when he does a job, does it right; he is not satisfied until each step of the process is completed to his and the customer's satisfaction, and his standards are high. This recent job involved his building two completely customized, one-of-a-kind, storage sheds for me; a larger one for my bigger tools and garden equipment, along with a separate mini-shed to house my generator. While I knew approximately how I wanted the two sheds to be constructed, I did not know enough about construction to be able to give him the details, and there is where Mr. Rummo's ability to improvise on the job proved invaluable, enabling me to trust in Mr. Rummo's judgment based on his long and extensive experience. Moreover, he came each day promptly at the time he had indicated he would, worked from the beginning to the end of each day wasting no time, left a clean worksite at the end of each day, and kept careful cost records of the time and materials involved. In summary, I would not hesitate to call on him again should I be in need of someone to do construction work on my property.

Our home was flooded from Super Storm Sandy. Constructive Design completed the restoration of our home. Dan Rummo was totally involved with the process from start to finish. The work was done professionally & was completed in as timely a fashion as could be under some financial constraints. Dan was most helpful in the redecorating of our home & he was instrumental in assisting with bathroom & kitchen materials as well as decorative design ideas & details. Dan Rummo is very knowledgeable in ALL aspects of construction which was what we needed during our time of need.

I'm the lead supervising technician for a major appliance manufacturer. I had to service our newest hybrid hot water heater. Due to the layout of the garage, it was in a really tight spot and virtually impossible to service in its normal spot. Our company policy is that the customer needs to make it accessible to us. This is where Constructive Design went way above and beyond. He went out of his way to meet me on site, many times. He made sure he was there every time to assist me in completing my repair. Unfortunately for me, this took upwards of 5 visits, every time, Dan coordinated with me to get it done right & with as little inconvenience to the customer as possible. From planning to completion, the renovation of my kitchen was done with great attention to detail and professionalism. Dan Rummo was easy to work with, made excellent suggestions and made sure we were happy with the finished product. It was a complete renovation (down to the studs) and included design, plumbing, electrical, tile, cabinetry, appliances, etc. Dan helped with all the decisions and did a clean, beautiful job.

We would like to thank you for another great job! As always Constructive Design Inc. and Dan Rummo completed our project beyond our expectations! The latest job was the renovation of our living room, dining room, and hallway which included the removal of wallpaper, skim coating the walls, ceilings, installing all new moldings and painting. In addition, Dan recommended updating our lighting, or lack thereof, with the installation of 13 LED high hats total between the three rooms. What a difference the lighting made, we never realized we were living in such a dark home! The living room had a wall with the old brick paneling that had a small piece of furniture that housed our TV. When we told Dan, we wanted to keep the brick paneling to retain the warm feel, he immediately said that could not remain with such a renovation, rather he suggested a “stone wall,” which could simulate a F.P. complete with a rustic mantel and a large TV mounted above. In the Dining Room we wanted some accenting trim. Dan designed & installed custom wainscoting for us which included picturing framing on the lower half of the walls with chair rail and crown moldings above. We couldn’t be happier with the results! It’s a shame we had to cover the walls by putting the furniture back in it. The stone wall has become the focal point of the room now and so soothing, my wife sometimes sits there and just relaxes on the coach admiring it! All the work that was completed in our home between 2011 and 2018. 1.New backyard & driveway redone with pavers 2.Installation of eleven (11) new wooden Marvin Windows (including a large bow window). 3.Full Main Bathroom Remodel (which involved a full gut down to studs and updating of 90% of existing plumbing), design & build services 4.Powder Room mini remodel 5.Laundry Room Remodel 6.Full Kitchen Remodel/Gut with complete design & build services 7.Installed new attic insulation. 8.Renovation of two (2) bedrooms including removal of wallpaper, remediation of mold, drywall, skim coating the walls, painting updating the outlets & switches and new carpeting. 9.Replacement of front and rear storm doors. We are obviously very happy and pleased with Dan and Constructive Design Inc. All the work has been superb. Never having done major renovations in the past Dan took all our wants and needs into consideration and helped design and choose everything from layout, materials, fixtures, appliances, etc. He also gave us many ideas and options and showed plenty of patience being that we are older and stuck in the “old world”. He introduced us to a new, more modern and functional lifestyle which we appreciate. Speaking on a personal note Dan is ethical, extremely professional, respectful, honest, warm and educated. It’s evident he’s a perfectionist and expects only the best in his work and nothing less. We highly recommend you using Dan and Constructive Design Inc. for any home repair or renovation. Dan and his crew were amazing. My husband and I had them put in support beams in our living room ceiling and they came out beautiful! We also had them sand and stain our wood floors, bump out a laundry room closet and fix a vent that needed to go through our ceiling in our main bathroom. Deadlines were met, budget was set from the get go and if there were any issues he ran into while working in our house he was very honest and open. I would recommend him to anyone. We first met Dan and his team when he was contracted to build the soffiting for our new central hvac system in our home. Our house was built in 1853 and nothing is square, so this was not an easy task. The team of Constructive Design took a very rough looking air duct install and made it a masterpiece. The work they did looks like it was always here and a part of the house. In fact, they did such a great job that we use them whenever we need work done on our house. Since building the soffits, we have had them back to install a wooden screen door (which involved scraping 100 years of paint off the door frame, sizing the door, fitting and painting the door), fix walls that the previous owner did a terrible job spackling, fix a roof leak, and a number of other odd jobs that I did not have time to tackle myself. In short, Dan and his team are very respectful, honest, and they do great work. The best thing we got from installing our A/C system was discovering Constructive Design!
