Brian and his “team” completed a major master bathroom remodel in our townhouse this past December. They were efficient, conscientious and friendly! They completed the job in time for our family Christmas gathering! I would recommend them to anyone and would happily have potential customers view their workmanship. Hired Bolger to remodel kitchen: Replaced cabinets & counter; took down wall between kitchen & dining room; installed new peninsula cabinet, counter & floating shelves; new backsplash; repaired floor where necessary; drywall repairs; re-routed plumbing line that was in wall; relocated and replaced lighting and outlets. Love the results! Only project cost overages were decisions we made and were informed in advance. Estimated project time: 4 weeks. Actual project time: 7.5 weeks.

I am a homeowner in Camp Hill who hired Bolger to remodel two bathrooms at my residence. In a two and a half bath home, this presents some inherent challenges. Bryan and his team showed up at the appropriate times, completed the work promptly, adhered to the agreed schedule, and showed respect for our home and living conditions. The project moved from one bath to the next, and the work completed is far better than we could have expected. While unexpected issues always arise, Brian and his team were flexible and quick to provide solutions. We sustained very little impact to our daily routine while major work was completed on our home.

Project: New granite kitchen countertops, backsplash, sink and faucet. Brian was great to work with. Available as promised, responded timely to inquiries and hired two quality contractors. Started and finished work on time and on quoted fees.

I am a fairly new homeowner (about 2 years) and unfortunately had to handle multiple home renovations in a very short period of time because of multiple water incidents. So I've had experience with at least 3 different contractors/remodeling businesses at this point. I can confidently say that Bolger Design has been my best remodeling experience so far. They're easy to get a hold of, very good at sticking to a schedule, are all very friendly, and do quality work for a reasonable cost. The project they worked for us was our bathtub surround. We had a massive water leak a year prior from our bathtub and our surround was a disaster (black mold had developed, the original 1980s tile was cracked, and the drywall behind was so soft that you could push on the tile wall and it would buckle). Brian worked with our tile and fixture choices and our preferences for the layout/design, and it turned out better than I had imagined. The team did an excellent job in taking this project step by step, not taking shortcuts that could compromise the integrity of the result. They also made sure to cleanup as they went which is always appreciated. They also were very flexible in our additions to the project (you know you always think of other things that need to be fixed while they're there). I also should mention that since we've had so many water issues, I was very conscious of preventing future water damage and the team made sure to take that into account in the details of the remodel. In the end, I think that Bolger Design and Remodeling did an excellent job and I would absolutely recommend them. (PHOTO: The end result of our bathtub surround. Brian and his crew did a super job on my bathroom renovation. Brian was very responsive to all my questions. I am very pleased with their work and will use them again.

We have a new kitchen, and the stress level I had anticipated never happened, due to the professional and knowledgeable team of Brian, Ed, and James, plus the sub-contractors they used. They gutted the old kitchen, changed a wall, and turned the room into a functional and beautiful new kitchen. Brian (Bolger) patiently worked with us to design & modify for several weeks, he provided advice and suggestions and it all worked out. We had used them a few years prior to re-build our back-room addition, so the trust level had already been established. They will do the job until it is just right, they will come back if there is a problem, they were careful and respectful of our home, and they were delightful to work with. I recommend them. Our new home had basement rough-in for bathroom, and nothing else. Working with Brian, we came up with a design for a bedroom, full bath, utility room, storage room, and large common space. He was extremely flexible, so when we decided to add a coat closet, base cabinet, and shelving along one interior wall, he was able to make the adjustment "on the fly." Only hiccup was some miscommunication about the style of shower door/glass, but it worked out. Construction quality was excellent (Brian and his son, mostly), and the subcontractors--electrical/lighting, ceiling, paint--were also good.

My project involved extensive renovation to a small 1950's ranch house. The kitchen, living room and one of the bedrooms were combined into a modern open living space. The bathroom was also remodeled with a tiled shower enclosure. Brian's crew, and the subcontractors hired, all did very good work. Brian provided many good suggestions and was responsive to my concerns. The work was completed in a timely manner and within my budget.

Brian and his team worked diligently with us in helping design and execute our vision. Walls and carpeting were removed to create an open concept. Mid South's Stephanie was invaluable in designing the cabinetry layout to accommodate our goals. When "glitches" occurred, Brian and his team always remedied them to our satisfaction.
