This was our third project with Bay State (complete kitchen remodel). It would be hard to overstate how great they are to work with. So professional, knowledgable, organized, and caring with details. The project was 100% on time (2 months), and at the budget we expected. I appreciated how invested they were with the outcome being perfect, and not just the bare minimum to get the job done. Would 100% recommend them or work with them again. A few people in particular: Andreina was always on top of the schedule and details and great communication; Marcio, great eye and good advice on the finishing design touches; Jose, very efficient with the initial stages of demo etc and made sure everything else in our house was carefully moved and covered; Ray and David, great advice at the beginning; Dayna and Sabrina, very helpful with design/sourcing. And all the subs were also fantastic, great at what they did and professional/communicative. Thank you!

Bay State Remodeling had the confidence to fulfill our vision but also start and finish the job within a certain timeline. They didn't just remodel our kitchen, they completely transformed our space. What I appreciate most is how unified the team was. Andreina, Sabrina, Marcio and Jose did a stellar job leading this project. They were always approachable and professional, extremely timely, paid attention to every detail, and so savvy in coming up with solutions when the unexpected happened. They were impressive every step of the way. We are so grateful and in constant awe of our beautiful new kitchen.

We hired Bay State to build a full bath, with a shower and stacking washer/dryer, at one end of an underutilized room in our home. We were delighted with the result, which has added to the functionality of the space as a guest room, office, and laundry. The team ably trouble-shot a difficult challenge involving running a ventilation pipe to the exterior to meet permitting requirements. We would especially like to thank Marcio, for his expert carpentry; Andreina, for keeping the project on track; Dayna, for her help in selecting finishes; and Izaias, for his precise tile setting. The team did an excellent job of integrating the new bathroom into the existing space, so it looked as if it had always been there. Thanks, Bay State!

I recently hired Bay State to complete a kitchen and two bathroom remodel, and I could not be happier with the results. From the initial consultation to the final walk-through, Bay State exceeded all of my expectations. Their team of professionals were knowledgeable, friendly, and always went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with the work being done. The quality of their craftsmanship was top-notch, and the end result was a beautiful, functional, and modern kitchen and two bathrooms that I am truly proud of. I was especially impressed with Bay State's attention to detail, as they took the time to listen to my ideas and incorporate them into the final design. Sabrina is so talented and the effort in helping guide us with all the designing was appreciated. Jose is very helpful in explaining the project. Marcio really works hard and made sure the construction was exceeding expectations. David was great explaining the upkeep and making sure punch list items were met. Any slight hiccups were handled politely and respectfully. Their communication was excellent, and they always kept me informed throughout the entire process. We recently had our kitchen renovated with Bay State. We had an excellent experience. They exceeded all our expectations with their professionalism, knowledge, workmanship and communication. We initially worked with Sabrina on the design process who was absolutely delightful to work with. During the remodeling, Andreina was our key contact that organized the jobs and answered all our questions. She was very responsive and handled everything with care and speed. David and Marcio oversaw what was going on at the job site and their knowledge is amazing. They made sure all our concerns were addressed on a timely manner. And there is nothing they cannot fix! Jose was amazing organizing the job site. He was always very kind, prompt and super helpful. Bay State's crews are outstanding on their craftmanship. They also work with top notch subcontractors! Overall, they are fantastic at what they do and we'd love to work with them on our future projects.

Bay State did an excellent job with a difficult remodeling project in our basement that entailed installing a new bathroom and hallway in an unfinished space, relocation/replacement of our HVAC system, and upgrade of our electrical system. We particularly appreciated the entire team’s professionalism and responsiveness. We worked with Ray and Sab in the estimate/design phase and then David, Andreina, Marcio, and Jose on project execution. Would definitely recommend their services.

We had a wonderful experience working with Bay State Refinishing & Remodeling. We did a total demolition and rebuild of our main bathroom as well as a powder room, and Bay State was phenomenal throughout the entire process. Sabrina did a great job with all the design elements and Andreina was an incredibly communicative and responsive partner. I knew we were in good hands with Jose, who always went above and beyond and supervised the entire project. Marcio, David, and Paulo all did terrific work and were always professional, timely, and went the extra mile to give us exactly what we wanted. Special shout out to Tiago who is a tile genius! I won't hesitate to hire Bay State again in the future, and recommend them 100%. PS - we have a very rambunctious puppy and the Bay State team could not have been kinder to him (especially Jose and Marcio!). He LOVED playing with them and they were always so sweet even when they had a lot of work to do. Thank you again!

I would wholeheartedly recommend Bay State Construction. Everyone on their team was professional, responsive and reliable. In the beginning, as I was searching for help with my kitchen update, I was hesitant to hire a new construction company because I’d had problems in the past with other companies - unforeseen delays and intermittent communication. I also live in a historic pre-war apartment building in Cambridge that has strict rules about any construction. The Bay State team did everything according to the rules and were very professional about all the unusual requests made by the condo board. They did beautiful work for my kitchen renovation, even when, due to a clerical error (mine) with my condo board, I had to put off the renovation for a few months at the last minute. Though none of this was By State’s fault, They found another space of time for me on their schedule so that the project did not have to be delayed too much into the future. I am so grateful for that. In addition, I have high standards for workmanship and also made some spontaneous changes along the way regarding appliances and other things, but Adrienne, Sabrina, Marcio, Darly and everyone else on the team responded and accommodated me in a very reasonable and helpful way. They even put down a very nicely-done cardboard cover in the apartment hallway so that the carpet in the common areas would not be damaged. I always felt that I could pick up the phone or email them with questions and concerns and they would get back to me within a day and most often sooner than that. I would highly recommend Bay State for any renovation or building project, especially if you live in a historic home or apartment building. They were wonderful.

This was our second bathroom remodel with Bay State. As expected, they did an amazing job. They are extremely responsive, subcontract to reliable and skilled workers, and are communicative about the process. They set up appointments for us at all the relevant vendors, and made sure we had everything before starting the project. Whenever anything went wrong they made sure it was remedied. Thanks in particular to Marcio who gave us tips and opinions along the way about particular finishing details. And to Andreina who kept us informed of the day to day schedule and any other details we needed to have. Would 100% hire them again. Photos include the "before" images.

Bay State and their entire team did an outstanding job with my kitchen project. It was a complete gut and remodel and involved extensive engineering work due to the removal of two load-bearing walls. We could not be happier with the results. Sabrina worked with us to pick out our cabinets, and even though they were backordered, she encouraged us to wait to get the ones we really wanted. Clara and Andreina were always readily available when we had questions and were quick to respond. David was great to work with as well, and did a fantastic job coordinating the project. Marcio was on site often, making sure that everything was done to our liking. We were especially thrilled with all of Paulo’s work. He is one of the best carpenters we have ever worked with. His work was neat and precise. Everyone who has seen the kitchen since the remodel has said it is some the best work they’ve ever seen. Price and timeline were reasonable, especially considering how extensive the work was. Would highly highly recommend.
