We found ARTium's management, design and trades to be very professional and approachable. We were told from the start that communication was key. At every point throughout the project, we felt that we were fully informed about design, schedule, budget and way forward. When we did have questions, they were taken seriously and ARTium's response was timely and fully resolved our concerns. The quality of work was first-rate and the trades were highly knowledgeable, flexible, had strong problem-solving skills and were very consciencious about their work. Apart from some minor delays beyond their control, all work was completed on schedule and within budget. We found their invoicing and payment process helped us to manage our budget and we were aware of all costs at all times. Overall, we were delighted with ARTium's performance and with the end result. We are looking forward to working with ARTium again and highly recommend them to anyone considering a residential renovation, whether large or small.

We undertook a major renovation of our main floor which included removal of load bearing walls, removal/replacement of several windows and relocation of an exterior door. All flooring was replaced as well as entirely reconfiguring and replacing all kitchen components. The design/contract process employed by Home Inc allowed us to arrive at a final design and have all materials selected before the final contract was drawn up. This made the construction process itself much less stressful than we anticipated. Unfortunately, one supplier delayed the project which was annoying but Home Inc certainly did all they could to rectify the situation.

I've worked with the guys at Home Inc. for years now, and I've always had great experiences. Quality work, attention to detail and great project management. They have a great showroom for client meetings and are always available when needed. I look forward to working with them n the next project.

Our full-home renovation project comprised several rare design requirements and challenges. A classic fully supported circular staircase from the first to second floor was replaced by an open staircase architecture, free-standing on one side and spiralling down elliptically from the second floor to the basement. To achieve this unique goal, it was necessary to rework the house support structures in the basement and to fabricate custom-made railing components. In the basement powder room we designed a granite floating vanity. Because of the weight and the unique three dimensional sculptural shape, devising a support structure was a challenge. A marble-like porcelain tile, rectified to allow a very fine grout line, was installed with great precision throughout the first floor, including a medallion. The millwork in the basement was done exquisitely. All of the above work could only be done by a very capable contractor. We are glad that we selected Home Inc to carry out this project. They did a fantastic job. Home Inc has an excellent in-house carpenter team and a strong project manager. They also consistently work with the same few excellent trades, for plumbing, electricity and painting. As a result, there is great teamwork throughout and, with good planning, the trades are always available when they are needed, which allows a flowing and efficient schedule, with virtually no down-time. Thanks to weekly meetings with the project manager and nearly daily short and effective interactions with the lead carpenter, there has been excellent communication. As a result, we were always up-to-date with developments and we were reviewing the finest details of the design as we went, to reach a clear mutual understanding before implementation. The final result is exactly according to our vision. We will love our newly finished basement, our elliptical staircase, our new porcelain and wood floors on the first and second floor and our beautifully updated family room and kitchen, for years to come. We recommend Home Inc to anyone who looks for superior quality, outstanding craftsmanship, and second-to-none professionalism.

As an interior photographer I get to see a lot of different projects by a lot of different builders. You get to see the ones who do a good job and care about their clients and Home Inc. is one of those. Building on their reputation for immaculate and award-winning basement renovations, Home Inc has already produced some of the nicest home renovation projects I've had the pleasure of photographing. High quality build, fantastic design.

Home Inc. design-built a complete renovation of the main bathroom and the main-floor powder room, including also replacing the ceramic tile flooring on the main floor, replacing the baseboard molding and door trim in main areas, and re-painting all affected areas (the two bathrooms, kitchen, hallways and laundry room). Home Inc. provided high quality service from start to finish, explaining each step of the design-build process, and the cost breakdown. Once we agreed to the design and the price, Home Inc. delivered on schedule and within budget. When a mirror cracked during installation, Home Inc. promptly replaced it. Unfortunately, we chose a poorly designed faucet for the whirlpool tub, and it took American Standard almost 8 months and four attempts by their service plumber before it was fixed, at no cost to us other than time and aggravation. While we are most dissatisfied with American Standard and their post-sales support, we are extremely pleased that Home Inc. stood by us and became our champion with the wholesale supplier, the service representative and with American Standard itself. This is a rare, high standard of service that stands out above all other home renovation companies with whom we have dealt. If we have any constructive criticism for Home Inc., it would have to be better communication with the client. There were times when tradespeople would appear unannounced, or not appear when we were informed they would be at the house. Finally, during the entire saga with American Standard, we would have appreciated knowing the status of communications with them, and not having to prompt Home Inc. for updates. We would be remiss if we did not mention the following people for their outstanding commitment to service excellence, our principle contact and project manager, the designer and the lead carpenters. We are already planning the next renovation, and will soon be re-engaging Home Inc.

In August 2014, we purchased a 38 year old condominium in Ottawa. We recognized the condominium would have to be completely renovated, in order that it met our needs, prior to us actually moving into it. HOME Inc. was one of three companies that we approached regarding our renovations. We chose HOME Inc. due to apparent expertise, estimates and services offered. We are very pleased that we did so. The kitchen and both bathrooms were completely designed for us and we had significant input into the design and choice of the fixtures, cabinets and tiling, etc. In some cases, we gave general requirements and left the final choice up HOME Inc. For example, the first time that we actually saw the hardwood flooring was during its actual installation. In all cases, we were pleased with the choices made for us. Our renovations were not really smooth and there were numerous times when we had to act on situations that arose. However, since we lived over a four hour drive from Ottawa, it was reassuring for us to be dealing with an organization in which we had complete trust. Based upon our experience, we would recommend HOME Inc. If we were doing it all over again, we would consider nobody else. We highly recommend HOME Inc.
