We recently replaced/ remodeled our kitchen and chose to work with ARA after visiting a number of other operations. We felt they offered the best combination of price, quality and expertise. It was a great choice. The selection of cabinetry and counters was extensive. The designs and consultation were excellent – a great combination of decades of experience matched with total knowledge of modern trends. They generated computer drawings that helped us realize our vision and left no surprises. The installation crews were expert journeymen. The typical bumps you could expect on a large project were handled in a timely and well thought out manner. We are extremely pleased with the look of the new kitchen and thrilled with the work flow since my wife and I like to entertain and will often have “help” in the kitchen. Well done ARA.

He was ultra patient as we made many decisions. 100% devoted to follow up regarding questions or concerns. We were so pleased and will do our bathrooms next!

I have worked with Jeff and his team at ARA in now three projects in my home a full gut job on a laundry room and two bathroom projects. Jeff and his team make it easy. His showroom has it all and if you don’t see what you want, he will find it for you! His team is always on time, clean, and trustworthy. I highly recommend for any bathroom, laundry room or kitchen. Baseline cabinets were of good quality. Lots of paint chips in bookshelf on top when shipped. Hole in cabinet door (that was marked when shipped, so they clearly knew). Couple extra holes in the bookshelf. Trying to figure out whether the cabinet mfr can fix.

ARA gets a triple A rating! We recently completed a beautiful new master bathroom renovation within very reasonable budget and their extra service allowed us to skip the cost of a decorator. While all significant renovations have a few unexpected bumps, their immediate response times addressed all questions beyond my expectations. I am already planning my next remodel due to their exceptional work. The entire team was a pleasure to work with, very accommodating, and I highly recommend them all.

We have used this convenient "To Go" center for 3 of our bathroom remodels. After searching for kitchen cabinets in the Chicago land area for weeks we decided do go with ARA Cabinets 4 U. The professional people at ARA treated us like family, and gave us the best price by far! Our new kitchen arrived on time, the delivery was flawless, and the whole experience was outstanding. After installation we noticed one of the cabinets was a little damaged, and ARA replaced it for free(no questions asked). I would not only recommend ARA Cabinets 4 U to my friends and family, but to all people looking to update a kitchen or bathroom!

We bought a bathroom vanity from ARA and had a great experience overall. We first met with the receptionist, whom was nice and friendly. She showed us around and gave us examples of what we were looking for. After talking to the owner, Jeff, about my budget, he showed me many vanities that fit my style and my budget. My husband and I love our modern grey vanity with a beautiful quartz top. Even the man who delivered the piece was nice and friendly. Overall, the process was quick, affordable and ARA is relaiable. We are definitely using them again.

ARA remodeled our kitchen, and it has great “curb appeal” and looks lovely to our guests (who don’t look too closely). Working with our designer was a pleasure. He was very concerned with helping us figure out the challenges with our former kitchen and addressing them in our new design, and helped guide us through the extensive choices around cabinets, counters, etc. ARA contracts out the actual installation work (cabinets, counters, floors, electrical, plumbing), and by and large the installers were friendly and willing to answer our questions. But the process as a whole had some major problems, and I would never use this company again for remodeling work. The plumber mis-piped the sink in the powder room, with the hot and cold water reversed in the tap. The electrician had to come back to address some issues that caused us to fail the inspection after the project was complete. And there are clear “fit and finish” issues in the kitchen where cabinet trim and such do not meet well and require filling. Additionally, our contract indicated that the kitchen would be left “paint ready”. Our painter was appalled by the state of the kitchen when the project was finished. He estimated that it took him two full days to get the kitchen to the point where in fact it was ready for him to paint (which we paid for as extra time). After asking us who did the kitchen work, he informed us that he would never accept a job following ARA. Most disappointing to me was the floor contractor, as we installed wood floor in the kitchen to match the adjacent rooms. There are areas where the floor was incorrectly finished (gaps in the gloss), and many areas where the floor was clearly not correctly/completely stained. I pointed out many of these defects immediately, and was regularly told by the project foreman (an ARA employee) that they would be easy to take care of “later” or that I would never notice them once the floor was done. Neither turned out to be the case; some could not be fixed later without redoing the whole floor (tearing out cabinets, etc.). Our foreman’s attitude appeared to be “I am the professional, just leave me alone and don’t ask questions.” At one point, when I was showing him defects in the floor (including dirt finished into the top coat and areas not stained) he threatened to simply walk off the job and not return should I continue to raise the issue. I was shocked and appalled. My letter to the owner of the company went unanswered. Six months later, I have growing gaps between my cabinets and the ceiling, and gaps in the wood floor. The wood floors that have been in my house for 15+ years have no such gaps, and it is shocking and sad to have such problems with our new floor. I have written extensively to the owner, and received no reply. They clearly do not stand by their work during the project, or after.
