AIM Kitchen & Bath opened in the spring of 1988 by Fred Hulten and Peter Gersdorf, who've been in residential renovation for 30+ years. Fred retired in 2011 and Pete in 2020. The company was purchased by Ryan and Debra Pudenz in 2020, and in partnership with Ryan's extensive background in business management and Debra's in interior design, the company continues to thrive and grow. Our well-trained installers, including two master plumbers, can handle anything required from the drywall, flooring, and all types of ceramic tile, cabinetry, and trim work. Our company mission is to focus on residential kitchen and bath remodeling in Central Iowa and control the quality and timeliness of the installations with our own in-house installers, which makes our company shine over others. We are a one-stop shop with our showroom, interior design services, top-quality custom cabinetry, granite, quartz, and solid surface countertops. As a member of the national SEN Design Group, we continue our education yearly to learn the latest design concepts and greatest in products and installation of kitchens, baths, as well as proper business practices. We support the Better Business Bureau and are a member of the Home Builders of Greater Des Moines. We build great relationships with our clients and keep the renovation experience fun and exciting so the client doesn't have to lose sleep over their project. Alex and his crew did a full kitchen remodel. They tore down a wall which opened the kitchen up to the dining room. They added new cabinets, new quartz counter tops, new sink, new backsplash, pantry, and lighting. We couldn't be more happy with the results. We spend most of our time at home in this space now. The crew was very professional and kept the area very clean when the left for the day. I would recommend them to anyone and plan to use them in the future for additional updates.

After looking at several companies I picked AIM to finish my kitchen. Alex was my sales person and go to guy he was great. He took what I had in my head and improved it I have a beautiful butcher block on my island. He helped me pick a countertop and backsplash to go with my cabinets and walls. he thought of everything including changing my out lets to match. the staff is great the young man that seemed to be in charge of my job was great. He over saw everything and made sure everything was to my liking thank you so much. I did not get a chance to tell you it looks great I am in love with it. Thank you all it was worth the wait.

AIM put in hard wood floor in entry, half bath and kitchen. New quartz counter-tops in kitchen and half bath. New fixtures, hardware, etc. Modified kitchen cabinets including building in microwave and adding a hood above stove. Review: Working with Alex from AIM was a true pleasure. He made the daunting task of picking flooring, counter-tops, fixtures, etc as easy as possible. He advised and guided us to make selections that made the most sense for both practical reasons as well as appearance. We were all ready to replace all our kitchen cabinets but he came up with ideas to slightly modify them which was a huge help to our budget and also allowed us to in turn afford new appliances as part of our project. The crew was extremely professional and took great care in their work. My wife and I couldn't be happier and would highly recommend AIM to any of our friends and family. We are ready to do more work in the near future and Alex was first one we called.

We have worked with AIM on two major remodel projects: a complete remodel of our first floor and total renovation of both upstairs bathrooms. In both cases, the finished product exceeded our expectations. Alex guided us through both projects with expertise and a wide array of options. AIM has an amazing crew of skilled professionals. Their ability to troubleshoot and problem solve was very much appreciated. It was reassuring having such trustworthy professionals in our home over the four month project. The projects were finished on time and on budget. No surprises. We felt our satisfaction was the number one priority and AIM made sure that happened. We are looking forward to working with them again.

We hired AIM to do a total gut and replace job, floor to ceiling and wall to wall, on our kitchen and have been very happy with the process and the results. Alex is a responsive designer, gave us choices and listened to what we wanted. The finished design is what we were hoping for. We were told up front that the job would not be finished until WE said it was. This was accurate and AIM made sure all our concerns were addressed. The job came in at what we were quoted. AIM's work crews showed up on time, communicated with us clearly and were respectful of the rest of our house. Would hire again and actually did so for some minor work in the bathroom.

We were looking at remodeling our kitchen and bathrooms so we contacted AIM based on reviews. It was nice to learn that AIM has their own full-time crews that perform all of the construction, plumbing, electrical, etc. work. Our designer, Alex, was knowledgeable, friendly and patient with our many questions. After meeting with Alex in our home and AIM's showroom, we had the information we needed to define the scope of our project. We decided to concentrate on our kitchen and first floor bathroom and wait on our upstairs bathrooms. The project was started and completed when we were told. The workers were friendly, skilled, trust worthy and patient with my many questions and notes during the project. They kept the areas as clean as you can during construction and always locked up our home when they left. We were very pleased with the service and final product. We had a couple of minor items that came up several months after the work was performed and AIM addressed it promptly and satisfactorily. We've been so pleased with this project that we are now working with Alex again to remodel our upstairs bathrooms. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend AIM and Alex.

We hired AIM to do a master bath remodel. Our designer, Alex, was easy to work with and did a good job guiding us through the process. The various crew members were all respectful, hard-working, and clean-up after themselves every day. We especially appreciated Joe's attention to detail and desire to make sure we were happy with the results. Timing on the project was 2-3 weeks longer than we anticipated. Nevertheless, it was a good experience and we will be using AIM in future projects.

Great working with Alex. Exceeded all of our expectations! Our second floor bathrooms are the highlight of our home. Workmanship is first class and the design makes use feel like we are walking in a spa each time we use these rooms. We've already started another project with AIM. We have hired AIM to do three projects in our home: a complete remodel of our master bathroom, remove a large door to our deck and replace with a window and smaller door, and install a bar area in our basement. Each time, we were happy to work with Alex (our designer and project manager). I was especially appreciative that after getting to know our styles he could narrow down choices because I get overwhelmed when going into a showroom and having thousands of options! Once the crew starts your project, the workers are polite and very careful to lay down tarps and keep your house as clean as possible during a remodel. We also really like that they had in-house all types of expert workers, so there was no waiting for a plumber to show up! Once they start, they will be there everyday until it's done. I also liked that they were willing to let us do some of the work ourselves (like painting, etc.) to help lower the cost of the remodel. I would highly recommend AIM for any remodeling needs!

I was thrilled with AIM and my new kitchen was just what I wanted! From the beginning, Alex, my designer, worked with me to create a plan that was functional and beautiful and his recommendations reflected my style while drawing from his past experiences with particular finishes, materials, and layouts. The work was completed shockingly fast and the workers were extremely respectful of my home and even cleaned up areas outside of the kitchen impacted by dust from the project. I would recommend them without reservation--they are well worth the wait!
