This is the second door I've purchased from Doors4Home, and I could not be happier, they are to me the best in the industry. The doors come well packaged on a pallet, wrapped, boxed, and in great condition. Shipping was quicker than expected, here in 2 weeks. Great communication from purchase till door delivered. A light sanding with 220 sandpaper, I finished my door with 2 coats of (Minwax wood finish stain, Dark Walnut) to match the existing frame, very happy with results. Everyone compliments it's beauty!! Great company to work with.

Door came in a timely Fashion. Luckily we are farmers and had a forklift or the guy would not have been able to get it off his truck. Install time and we found that the brick mold is not attached, nor precut- just the pieces, prehung door was not prehung (I assume because of shipping), paid for it to come finished in black and it did but it is a shotty finish job. The black paint is smeared on every pane of glass and drops of paint are dripped on them too but don’t worry, customer service will tell you that you should have no problem using a razor to scrape it off yourself. And you can touch up the spots they missed too. When we started to install the handle, we found it to be broken. It is very cheap. When we contacted customer service about that, we thought it would be covered under warranty but they said it’s from a different company. They did try to call that company but no answer so it’s back on us to either get ahold of the company or buy a different handle. I wish I had went with one of the other companies for the front door. I will not use them ever again. We have several rentals so I thought I’d found a place to help us save money- you get what you pay for and in this case, it seems to be expensive JUNK.

Save your money. These people are not honest. They sent me 2 doors. One was exactly correct size. The other was not. They blamed me for size error and refused refund. These people are NOT YOUR FRIENDS.

Order a front door on 3/3/2023 with an estimated ship date to Iowa of 4/4/2023. On 4/7, I had not gotten an update so I emailed asking for one. On 4/10 I was told door will be ready for pick up on 4/13 and when it is picked up, I would receive notice from the shipping coordinator. Did not hear anything so I emailed again on 4/18 asking for an update. I was told it had been picked up and was waiting at a terminal. Was again told I would get notice from shipping coordinator which I never received. On 4/21 a local trucking company called me to schedule delivery the following Monday. On that Monday, 4/24, the door did not arrive. I called trucking company but needed the tracking info which had never been sent to me. I had to call door company again and leave a voice mail. A few minutes later I finally got an email with the tracking info. The local tracking company was able to update me as to delivery. After it was delivered in a very heavy crate which took almost an hour to unpack, we quickly inspected the door for glass damage, etc. When our contractor arrived two weeks later to install the door, he realized the screws to connect the threshold to the side with hinges were driven in too far and split the mahogany and the threshold. The person who did that while assembling the door had to know the damage occurred. Instead the door was crated and shipped. Thankfully we were shipped new pieces a week later which I the. had to pay my contractor to disassemble and reassemble the door frame. No discount or partial refund was offered. The door is beautiful. However, be aware their Quality Control is lacking in the manufacture facility. For the amount of money we paid for the door, I wouldn’t have expected such shoddy workmanship.

On our third set of doors from them. My favorite is the mahogany with 5 lights with the side light in Jacobean. People ring our doorbell to ask where we bought our door. Gary and his team do a wonderful job of servicing what they sell. The quality of the door is superb. I’d give 5 ⭐️ if I could. The Calverts in San Angelo, TX

We waited months to receive our front door. It came damaged from the manufacturer and had places where they used wood filler that will not take stain as the natural wood does. They refuse to replace the damaged door. Instead they sent a panel for our builder to replace. (Why should our builder be responsible to fix the manufacturers lack of quality.) The piece they sent as a replacement was also damaged. I would not recommend ever using this company for anything. Worst customer service ever.

We were promised that the door would be shipped in 5 weeks, we are at the beginning of the 17th week and are still waiting.

unfortunately my experience was less than pleasure able. placed and paid for order in February beginning of with an estimate arrival of end of May so 10 to 12 weeks. June 4th comes and no doors come. I emailed and I called to find out where my order was...my order was never placed ??. What..but I paid in full for it... I was told there was a mix up in house and they would reach out to that vendor.. so now it will be another 10 weeks but no one notified me or credited me back. I think we are all tired of the COVID excuse for delays, things falling thru the cracks and being told a time frame then it get pushed out again and again nothing we can do..Really? The doors finally arrive Mid August by 3rd party freight company in a large wood crate and is left at the bottom of my driveway curbside delivery only. What? .on a rainy day no advanced call like I requested 30min prior so I could be there. Upon opening the container and removing the wide frame boxes they pack them in just card board with an 8" surround leaving the doors exposed. We finish the removal of the card board an inspect the doors noting an 'unforseen damage " left side 4' from the edge a hole. The vendor claimed no responsibility so not there problem but they packed it and shipped it with this freight carrier. Really? I received and email from Doors4home with a link to get putty filler...Mmm really?...Service has fallen to a level of non existence no one cares anymore about Quality, timelines, or Customer Service..they just pass the buck and drag it out for months on end with no apologies or responsibility..it's all about there bottom line.. Sad Sad world it's become...Maybe 7k is not allot for some people but you can't place a price on valuing your clients or doing your best for them....Don't represent brands you can't stand behind..and admit when you make a mistake be responsible own it. Sincerely Designer with to many long lead times on EVERYTHING!! Really..

I was in the market for a new front door, but I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted and I didn’t know what would work and look good for my style of home. I came across Doors4Home and I was very impressed with their wide variety of options. I worked with Steven and Adi and since I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted, they took the time to help and guide me through the different options and what would look/work best on my home. The customer service was beyond excellent and I really appreciated the extra time they spent with me to make sure I was 100% happy with my selection. I ended up buying a beautiful contemporary four light door and I couldn’t be happier. The door works very well with my home and brings in the extra light I needed at the front of the house, yet still maintains the privacy with the satin glass. I highly recommend Doors4Home if you want an excellent quality product at a great price and excellent customer service.

I want to say thank you to Doors4Home for our magnificent front doors. When I first came upon this website I was a little overwhelmed. I took my time to navigate the site and everything you need is there. If you don’t understand something, call them. I did just that and I spoke with Steve who helped me every step of the way for which I am so grateful. Our doors arrived, completely crated in such a way that it would have been very difficult to damage them even if you tried. They are outstanding, my husband and I are over the moon. Thank you Steve and Doors4Home for your expertise and craftsmanship.

We were wanting mahogany doors for our front. After having an estimate from Pella that was over $12,000 we had just about given up on that type of door. Then we found doors4home.com and we found the exact door we were looking for. The customer service was excellent and the price was less than half of what Pella wanted. The rep told me our door would be built in the Pella factory in Pella Iowa and the only difference is that my door is labeled MIA and the expensive one says Pella. The door arrived in perfect condition. My contractor kept remarking on how beau and we’ll constructed the door is. I can’t stop looking at it it is gorgeous!! Next project we have we will get our doors from Doors4Home again!!

Purchased Doors4Home double door in May 2020. Paid $3300. Was told 4 - 6 weeks. Took 12 weeks to get there. I was ok with that. However, the door arrived damaged, the hinges were screwed in at an angle, the door was not stained evenly, the door did not close properly. They promised a replacement. They told me it was shipped and after waiting for 4 more weeks and stringing me along, the door was never sent. I was offered a $400 credit against the $3300 door. I found them to be unethical and dishonest. To this day they have not attempted to correct the problem. The door will not close properly. I am only one experience, but of my $400,000 renovation project, this was by far and away the most disappointing piece. I do not recommend and buyer beware. They will tell you how great their reputation is but they do not disclose all the facts.

Highly recommend Doors4Home. Excellent customer service. Quality doors. Doors4home helped me throughout the measurement/ design/bespoke process and sourced exactly what I wanted. I’m delighted with my double front door purchase. Doors have been installed and fit perfectly. Worth every penny!

I called Lesters in the afternoon they were there the next morning and within two days I had my new garage door. They’ve handled everything as far as permits and inspection and even sent me reminders of the inspection date. I have used them in the past to repair the door and I have had nothing but outstanding experience. I highly recommend.

Previously left an unfavorable review about a door we purchased. Adi contacted us and went over the top to get the situation taken care of. He has taken care of the situation and we are very pleased with the results.

Spent 4K on a door that came warped and had a problem with the door locking mechanism. Gary Carpenter kept giving us the runaround. Always needed more pictures, or some other excuse. We finally jump through all those hoops and now the door is discontinued. Won't give us a refund. Want to pro-rate it? give us $1,800.00 back after 2 years.

Just received our new door and it is gorgeous. The only problem was that the sidelights were the wrong size. Once we contacted Doors4home they took immediate action. Within 2 days we received notice that they would be shipping us another door. Great service I would order from them again.

Doors4Home had exactly what I was looking for, and had a great selection to choose from. The full light entry door arrived well packaged, in great shape and was exactly as described. My contractor had no problems installing it. My contact, Trey, was very, very helpful and the service was excellent.

Recently I purchased a new home and have been slowly sprucing it up. I've always loved how eye catching a unique door can be when everyone else in the neighborhood has the same one. I bought a door through Doors4Home because their website was very easy to navigate. I felt like I could purchase a product without the help of a sales rep and through a custom order; like you have to at a big box store. After setting all of my requirements for my door, the website told me how long it would take to ship the door as well as the price I would pay. Sure enough, the door arrived within the time frame specified on the website. The door was expertly crated and showed no signs of damage, which was amazing considering it had come halfway across the US! I scheduled a date with my installer, he installed the door, and my home is much closer to being completely upgraded!

-There was no communication from doors4homes in the form of a confirmation email or when it would be ready -I was told someone would call me back 3 times and no one did. -I was given inaccurate information about how long it would take to finish the door. (The door was -ready 3+ weeks earlier then it was suppose to be.) -Doors4homes connected me directly with the manufacturer to avoid responsibility and facilitating the final steps of the order -Doors4homes never apologized for the terrible customer service -The door was unfinished and this information was not clearly communicated on the website and wasn’t clear for a new buyer To me there is no excuse for this level of terrible customer service.

I bought a fiberglass door which actually came as a wood door with side fiberglass panels. Not at all what I expected!! I paid $5025.00 with shipping. The doors were scratched up and the sill was dented. The builder found that the frame was out of square and wouldn’t close properly. I took pictures of all the issues and sent to Jeffrey at doors 4 home. At first, Jeffery was great saw the damages and told me that he would give me a full refund and to package it back up and he’d send a freight company out to pick it up. He told me he’d get with the management team to give me the full refund. After 7 days with no refund I contacted Jeffrey back and he said he has to wait for the doors to arrive. On the 10th day I got a refund of 4000.00 they charged me 1000.00 for the freight charges and said I was lucky I didn’t get charged a 25% restock fee. Told me that the doors are in perfect condition and there was no issues with them. Basically, called me a liar and said my builder had no idea how to install them and I should of hired a painter to fix the scratches.

Received our door had it professionally installed and first rain(2 days after installation) it is leaking at multiple seams of the door. Contacted Trey who then contacted the manufacturer Pella MAI doors and they state since no overhang there is no warranty that maybe we should try to caulk it, $2,800 for a door and it leaks first rain is not covered since no overhang and the solution is an unsightly silicone caulk for a brand new door seems outrageously wrong for the consumer. Buyers beware, not only are we out the 2,800 for a bad door we are also out installation and now for another door and installation fee to get rid of this door so we don't ruin anything inside from the constant leaking. We are very upset to say the least at Doors4home and the manufacturer.

Buyer beware! Metal grills started rusting in all the welding/solder joints within 2 months, an obvious manufacturing defect. After we brought this to there attention they responded with the following, deflecting responsibility, telling us to fix it “ridiculous.” The warranty doesn’t cover the grills on the doors against rusting. The grills are made of iron and although they are powder coated, iron can and will develop rust when exposed to the element. To prevent the grills from developing rust they need to be kept clean and lubricated during this time of year. Especially in your area where it snows and freezes. Removing any rust spots is easy using steel wool and wiping with vinegar. After the area is clean spray it with flat black Rust-oleum.

The door is beautiful and of high quality. Small pickup we experienced with orientation and delivery were quickly and easily recovered. Great customer service. Good impression. We would use this company again.

our door arrives this week, I was a little concerned when I roughed it in with less than an 1/8 inch tolerance. I was relieved when I slid the door frame perfectly into the space. The craftsmanship is excellent. this is a great door and a perfect match for our home. Now I have to find a window to match!

Amazing experience with this great company. They saved the day on our out-of-state build when our builder did not come through with our front doors. I ended up sourcing the doors myself and handling the shipping through Doors4home. They were super helpful on the phone with all the specs and my doors were made and delivered fast and below cost of what my builder could do. And the doors look pretty darn amazing inside and out and are the focal point that make the view from the front come together.

My husband and I purchased an exterior FiberGlass modern door 2 years ago from Doors 4 Home that was manufactured from Escon Doors in LA, CA. Within a year in a half, we started to see mold/mildew on the exterior of the door. Within 2 years, the entire exterior portion of the door was covered w/ mold/mildew. We contacted Door4Home and were provided w/ recommendations for different remediation treatments but had no success. Doors4Home then contacted the manufacturer who said it had nothing to do w/ the pre-finish of the door, and also could provide no specific reason for this to happen or claim any responsibility. It was suggested that excessive water and/or “bug spray” did this. We have a large awning over our door; therefore, there is no way that our door was subject to water AFTER we received it and our bug spray people do not spray the entire door or chemicals could have done that. Doors 4 Home did offer a “discount” on another door; however, they can only provide a 1 year warranty and can’t guarantee it won’t happen again. Like another review said – 1 year warranty is just enough for the doors to hold together. Shop Elsewhere. Also read specific reviews on the manufacturers they sell. We ended up going w/ a local manufacturer who offers a 3 year warranty and a lifetime warranty of mold/mildew and looks very similar to the door we received from Doors4Home.

This company is very attentive to detail and ensures your project has what it needs. I also appreciated the suggestions made concerning my house style, quality and appearance of the door on my home. The quality of the door was superb and my install carpenter was astounded at the quality for the great price.

The staff at Doors4Home, has been great to work with. With their help I was able to find the correct piece of replacement glass for my door in less than hour. Not to mention the price was better than any I was coming across for similar glass. For quality, price and customer service you be hard pressed to beat Doors4Home!

We absolutely love our new front door! The door arrived in perfect condition and we were so excited to see the beautiful quality and craftsmanship of the wood door and beautiful flemish glass. We needed special dimensions and the 3 x 7 size worked out great since we could cut it down to fit our existing frame. We painted it a shiny black. The door is stunning, and completely transformed the look of our front entrance and home!

We are very pleased with our new door from Doors4Home. It was packed and shipped without any trouble. Our contractor had no problem installing the door. We did consult with him when selecting the specification for the door when we ordered it. This is recommended unless your experienced with installing doors. Our previous door from the 60s was just a panel door with no windows. It made our entry and living room rather dark. We live in northern Michigan, so cloudy winter days in the living room were dark. Even though our house is a cape cod we really like the mid century mod style. Doors4Home was a perfect place to find the door we wanted. The door now lets in a lot of natural daylight which really transformed the entry and living room. We love it.

The doors were well packaged so they arrived with no damage. Quality is superb, just as pictured on the website. Company was very responsive to my pre-purchase questions; I didn't have any after they arrived. Everyone that has seen them has complimented us on the "new" look on the entry to our home. Would definitely purchase from them again

Website inconsistent, misleading and confusing on door measurement on different doors on the same website, not all measurements are listed and not given measurements properly on complete prehung door units. Their website states a prehung door includes everything inside the frame and they give only one measurement and call it a unit and list it under one single item number for one price then they tell you after you get a door that doesn’t fit that each element is measured individually so the 6x8 door is really 6x10. And even though you ordered a standard size door right off the website and made no changes or customizations they tell you it can’t be exchanged or returned because 10 foot doors are custom doors, when you never ordered a 10 foot door in the first place. The website says doors are not returnable on the home page but if you click on their return policy it states doors are returnable for 3 days if they are not special order custom doors. When you call them to report an issue, they say basically too bad for you and refuse to discuss any options to rectify the problem at all. I don’t care what the reason for an issue with the purchase, if a customer spends $4,000 in your store you try to resolve any issue they might have in an amicable way. Not this company. They are rude, condensending and dismissive. They immediately go on the defensive and blame the customer, the manufacturer, the shipping company etc. This pattern is evident when you look at other reviews/complaints about this company that can be found on reputable consumer websites such as the BBB and I’m sure will appear here shortly n response to this review (apropos). That attitude solves nothing and represents a very poor business model. They only attempt to resolve the issue after the bill is disputed with the credit card company and the credit card company reviews the evidence and sides with the customer and withholds payment. At this point, they try to resolve it by telling he customer to send them more money to straighten it out. That is ridiculous. That demonstrates that they care nothing about the customer once they receive the money and only care when it affects their payment and proves that in fact, something could have been done to resolve the issue that they said nothing could be done about. To be fair, they have a nice selection of quality doors, but so do a variety of other door companies. I advise you to shop elsewhere.

It was so easy to order such a quality door. It arrived without any problems. Plus, the gentleman that installed did an excellent job, Seth. Everyone should use him.

The sales department was extremely helpful over the phone. I had questions about door finishes and they were happy to email me pictures of fairly true stain tones. With a non-returnable order, I was a little uneasy about ordering a custom door online. Long story short, my door is perfect!

This was my first online door purchase, and the most expensive door too. When I received the door I could not believe how beautiful it was. I was very impressed with the overall detail and quality of materials.THEN! I began to notice small flaws in the craftsmanship. #1. one of the Clavos was not "seated" into the wood all the way.. I called D4H and they said, sorry, and they would send me a new one to replace the bent one.I am not sure how to get it out and the new one in? I do not want to pry on it and damage the beautiful Alder surface. It is something I was willing to deal with. #2. After meticulous preparation I applied a clear finish. When I looked a the door, the finish had highlighted not seen wood filler that had been used to cover up the holes made by the Speak easy door being put on backwards and the new holes drilled to put the door on right and then the old holes filled, They old holes did not show up until the finish was applied. Now I have 8 different color "Dots" on the face of the door. #3 I understand this type wood has misc knots in it. They add character to this style of door, but after I fastened it into the opening my contractor noticed the jam had a strip of BARK as part of frame. He picked at it with his finger and the bark just fell out. This bark has caused me to change how the stucco finsh will be applied around the opening. Also, I found a large chunk of wood putty that had been used to shape the edge of the door at the hinge. I have not called D4H about this because I don't know what they could do about it? The door is in. Over-all it looks great! Quality Door but very poor Quality control. Why would someone make such and wonderful piece of art, and cut corners on anything? I would have refused to accept it off the delivery truck if I had known about these defects.

I am pleased to recommend this company to anyone who enjoys a professional experience. They gave me the answer to my cabinets and did the work on time and at a very good price. I highly recommend this company. You will enjoy working with them..

We are in the middle of finishing up our Craftsman style home. This is the door we ordered from: Doors4Home - Mahogany TDL 6-Lite Double Entry Doors Brand: DSA Doors Item #: 4986 Model: Tiffany TDL 6LT 6/8 E-04 The door in the pictures we stained and finished. We hadn't taken the plastic off the window panes or added our door handle. The door came shipped to our construction site and it was well packaged. While it was in the package made crate we had someone try and steal the door. It fell out of the moving truck. The only thing that got broken was the middle jamb wood piece. Nothing else was harmed. We were able to order the piece and replace it. I can honestly say that this door is made well and doesn't break easy. Grin! We love the look and I'm so thankful we chose Doors4Home to purchase our door. Our builder said it would have cost more through them and they wanted to know where we got it.

I am a contractor in Missouri and we needed a specific door for one of our homeowners. We came across Doors4Home and they were very professional. When we received the door it was free of defects and came in exactly when they said it would. When we installed the door, we did not have any issues either. It was built exactly to the size we requested. We had a great experience.

I ordered a custom made contemporary door from Doors4Home and it was such an awesome experience. I had an unusual install situation and had to have a custom size. The door is gorgeous and it fit into the existing cavity like a glove. Super easy install. All of my neighbors are stopping by to ask where I got the door. We are renovating and restoring a house built in the 1870's. Steve at Doors 4 Home not only helped me with the order for my door but gave me information for the contractor who was installing it. I have had many compliments on how attractive it is and will send photos when work on the front porch has been completed. My contractors have also expressed interest in ordering doors from Steve in the future because of the quality and price of the door.

We have ordered many doors from this company in the last year for our custom homes in the $600,000 to $1,000,000 range. Gary responds quickly to my emails and the doors arrive in a timely manner.

All my questions were answered before I ordered the door. the door was received on time in perfect condition. We were very satisfied with our door and the service was excellent.

The door and side lights are well constructed. The joinery was square and tight, very nice mill work. Shipping structure was sound and stable.

We ordered a center arch mahogony door and it was beautiful and well made. It was not damaged at all during the shipping process. The shipping was fast and was a very quick process (about 2 weeks). We stained it and it is really gives our home great curb appeal. We'ce received so many compliments.

The company is great to work with. We ordered custom double doors for the front door of our house. The ordering process was straight forward and self explanatory. It's the most beautiful mahogany door ever. Exactly what I want. We stained it Sedonna Red and the finish is gorgeous. The price with delivery charges was less than odering from a local place. The door arrived right on schedule, packaged for freight no damages. The door was delivered right into our garage. I loooove my door. Great company and a great experience.

I would NOT recommend this company! In all appearances I thought I was getting a good product. The customer service crew was good and helpful. However when I received the door the shipping company left the huge double door in my driveway with me inspecting the door and then proceeded to leave (I wasn't even home). I had been told that they would call before they came - no call received. Then when I took the time to stain the door, had it professionally installed, one of the doors was warped. Which was somewhat evident when staining, but I honestly didn't realize it until installed. So the door was not level with the frame at the top of the door. This results in a small gap, but it very evident when it's 10 degrees outside. When I contacted the company they were very helpful at first even telling me that I would receive a new door. Then when asked to take a picture with a level, they went back on their promise and said it was an installation issue! It was most certainly not as the "level" of the door was clearly out of whack and improperly made. Not to mention going back on their original promise. Would and will not recommend!

Update: Owner contacted us and expedited a replacement door. The height of the bore holes didn't align with the previous ones (off by about 1/2-3/4") so had to have trim carpenter bore new and patch old inside the frame. Some disagreement on who was at fault but he did what he could to make it right. ---- Had a terrible experience with Doors4Home after ordering a beautiful modern front door for a major home addition/renovation project. The first door arrived with the wrong side light and the wrong drilling pattern. They ultimately agreed to send a new door, but it took over a month to arrive. When it finally did, it had an ugly bore hole where someone seemingly made a mistake and patched it like it was no big deal. At $2000+ for a door, we are super unhappy and plan to write the company directly to see how they plan to address this. Will update if they respond.

The Andean Walnut 2-panel v-grooved door was exactly what my customer expected. It looked great and was of high quality. The sections where each part of the door was joined, were tight and well made. I would purchased an unmachined slab and unfinished so that we could machine for our custom hardware and match the customers custom stain. So, I cannot speak on their finish or machining since I didn't experience that. However, this door was great and I would highly recommend it to others. The price point for a door of this nature was also outstanding!

The door did require some additional sanding before painting as it was a little rough. We searched high and low for an 8' x 42" front door for our new home and are so happy to have found Doors4Home. The company answered all our questions over the phone and we purchased the door online without seeing or touching it, which was a big leap of faith for us. The door, hardware, and multi-point locking system appear to be of the highest quality. Our door was stained and finished on site and looks beautiful. It also has a very tight seal. We've received numerous compliments and we haven't even moved in yet!

Very disappointed with the quality of the door we purchased from Doors4Home and the customer service. We ordered a prefinished door for over $2,500 and within two months the door is already bowed and warped. Buyer beware there is no warranty for a southern facing door. We live in a very mild climate area of California. No extreme highs or lows, very little rain and no snow. There is no reason for the door to warp and bow within a couple of months. The old door was there for over 30 years with no problems. I would not recommend doing business with Doors4Home.

Over the years I've purchased a large number of merchandise and services on the internet. Ordering top end doors, sight unseen, was a first and done with some reluctance until I spoke with one of their knowledgeable and helpful salesmen, Ali. He walked me through the process and helped me chose the correct configuration for the french doors. Ali also said they stood behind their products and would help rectify any problems. The doors are stunning! Only one issue with a slight damage to a door locking pin that was quickly resolved. Bottom line: great products, great value, impeccable service, and attentive, knowledgable, helpful staff with outstanding service.

I purchased a mahogany front door through Doors4Home. The price was substantially less than the same door through a local vendor. What really made the difference for me was the customer service rep, Adi. He was very helpful and attentive to the details during the purchase process. When I hit a snag because the contractor who was to receive the door to stain it had to move on short notice, Adi helped with the transporter to get the address changed and the door delivered. Also, when one of the contractors broke a couple of threshold screws during the install and I had no luck finding local ones that would work, Adi secured a couple from the vendor and sent them to me free of charge. My wife and I purchased doors from Doors4Home back in March or April of this year. We waited for delivery for nearly two months and finally received our doors in late May. The doors sat in our garage, in the box they were delivered in until this September - we looked at the doors only to verify they were not damaged by the shipper. This past month (September) I then pulled them out, put a clear finish on the doors to draw out the natural color of the wood, and then had them professionally installed. It is at the point of install that we realized the doors were TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COLORS...and, very noticeably different, as has been pointed out on FB by friends. I have contacted Steven at Doors4Home last week, via phone and email. I have sent him photos of the doors. His first response was that there is nothing they can do, since it was several months between delivery and install. However, he also indicated he would take a look, speak to the owner and get back back with me...he actually told me I would get a reply either way. I still have not heard a word back from him, nor from the owner, as promised. We like the doors very much. However, the different colors of the doors, we DO NOT like at all. At this point, I would highly recommend being very cautious with Doors4Home...as their customer service seems to be very poor. I will keep you updated, if this resolves.

This company had great customer service and a premium product. I purchased 3 sets of mahogany exterior french doors from them and had a professional contractor finish and install them. The contractor followed the recommended procedure for acclimating,finishing and sealing the doors. Within 1 week of installation the 6 of the 9 glass panes in one of the doors was full of moisture. I contacted Doors4More and they contacted the manufacturer. The manufacturer would not make good on the defective door since it was placed in an area that did not have a 48" overhang to protect it! So, if the door is not on a deep set porch or inside the house then they are not honoring their product. Where in the US do we have 48" overhangs surrounding the house! BUYER BEWARE of where you are placing these doors if you purchase from this company. Read the warranty information carefully.

The doors are absolutely beautiful, They were even more than I ever expected. When they came out of the box, I was so thrilled with the quality of the construction of the doors, the quality of the materials and the packaging was excellent to protect the doors. I hired a local contractor to install the doors and he was even surprised at the quality of the doors for the price that i paid, which was quite reasonable. Thank you, thank you, thank you, I have needed to replace my front doors for years and the installation of these doors just made the whole front of my house become a showcase.

Great company, excellent service, very professional. I went to their showroom in Austin feeling very discouraged because I was having difficulty finding the door hardware I needed for an outside studio building on my property. The salesman, Steven, really listened to what I was trying to accomplish both aesthetically and for security and considered my low budget for this project. He took the time to suggest product, call his vendor to confirm and ask questions that they had the product I needed and then called me when the product arrived at their location (I received free shipping by having it delivered to their showroom address). Unfortunately, the vendor shipped the wrong product, one of which (hinges), Steven was able to have them ship to me 2-day direct to my home at no charge. The other product, a deadbolt, was not what he had discussed with the vendor on the phone and during the conversation to get the correct hinges, Steven discovered that the vendor simply did not produce the product that I needed and Steven was given the wrong information during his first call with the vendor the day we ordered my product(s). Steven credited my card for the deadbolt and I received the correct hinges within 2 days. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience with this company. They truly tried to assist me, took time with me and ultimately provided a product that I was unable to find elsewhere (the hinges). Their showroom has an excellent view of their quality doors and I will recommend them to my friends and others as a full-service company for door and/or door hardware.

I usually do not do reviews of the products I purchased. I of course have my opinions of them, but I just would not do reviews. However, this time is different. I felt I really should and must do it to do just to the mahogany French door I purchased on-line from Doors4home. The door has been arrived for about 10 days; I am still in disbelief that I am the proud owner of it, simply because its beauty, quality, and craftsmanship are all beyond my imagination. I had been searching for wood patio French doors for a long while. I needed to replace two large sliding doors which were both quite old, one of them was the original with the house, thus should be more than 40 years old. My early search somehow convinced me that only a few manufacturers, three to be exact (Pella, Anderson, and Marvin), make wood patio doors in US nowadays. I ended up with a pine wood / clad French door styled sliding door from Pella Architect series, which is Pella’s best of the best. I hired a contractor to have the Pella Architect French sliding door installed in our kitchen last summer. The Pella door is all right, I was not thrilled yet I like it. But my contractor thought it’s crazy to spend this much money (around $2400 or $2500 ) on a door like that. I continued my search. I need a real French door, not a French door styled sliding door, for our living room, which is attached with a three season sunroom. At first I thought only Pella has it which is priced at $3300 or so. I hesitated. I was afraid that my contractor would think I am really stupid. I searched and searched. Finally, with the key word “wood French door” I was directed to Doors4home. After a very friendly and informative talk with the salesman (Steven) over the phone, I settled with this unfinished mahogany pre-hung French door. The manufacturer’s service was both sufficient and efficient. I was informed in time when to expect an email from manufacture for shipping info and when to expect the phone call from the from the carrier, and received via email the warranty and instructions for receiving delivery and how to treat the door with wood finish. The door travelled from CA to MA and all went very well. Now we have this truly magnificent, beautiful, very high quality, very solid, and extremely well made door installed in our high ceilinged A framed living room, opening to our tree surrounded sunroom, I just can’t help feeling lucky! When I told my contractor that I would rate this door on-line, he asked to include his approval and praise. He said the bronze finished hardware (I told Steven we will stain the door in dark mahogany color to match the beams, he picked the right color for me) is very strong and of very good commercial quality. He also commented that every part of the door system is made with precise thus is easy to install. My contractor insisted that I should buy an expensive large handle for this magnificent door, which I did. He has been in his trade for more than 30 years; he has not seen many doors like this one. He is very impressed as we do. By the way, the price of this 100% solid mahogany wood thick and heavy door is very fair, just a half of the price of the Pella equivalent which uses pine wood and metal (the pop on design and craftsmanship of the grills of Pella French doors are rather bad, not only hard to pop on and off, but also looks cheap due to being thin and crooked). I am not sure if I have made any sense here. All I want to say is I never dreamed to find this beautiful door and I simply could not be any happier!

After losing my home in the Bastrop Texas Complex Fire, Labor day weekend 2011, I bought a house in Austin. I loved nearly everything about the new house except for the front entry. It was dark with no windows. I purchased a door form Doors4Home the following April and it made all the difference in the world. The door is solid with very thick layers of etched glass and iron scroll work inside the layers. It lets in light without losing much privacy. I so enjoy rolling into my driveway and seeing the door still, 9 months later. The workmanship is perfect and everything arrived in a timely manner and have had many complements on it. The hardest part was choosing which door to buy.

Bought a solid mahogany (front) door and brass hardware for my home. Could not have been more pleased. Products were completely as advertised and was extremely happy with the price of both....especially the door. Both were shipped to my home and arrived very quickly. Had a local carpenter do the install, and have had many compliments on the finished product. Worked almost exclusively with Steven Cannella, and he was very responsive /helpful re the purchase and the follow-up. (Asked for a touch-up kit for any future use, and he obtained one from the maker of the door.) Both Steven and the products were 5-star in their performance/ratings. I am reluctant to buy anything on-line from a picture and description. But the door was even better than I had imagined. Saved $1,500 in comparison to a product of a competitor. This was truly a terrific buy and customer experience.

My biggest problem is finding something I like. It took me almost a year to find these fabulous doors. Then I asked Steven Cannella if they made sige lights. He said no but you can easily put doors in the same opening. Who knew? I never understood side lights or their function and I remembered the days when two doors were beautiful and had function. I took a picture of my home, sent it to Steven and he imposed the doors I had choosen onto the house. It was easy to see the finished product. Much easier than in any store. The doors arrived on time and were delivered professionally. I had fears because my driveway is a diveway but the man that delivered took them right down my diveway with no additional cost and extremely compliant. . I highly recommend this company.
