Whitehaus Collection

We bought a faucet from the Whitehaus collection and spent a super premium amount of money on it, but it was very elegant looking. It wasn’t worth the money. The spray head has been failing for years and finally the button to switch between spray and regular froze. I wrote the company and they no longer have the head in stainless steel, only in black. I asked if they had any other heads that would match and they sent me a picture of one that was not really close, and then told me it would cost me 65 to get it. Wait, what? Moen, Delta, Kohl’s, they all warranty their products for life. Not Whitehaus Collections! Today I ordered a replacement faucet for 1/4 what we paid for the Whitehaus and it’s covered for life of ownership. Elegant, yes, worth it, absolutely not.

We bought a Whitehaus fireclay sink from Vintage Tuba and Bath for our home renovation. The shipping date for the first order kept being pushed back. It got to the point where the shipping date was going to hold up the entire renovation. So, I was forced to order a second more expensive version. We weren't living at our home at the time the second sink was delivered and the package was left on the front porch. It wasn't until late in the day the next day that I saw the package and realized that Whitehaus/Vintage Tub and Bath only gave us '48 hours' to inspect the sink and submit a claim if it was cracked. I opened the box and looked at the top, but It was much too heavy for me to turn over. The sink was covered in dust and dirt too, which made it more difficult to inspect. To the untrained eye though, it seemed ok. When our countertop people came to install the sink and measure for the countertops they pointed out that there was a crack. It was hair thin and hard to see. He actually felt it before he saw it. He flipped the sink over and there was a more visible crack on the bottom. This crack went all the way through which he said meant it was during the making of the sink, not the shipping of the sink. Plus, the packaging used for shipment was super thick and the box was not damaged at all. This was a $650 investment, and something we couldn't afford to look past. Customer service said the only thing they could do was submit a claim to Whitehaus. I submitted detailed photos and descriptions to them, but not surprisingly, they rejected my claim and now we have to throw away a $650 sink. Once this happened to me, I started checking around, and I found a lot of similar experiences online. Be very careful what you order online!

It's been 1 year since we installed these 5 Whitehaus Magic Flush 1-Piece 1.6/0.8 GPF Dual Flush Elongated Toilets in White. Everyone who uses the powder room wants to buy one! The kids each have their own and we were worried at first if these would clog or who knows what. All are working perfectly and still look new and we couldn't be happier! Highly recommended!
